The moment the surgeon showed me my CT scan and explained the entire treatment plan was a turning point for me. He was honest from the outset about my bone quality and the associated risks, and even let me see the design of the implants before the procedure. I had work done on both jaws. Now, in the early stages of recovery, I feel better than I expected. The clinic provided excellent support afterwards: they stayed in touch, gave me clear instructions for aftercare and were always easy to get hold of. I had initially gone to Turkey to consult with a dental clinic there. The initial clinic consultation went a direction that didn't want to go to meet my needs. Bookimed was able to quickly arrange more consultations with other clinics and Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital. I really liked the dental staff and the vision/action plan proposed by Bahcelievler. I quickly decided that they were the best option of all my consultations there in-country. Due to the severity of my dental needs, the Chief of Dentistry (Dr. Esma Sonmez) personally took my case. Her and her team were fantastic. She highly recommended the oral surgeon, part of the hospital, Dr. Celal Gondirll. I highly recommend both of them. Mr. Gondirll communicated clearly the game plan, successfully followed through with a well-performed surgery, and was available for after-care. I needed 24 crowns, with temporaries installed prior to the jaw surgery, and permanents installed post-surgery. Dr Sonmez performed all the crowns herself. In all, everything went very well. My hospital medical coordinators, Ms. Rose and Mr. Masoud, did a great job of coordinating the activities, hospital stay, hotel stay, and shuttle services. It has only been about a week and a half post-surgery, but I am very pleased with the results. I'm sure things will only improve more as the swelling subsides in the coming weeks. None of it would have been possible without my Bookimed coordinator, Winnington, quickly pivoting after my initial consultation going south and arranging the consultation with the hospital. An additional point to mention is that Bahcelievler Memorial Hospital was able to perform all the needed services at a significantly cheaper price. Dr. Sonmez is also very conservative in her approach to dental care and was able to successfully avoid 12 root canals that my initial dental clinic consultations had deemed "required." I would strongly suggest adding a consultation with the hospital prior to finalizing any action plan. Thank you!

My dentist Dr Taha Atkas is very professional, soft talking, and walking me through the entire process, which makes me very comfortable to work with them. Dr Taha Atlas is a great asset for the clinic. I finished all on 7 for my upper and lower jaws. I just finished stage 1 so far so good and will come back in 6 months for stage 2. After operation, I had bleeding in the nose. The clinic helps me out in this regard and the receptionists and clinical staff are all friendly, and helpful along the line. It was a pleasure experience so far. I reviewed the 1 star review for this clinic on this website and understand the concerns raised by other patients. I understand the price is a sensitive topic. (e.g. the quote is different from initial agreement as the brand or treatment plan changes on site). My suggestion to avoid those 1 star review comments happened to individual patient is please to work with due diligence: (1) ask for the quotes with all the details and request all the brands and materials used in writing; (2) ask the virtual consultation to walk you through step by step. And for each step, ask for the price in writing. (3) provide your dental x ray and ask for the treatment plan based on the dental x ray as the x ray picture won’t change a lot and the treatment plan shouldn’t change significantly based on x ray. (4) you could request directly talk to the dentist and nailed the treatment plan before you leave. This would help mail down the price. The x ray won’t change so the treatment plan should not change significantly. (4) the bookimed should be your support system along the line. The bookimed has been very helpful and supportive for my case. Thus far, my experience is great.

In the clinic during my treatment there were many patients from different countries. Due to the fact that the logistics were at a high level, the treatment was carried out comfortably and without delay. A very important factor during treatment is the patient's communication with doctors and other specialists, during which not only the main, but also minor, but no less important, details of the treatment are clarified. I do not know Turkish and do not speak English to the extent that I can tell the doctors everything they need, as well as understand the much needed feedback. But thanks to the translator provided by the clinic, Lyudmila, who received her university education in Turkey and is fluent in Turkish, I had a complete understanding with the doctors and with the clinic staff. Lyudmila constantly accompanied me in the clinic: during all procedures, consultations, during the entire operation, which lasted more than 3 hours, as well as during other organizational issues. On her recommendation, I saw, in my free time from treatment, the ancient city of Ephesus (located near Izmir), which is one of the seven wonders of the world of the ancient world. I thank all the clinic staff, drivers, my curator Ezgi for their attention and kindness. In 6 months, the second - the final stage of my treatment - the installation of zirconium crowns and veneers will take place. I look forward to this stage, the results of which I will also share. I was impressed by the sedation as I am anxious of the dentists at the best of times but I didn’t experience any pain or discomfort I usually have with my dentist. Also, I understand I was quite a difficult case (tooth extraction and multiple bone grafts etc. and so I’m happy to the doctor was able to successfully complete.

It is still not over for me. I will attempt to keep the best oral and general health over the next 6 months - with no teeth - and delay my celebration until I have some usable teeth

I had a good experience although I wasn’t as prepared as I thought about the extent of my situation with my upper jaw. Had I known it would have been I’d wouldn’t have come alone.

The service is great .very efficient . The hotel is great .i went for first visit for all on 6 implant .upper and bottom jaw . The clinic is in a hospital ..it put me at ease .my coordinator is very good ..the team of surgeon dentist .prothesist are all very professional ..the surgery went well .i had one chick swallowed after and browsed bit then .no pain . Only discomfort mainly because of healing process of gum and all 12 implants .. a prescription was given to me.antibiotic and painkiller.. thank you .see you soon for second visit

Everything in the clinic itself was excellent. Competent specialists, friendly staff, everything on time and without any problems. I would only like to note the choice of the hotel was not very good, the dark room went out into some kind of well. Day and night the same. And in the restaurant where most of your patients were forced to eat, the choice was not rich to say the least, but for me, who had all my teeth removed, it was completely sour. Eating the same soup 3 times a day is not very pleasant.

Quick and professional service

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The dental surgery was effective and painless. But i would have liked a more detailed explanation of all the stages and what to expect. My mouth was uncomfortable, mainly the stitches but not painful. The hotel was very nice. but obviously the food you can eat without Teath is limited. Overall i am pleased with the first stage of my implants looking forward to stage 2

They did everything well and quickly. The hotel (choice from the clinic) was very good. There were no problems with the transfer.
