Dr Fuzun — Istanbul

If you're considering this, you need to be aware of what can happen. Everything changed on the day of my procedure. I originally received an offer from Adem&Havva clinic for a DHI transplant 4000-4500 grafts with Dr.Fuzun, but I "did the hair transplant at Scala clinic(they colaborate together)with Dr.Cengiz Yaylaci 3600 grafts Fue Sapphire... I didnt knew the Dr. change or the tehnique change." The surgeon was rushed, spoke no English, and only made incisions after a technician drew my hairline. It’s too early to tell about the results. I feel Bookimed should care about their clients, not just money. My advice: if they change anything last minute, stand up and leave.Dont trust Bookimed!

My biggest concern before arriving was the recovery process and whether placing 4000-5000 grafts would feel overwhelming during the initial healing phase. Two weeks after the Sapphire FUE procedure, the most prominent sensation is a slight tightness in the donor area, which is manageable and seems to be improving daily. The surgeon and staff were precise throughout the process, ensuring the technical details were handled correctly. Right now, new stubble is already growing in the recipient area. The progress is visible. I spent a lot of time researching the sapphire method because of its precision for high-density transplants. While the early days required some patience, the current results seem to be on track. The clinic followed all protocols strictly. I am monitoring the growth closely.

The transfer from the airport to the hotel-clinic-hotel-airport was excellent. Translator Bibi was very attentive and friendly. I can't comment on the results yet because it's only been a week, but I hope everything will be great.

Very pleased with the way everything went. Excellent organisation and attitude to the patient. The procedure itself is not very painful, everything is very calm (it only hurts when the anaesthetic is injected). The doctor prepares the channels for the hair herself. Excellent hotel, impeccable transfers and support from the organiser/translator. It's too early to tell about the results, but so far everything looks good. My only regret is that they didn't add hair on the temples. I wish the doctor had noticed that too. Very grateful to all the staff.

Attempting a hair replacement procedure in the United States is not only costly but also requires expertise that is well-regarded in other countries, such as South Korea or, in my case, Turkey. The shaved head option is cheaper, but I believe it is more hygienic. The unshaved method looks better while you are healing (as you retain your usual hair), but I personally feel that removing all hair to give the doctors a clean base for the procedure is the best approach, as well as being more affordable and hygienic without compromising on quality. Your cost will vary based on your consultation with Bookimed, which includes sending them photos with specific instructions. Ultimately, the final cost will depend on the number of grafts needed. However, Bookimed will work to find the best deal for you based on the procedure you choose. Compare other clinics if you feel that Bookimed offers you the best price on comparable procedures from other clinics. I recommend arriving in Turkey about 3-4 days earlier so you can see this beautiful country before your hair care procedure. They will arrange transportation and hotel accommodation for you if you wish to stay additional nights and will meet you at the airport to take you to your hair care procedures. I cannot emphasize enough that my visit and procedure were excellent, and I highly recommend Bookimed for hair procedures and even plastic surgery procedures (I will be having a chin lift next). It has only been a week since my procedure, and I can post photos based on my current healing state. But I have had no issues or side effects, and my scalp and hair are healing and growing properly. The clinic will monitor my hair process for one year to ensure my hair grows well, and I am completely satisfied. I hope this review helps many of you.
