My strongest feeling right now is one of being disappointed and scammed. The total costs nearly doubled, jumping from the $2000 USD Bookimed total to $5000 once I was at the clinic. The fractional CO2 laser treatment I received on my face and neck also wasn't what I originally requested; the doctor suggested changing it only after I had already arrived, which should have been communicated much earlier. While the clinic staff themselves were fine and have stayed in touch, the experience with the surgeon and the finances was poor. Make sure the treatment promised on Bookimed is the same one you're getting at the clinic. I would avoid this dermatologist and Wansiri.
The customer service at the clinic was great and the staff was very kind.
Patient Complaint Regarding Treatment Plan and Communication at Wansiri I am documenting my concerns regarding the communication, treatment planning, and services I received at Wansiri. Before my appointment, I specifically requested the following treatments: * Ablative CO2 laser treatment for the full face and décolletage * Ultherapy for the full face The estimated total cost discussed was approximately USD 2,000. The doctor agreed to this proposed treatment plan, and I confirmed that I wished to proceed based on that agreement. However, on the day of the scheduled treatment, the doctor informed me that she did not want to perform any CO2 laser treatment on my face. This was a significant change from the treatment plan that had previously been discussed and agreed upon. Instead, the doctor and coordinator recommended a different package consisting of: * Thermage treatment around the eyes * Ultherapy for the full face * Microneedling The revised package cost approximately USD 5,000, which was more than double the original estimate. My primary concerns were not adequately addressed. In particular: * No CO2 laser treatment was performed on my face. * No treatment was provided for my décolletage. * The crepey skin around my eyes, which was one of my main concerns, was not adequately addressed. * The treatment plan was substantially changed on the day of the procedure, after I had already traveled to and committed to receiving treatment at the clinic. * The reasons for changing the original treatment plan were not clearly explained before the appointment. * I was presented with considerably more expensive alternatives without adequate time to consider the change or seek another medical opinion. I relied on the doctor’s prior agreement when deciding to proceed with treatment at Wansiri. Had I been informed in advance that the doctor would not perform CO2 laser treatment on my face or décolletage, I could have reconsidered the appointment, consulted another provider, or made a more informed decision. As a result, I felt pressured into accepting a treatment package that was significantly more expensive than the original estimate and that did not adequately address the skin concerns for which I sought treatment. I left feeling that the communication had been misleading and that I had not received the treatment plan I had originally agreed to. I believe communication between the doctor, coordinator, and patient should be improved. Any changes to an agreed treatment plan, particularly changes involving substantially different procedures and costs, should be clearly communicated before the patient arrives for treatment. I am requesting a written explanation of: 1. Why the originally agreed CO2 laser treatment was declined on the day of treatment. 2. Why I was not informed of this change before the appointment. 3. Why no treatment was provided for my décolletage. 4. How the recommended treatments were intended to address the crepey skin around my eyes. 5. Why the final cost increased from approximately USD 2,000 to approximately USD 5,000. 6. What resolution or compensation the clinic proposes regarding the difference between the agreed treatment plan and the services ultimately provided.

If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.
Josh and team had fantastic thorough communication
Not sure... give me extra stem cells. Maybe have more food?

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about MOXI Laser Treatment in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is MOXI laser treatment in Thailand and how does it work?

MOXI laser treatment in Thailand is a non-ablative fractional laser that refreshes skin by boosting collagen and treating pigmentation. It involves multiple sessions and up to a week of recovery. The 1927nm FDA-approved laser works without harming the skin’s surface.

  • Treatment method: Uses 1927nm fractional laser for skin resurfacing.
  • Sessions: Typically three sessions, each about a month apart.
  • Recovery time: Up to 7 days with redness and skin flaking.
  • Pain and sensation: Described as painful, like severe sunburn lasting hours.
  • Effectiveness: Reduces hyperpigmentation, refines texture, and shrinks pores.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Thai clinics offer MOXI as a maintenance treatment, but expect downtime and pain. Australian patients should plan for spaced sessions and full recovery breaks. Clinics with hospital-grade numbing creams can improve comfort. Choosing experienced providers avoids issues like fat loss from high laser settings.

Patient Consensus: Patients report notable improvement in pigmentation and skin feel after several sessions in Thailand. The redness and peeling are intense but temporary, with results showing a month after treatment ends. Proper aftercare limits pigment return.

Is MOXI laser treatment in Thailand safe for all skin types?

