How Much Does Fraxel Laser Treatment Cost in Thailand in AUD?

Fraxel Laser Treatment in Thailand typically ranges from AUD $435 / ฿A14,796 to AUD $870 / ฿A29,593. The total cost depends on the treatment area size and clinic location. In Australia, patients often pay AUD $1,306 / ฿A44,389 for similar laser procedures. Choosing Thailand can result in savings of up to 44%. Most sessions include an initial skin consultation and topical numbing cream.

  • Targeted zones: Smaller areas like the eyes or mouth cost significantly less.
  • Full-face sessions: Often provide better overall value than treating multiple separate zones.
  • Multi-session bundles: Booking a course of five sessions can reduce costs by 40%.
  • Regional pricing: Bangkok clinics often charge 15–20% more than clinics in Chiang Mai.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Bangkok is the primary hub, regional cities offer excellent competitive rates. Preecha Aesthetic Institute in Bangkok serves as a leader in aesthetic medicine within the region. Australian patients often find it more economical to book multi-session packages. These bundles frequently include post-procedure care products rarely bundled in standard Australian quotes. Focusing on accredited clinics in Bangkok provides the most consistent clinical results.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 14 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.

Not sure... give me extra stem cells. Maybe have more food?

If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Fraxel Laser Treatment in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is Fraxel Laser Treatment in Thailand?

Fraxel laser treatment in Thailand is a non-surgical, multi-session skin resurfacing method used to reduce acne scars, sun damage, and fine lines. It stimulates new collagen growth through fractional laser technology. Full recovery takes several months and typically requires 3–5 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart.

  • Procedure type: Fractional laser resurfacing for deep and superficial skin issues.
  • Sessions: Usually 3–5 treatments recommended for best results.
  • Recovery timeline: Several months, especially if combined with subcision.
  • Clinics: Popular options include Thanya Clinic, Bumrungrad, Thai Nakharin, Mingkwan.
  • Skin concerns: Treats pigmentation, enlarged pores, and various scars effectively.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics catering to international patients often have English-speaking dermatologists, making communication easier. Deep scars usually need combined treatments like subcision, which can lengthen recovery but improve results. Prices are notably less than Australia, with sessions roughly A$414 to A$830, making Thailand a cost-effective choice for multi-session Fraxel care.

Patient Consensus: Patients highlight clear English communication and effective treatment for acne scars in Thailand. Most find 3–5 sessions necessary, appreciating convenient scheduling with minimal downtime during recovery. Combining Fraxel with other treatments is common for better scar improvement.

What skin conditions can Fraxel Laser Treatment address in Thailand?

Fraxel laser treatment in Thailand targets acne scars, pigmentation, skin texture, wrinkles, and surgical scars. Clinics use fractional CO₂ and UltraClear lasers for deep skin renewal, improving tone and smoothing uneven skin. Healing takes 5–7 days with follow-up protection against sun damage.

  • Acne scars: reduces moderate to severe scarring with fractional CO₂ laser.
  • Pigmentation: treats sun spots, age spots, and uneven skin tone effectively.
  • Skin texture: improves large pores and smooths rough surfaces.
  • Wrinkles and fine lines: softens early ageing signs gradually.
  • Surgical scars: smooths scars from operations or accidents using ablative lasers.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s clinics combine fractional laser types to match scar depth and skin needs. Multiple sessions, typically three, are common for solid results. Healing guidelines, including 3–4 weeks of sun avoidance, emphasise recovery importance. Clinics remain popular for offering effective treatments well below Australian prices.

Patient Consensus: Patients highlight clear acne scar reduction and smoother skin after three sessions in Thailand. Healing feels like a sunburn and requires careful sun protection. Many commend the lasting improvement in skin tone and reduced pores.

What is the downtime and recovery like after Fraxel Laser Treatment in Thailand?

Fraxel laser treatment downtime in Thailand is about 7 days with skin resembling severe sunburn. Redness and sensitivity last 3–4 weeks, while full skin healing and collagen benefits take months. Follow-up and touch-ups are common, with clinics offering English-speaking doctors to assist international patients.

