Professor Acaroglu is the founding director of the Ankara Spine Centre and a recognised authority on complex spinal alignment.
Dr. Mustafa Akkaya earned his medical degree from Gazi University (2003–2009). He completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University (2009–2014). He holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine from the same university (2016–2020).
In 2022, he received the European Knee Society Knee Arthroplasty Traveling Researcher Fellowship in robotic knee arthroplasty. He worked as a clinical researcher at Helios ENDO‑Klinik Hamburg (2021–2022), focusing on advanced joint surgery and prosthetic infections. He also worked as a clinical researcher at Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli, Bologna (2014), focusing on arthroscopic joint surgery, meniscus, and cartilage. In 2013, he held the same role at ATOS Clinic Heidelberg.
Clinical interests include joint surgery, knee and hip surgery, prosthetic infections, meniscus and cartilage surgery, and regenerative medicine.
Dr. Suleyman Bulent Bektaser is a professor of orthopedics at Private Koru Ankara Hospital. He specializes in robotic knee prosthesis and complex joint replacement surgery. Dr. Bektaser serves as a lecturer and has published numerous scientific articles on skeletal trauma. He works at a JCI-accredited facility that treats 350,000 patients annually.
