"The prices at the Memorial clinic indicate that it claims to be a clinic not only with highly specialized specialists, but also for a clinic of high quality service
The prices at the Memorial clinic indicate that it claims to be a clinic not only with highly specialized specialists, but also for a clinic of high quality service. The general impression is that it is not worth it, for such amounts you at least expect to receive test results and a conclusion. I received the following services at the clinic: - tests One nurse took tests from me and another patient at the same time, and almost mixed up the labels on the test tubes. - doctor's consultations (gynecologist, dermatologist) The appointment of a dermatologist was not issued either digitally or in paper form, which caused problems during the subsequent treatment. In gynecology, there were two parts of the tests, some told me that they were good, but I didn’t receive any conclusion, nothing. The second told me that they would inform me by phone, but no one contacted me. - medical procedures I was signed up for medical procedures, but when they arrived, the nurses began to ask me how much the medicine cost, the price for which they wrote to me on a piece of paper a week before. A very strange way of determining which drug to inject a patient. I expected the assignment to be stored in an internal electronic system. - translation On the day of the consultation with the gynecologist, after waiting half an hour for a translator into Russian, they gave me an interpreter in English (post factum), in general, I made an understanding based on the results of the analysis, but unfortunately, I do not know the gynecological topic in English at the right level and ask some clarifying questions were already pointless.

FAQ about Hair mesotherapy in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is hair mesotherapy, and how is it performed in Turkey?

Hair mesotherapy in Turkey is a non-surgical treatment using micro-injections of vitamins, amino acids, and medications directly into the scalp. It stimulates hair follicles, improves blood flow, and strengthens hair roots. It is often combined with microneedling for better absorption and scalp stimulation.

  • Injection technique: Micro-injections at 1 cm intervals deliver tailored nutrient cocktails.
  • Common ingredients: Vitamins, dutasteride, hyaluronic acid, amino acids, and peptides.
  • Procedure setting: Performed in accredited clinics in Istanbul and Antalya with English-speaking staff.
  • Treatment plan: Multiple sessions typically start weekly, moving to maintenance visits every few months.
  • Follow-up care: Patients often receive home-care serums and microneedling guidance after clinic visits.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkey’s top clinics, like Quartz Hospital and Soraca Med, combine mesotherapy with hair transplants and include all-inclusive packages, making treatment convenient and effective for international patients, including Australians. Clinics with government accreditation and international patient experience ensure clear communication and quality care.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey appreciate mesotherapy for improving hair thickness and scalp health. Many highlight the ease of combining mesotherapy with hair transplants and value clinics that offer clear aftercare instructions and home-use kits upon leaving Turkey.

What are the potential side effects of hair mesotherapy in Turkey?

Hair mesotherapy in Turkey is generally safe with mild, temporary side effects. Common reactions include scalp redness, soreness, swelling, and minor itching. Serious complications like infections or allergic reactions are rare, especially in accredited clinics with experienced specialists.

  • Common side effects: mild scalp soreness, redness, swelling, and small bumps.
  • Rare complications: minor risk of infection or allergic reaction to injected nutrients.
  • Technique: topical injections reduce systemic side effects compared to oral DHT blockers.
  • Safety: clinics like Soraca Med and Memorial Şişli hold JCI or Turkish Medical Association certifications.
  • Post-care: following doctor’s aftercare instructions helps prevent side effects and aids healing.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics with Turkish Medical Association or Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation manage risks well. For example, Soraca Med offers 24/7 doctor monitoring post-treatment, reducing side effects. Mesotherapy in Turkey causes fewer side effects than similar procedures like Morpheus8 due to its topical action and limited systemic absorption.

Patient Consensus: Most patients report no or very mild scalp discomfort after treatment. Many highlight quick recovery and appreciate mesotherapy as a gentle alternative to oral medications. The experience in Turkish clinics feels safe and supportive thanks to attentive aftercare and experienced teams.

Who is a good candidate for hair mesotherapy in Turkey?

Good candidates for hair mesotherapy in Turkey include those with thinning hair, early-stage hair loss, or stress-related shedding. It suits men and women wanting to strengthen hair and boost scalp health. Pregnant women and those with serious skin conditions should skip this treatment.

  • Thinning hair: Effective for brittle, weak hair or early hair loss stages.
  • Pattern hair loss: Helps slow androgenetic alopecia shedding and improve hair quality.
  • Postpartum and menopause: Supports women with hormone-related hair loss.
  • Scalp health: Nourishes weak hair roots with poor microcirculation.
  • Procedure traits: Outpatient, minimal downtime, often multiple sessions.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish clinics offer varied mesotherapy types, including PRP and dutasteride injections, but patients often combine treatments for better results. Clinics like Soraca Med provide 24/7 post-treatment guidance and all-inclusive packages, which help Australian patients manage care easily abroad.

Patient Consensus: Many Australians find hair mesotherapy in Turkey works well as part of a combined plan, supporting hair strength rather than fully fixing baldness. The quick recovery and outpatient nature appeal to those fitting treatment between busy schedules.

What are the main benefits of getting hair mesotherapy in Turkey?

Hair mesotherapy in Turkey offers advanced scalp nourishment with minimal downtime and expert care. Clinics use injection therapy combined with oxygenated treatments to boost hair growth, reduce inflammation, and restore scalp health. Many providers hold Turkish Medical Association certification or Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation.

  • Cost-effectiveness: Mesotherapy sessions range from $100 to $300 AUD in Turkey.
  • Oxygenated therapy: Unique in Turkey at Hair Clinic, speeds recovery and reduces scalp pain.
  • Expertise: Doctors like Cengiz Yaylaci perform 20,000+ hair therapies with natural results.
  • Package deals: Clinics such as Soraca Med include transport, accommodation, and post-care support.
  • Supportive therapy: Widely used alongside PRP and hair transplants for faster, more effective restoration.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics with oxygenated therapy see faster recovery and less scarring, a distinct edge in Turkey. Many top providers offer combined mesotherapy and PRP packages, making treatment both affordable and effective. Clinics with certificates like Turkish Medical Association ensure qualified doctors and consistent quality care.

Patient Consensus: Patients appreciate the clinic packages that cover travel and recovery support. Many report noticeable hair thickening without the need for harsh drugs. The treatment suits Australian patients seeking fast, no-fuss procedures with genuine care in Turkey.

How many hair mesotherapy sessions are usually required in Turkey for noticeable results?

In Turkey, noticeable hair mesotherapy results generally require 3 to 8 sessions, often combined with medications like finasteride. Clinics usually schedule treatments 1, 3, and 5 months after hair transplants. Maintenance sessions beyond these may be needed depending on hair recovery progress.

  • Session count: Typically 3 to 8 sessions based on individual recovery.
  • Treatment intervals: Most clinics suggest sessions at 1, 3, and 5 months post-transplant.
  • Adjunct therapy: Mesotherapy is used alongside hair transplant and medications, not as a standalone cure.
  • Visible results timeline: Hair transplant results with mesotherapy become noticeable around 8 to 12 months.
  • Session frequency: Clinics recommend follow-up sessions for enhanced graft survival and maintenance.

Bookimed Expert Insight: The standard 3 sessions prescribed by Turkish clinics often reflect the post-transplant recovery timeline. However, many patients opt for up to 8 sessions for better density. Clinics in Istanbul like Hair Clinic and Soraca Med offer tailored mesotherapy plans, mixing treatment and meds, which aligns with improved patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey say early sessions support hair transplant recovery well. Many highlight the need for several follow-ups and combining mesotherapy with medication for lasting effects.