  • Healing period: Initial downtime is about 7 days with redness and swelling.
  • Skin sensitivity: Redness can last 3–4 weeks; strict sun protection is vital.
  • Appearance changes: Skin feels dry, tight, then peels naturally after treatment.
  • Follow-up: Many clinics provide follow-up checks and free touch-ups if needed.
  • Patient care: Use healing balms, sleep elevated, and avoid harsh skin care.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics in Bangkok like Preecha Aesthetic Institute focus on true Fraxel DUAL ablative laser, which causes moderate downtime but delivers noticeable skin rejuvenation. Many clinics offer English-speaking staff and follow-up services, making recovery smoother for Australians. Staying in Thailand for at least a week post-procedure helps manage healing comfortably.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report the first week feels like a severe sunburn with tight, dry skin. They recommend avoiding makeup early, using healing balms, and taking sun protection seriously. The gradual skin peeling leads to refreshed skin after about a week.

How many Fraxel Laser Treatment sessions are usually needed in Thailand?

Fraxel laser treatment in Thailand usually requires 3 to 5 sessions, spaced 3–4 weeks apart. Non-ablative fractional lasers need multiple sessions for collagen remodelling. Ablative CO₂ fractional lasers, recommended for deeper scars, also require 3 to 5 sessions but with longer recovery.

  • Sessions needed: 3–5 for most skin concerns, including scars and wrinkles.
  • Treatment spacing: 3–4 weeks between sessions to allow skin healing.
  • Downtime: Redness and peeling last 4–7 days after each session.
  • Minor pigmentation: May improve with 1–2 sessions.
  • Clinic choice: Bangkok and Phuket offer specialised multi-session Fraxel packages.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s affordable prices make it easy to complete full Fraxel courses. Clinics often tailor sessions based on skin type and device used, as some fractional lasers vary in strength and recovery intensity. This flexibility helps balance results with downtime.

Patient Consensus: Most patients see good skin improvement after 2–3 sessions. Many note that redness and peeling are manageable and short-lived. Patients appreciate Thailand’s skilled clinics and reasonable wait times between treatments.

What is the difference between Fraxel Laser Treatment and Clear + Brilliant in Thailand?

Fraxel in Thailand is a stronger laser that treats deep sun damage and acne scars with 5–7 days downtime. Clear + Brilliant is a gentler option for early signs of ageing, offering minimal downtime and needing more sessions for gradual skin glow and texture improvement.

  • Intensity: Fraxel penetrates deep, Clear + Brilliant is superficial and mild.
  • Recovery: Fraxel causes swelling and peeling lasting over a week.
  • Sessions: Clear + Brilliant requires 6–10+ treatments for results.
  • Usage: Fraxel treats advanced skin damage; Clear + Brilliant suits younger or maintenance skin.
  • Sun protection: Both need strict sun avoidance for 6–12 months post-treatment.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many clinics in Bangkok offer both lasers, but Fraxel suits those needing bold correction while Clear + Brilliant fits patients wanting no downtime. Fraxel’s longer healing requires social recovery, so planning time off is wise. Clear + Brilliant patients must commit to many sessions for a noticeable difference.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand say Fraxel delivers fast, visible results but involves a week of redness. Clear + Brilliant feels gentle with little or no downtime but demands patience and repeated visits to build glow and smoothness.

Which clinics in Thailand are known for providing Fraxel Laser Treatment?

Several Bangkok clinics and Bumrungrad International Hospital are known for Fraxel Laser Treatment. Clinics like Danai Skin Clinic and Mingkwan Clinic offer CO₂ fractional lasers similar to Fraxel technology, with English-speaking staff and free follow-up visits for best results.

  • Mingkwan Clinic: offers CO₂ fractional laser, free follow-up visits, English-speaking staff.
  • Danai Skin Clinic: board-certified dermatologists, multiple branches near BTS stations, no hard selling.
  • Thanya Clinic: English-speaking physician, specialised in deep acne scarring with Fraxel laser.
  • Bumrungrad Hospital: hospital-grade dermatology, plastic surgeon consultations for severe cases.
  • Fraxel treatment usually involves 3–4 sessions and months of recovery.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics with English-speaking staff and free follow-ups, like Mingkwan Clinic, offer strong value for Australians. Danai Skin Clinic stands out with convenient BTS locations and ethical pricing. Bumrungrad Hospital is ideal for complex cases needing surgeon input.

Patient Consensus: Patients praise Bangkok clinics for clear communication and no pushy sales tactics. Free follow-ups and experienced dermatologists reassure Australians seeking Fraxel laser in Thailand.