MOXI laser treatment in Thailand is generally safe for all skin types, including darker tones. It uses a non-ablative fractional laser targeting skin water, reducing pigmentation risks. Clinics follow international standards, and treatment involves multiple sessions with topical numbing.

  • Laser type: Non-ablative fractional laser suitable for melasma and dark skin.
  • Sessions: Usually three treatments spaced about a month apart.
  • Safety factors: Operator experience with diverse skin tones is critical.
  • Recovery: Flaky, peeling skin like a chemical peel for a few days after.
  • Precautions: Patch test recommended to check skin reaction first.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics in Thailand offering MOXI usually treat Asian and darker skin types often. Confirming their experience with before-and-after photos can reduce pigmentation risks. Multiple sessions and patch tests ensure safety and better results for diverse skin tones.

Patient Consensus: Patients say MOXI in Thailand feels gentle with numbing cream and works well on melasma. They advise checking clinic experience for darker skin and expect a few days of flaky skin after treatment.

What skin concerns does MOXI laser treatment in Thailand address?

MOXI laser treatment in Thailand targets sun damage, pigmentation, melasma, enlarged pores, acne scars, and uneven skin texture. It uses a non-ablative fractional laser to refresh the skin with minimal downtime. Results usually show 1 to 3 months after multiple sessions.

  • Sun damage and pigmentation: reduces age spots and uneven tone using 1927nm wavelength.
  • Skin texture: smooths uneven surface and shrinks enlarged pores.
  • Melasma maintenance: helps manage pigment with specialist consultation advised.
  • Acne scars: improves mild scarring and refines overall skin radiance.
  • Recovery timeline: results appear gradually after multiple sessions over months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Most patients need about 3 sessions spaced a month apart for pigment clearance. Clinics in Bangkok, such as Preecha Aesthetic Institute, provide experienced care but require strict sun protection to avoid pigment return. Specialist advice is crucial for darker skin types.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand say MOXI refreshes skin tone and texture well. They notice gradual fading of sun spots and melasma with repeated treatments. Some found the treatment best suits sun damage rather than fine lines or redness.

How long does MOXI laser treatment in Thailand take and what is the typical downtime?

MOXI laser sessions in Thailand typically take 25–30 minutes each. Downtime lasts about 7 days, with redness, sensitivity, and skin flaking common. Full results appear after 2–3 months. Multiple sessions spaced a month apart are usually required for sun damage or pigment problems.

  • Session duration: 25–30 minutes including prep and treatment.
  • Recovery timeline: About 7 days of redness, sensitivity and crusting ("mends").
  • Skin flaking: Lasts until Day 9, safe to wear makeup after that.
  • Results timeline: Full effects visible 2–3 months post-treatment.
  • Sessions needed: Usually 3–4 sessions spaced one month apart.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand offers 147 clinics for MOXI treatment, with many patients choosing multiple sessions. Expect to be housebound for a week due to skin sensitivity, so planning recovery time is essential. Bangkok clinics tend to focus on both pigment correction and skin texture improvement.

Patient Consensus: Patients find the recovery involves noticeable redness and peeling for about a week in Thailand. The skin glows noticeably once flaking ends. Most say the visible skin improvements after sessions make the week off well worth it.

Where can I get MOXI laser treatment in Thailand?

MOXI laser treatment is available in Bangkok, Thailand, notably at Preecha Aesthetic Institute. This non-surgical Sciton MOXI laser resurfaces skin with minimal downtime and requires about three sessions for the best results. Visible improvements typically appear 1 to 3 months after treatment.

  • Clinic option: Preecha Aesthetic Institute in Bangkok offers MOXI laser treatment.
  • Laser type: Uses authentic Sciton MOXI laser for gentle skin resurfacing.
  • Treatment course: Usually three sessions, spaced about a month apart.
  • Recovery: Downtime lasts a few days with swelling and skin darkening.
  • Results timeline: Most see skin texture or pigmentation improvement after 1–3 months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics in Bangkok offering MOXI laser often lack online reviews, so confirming the use of the real Sciton device is key. Multiple sessions are standard, so budget time and care accordingly. The procedure requires no hospital stay and suits those wanting quick recovery with sustained skin rejuvenation.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report noticeable skin lightening and smoothing after completing all sessions. They stress checking that clinics use the official Sciton MOXI laser. Downtime is brief, but follow-up skin care and avoiding heat help maintain results.
