How Much Does Emax veneers Cost in Thailand in AUD?

Emax veneers in Thailand typically cost from AUD $577 / ฿A19,604 to AUD $721 / ฿A24,505, depending on the number of units and clinic location. In Australia, similar treatments average AUD $2,162 / ฿A73,516, meaning Australians can save approximately 73% by travelling. Standard inclusions often cover the initial consultation, local anaesthetic, and a professional bite adjustment after the veneers are bonded.

  • Number of units: Higher volumes like 16–20 units often qualify for significant per-tooth discounts.
  • Main dental hubs: Pricing remains competitive across major clinics in Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai.
  • Technological adds: Treatments using CAD/CAM for same-day results typically involve a 20–30% price premium.
  • Specialist expertise: Clinics with Western-trained prosthodontists or in-house labs often charge mid-to-high range rates.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Australian patients frequently choose SmileBox or Kitcha Dental Clinic for their high international volume. Significant value lies in clinics with in-house laboratories, like Hachi Dental Clinic. These facilities use Ivoclar-trained technicians to craft custom restorations on-site. This often reduces the need for multiple visits while maintaining high aesthetic quality for full smile makeovers.

What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it
What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it. My biggest fear was not understanding the treatment plan or feeling rushed, but that wasn’t the case at all. The dentist was very patient and took the time to explain each step to me in detail. It was reassuring. The overall organisation ran smoothly and the whole clinic team were professional and happy to answer my questions. Coordination via Bookimed simplified the whole process, which helped reduce the stress of having a medical appointment abroad. I left with clear information and a good overall impression.

I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism
Hello everyone, like many other people before an operation, I wasn't feeling very well. The staff at the clinic immediately reassured and accompanied me. Believe me or not, I didn't feel a thing. The dental surgeon fitted the 2 implants in 40 minutes, and I had no infections whatsoever. My Bookimed advisor (Péguy) was with me from the start and is still with me today. I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism. Sylvain B.

The wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care
It is a clean hospital and the wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care. The dentist and dental personnel can speak fluent English which is important for most people like I. For wisdom teeth extraction the cost was 20000 baht for 4 teeth( including medication and nurse charge), but it all depends if the teeth has impacted. I would highly recommend the clinic.

FAQ about Emax veneers in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What are the safety and quality standards for Emax veneers in Thailand clinics?

Emax veneers in Thailand adhere to international quality standards. Many facilities are JCI-accredited or ISO-certified. Surgeons use authentic Ivoclar Vivadent materials and digital workflows. This includes intraoral scanning and CAD/CAM technology. Many specialists hold postgraduate qualifications from the UK, USA, or Australia for high safety benchmarks.

  • Accredited facilities: Top centres like Chiangmai Ram Hospital maintain JCI accreditation for hospital-grade safety.
  • Material authenticity: Clinics like Hachi Dental use genuine Ivoclar materials with Ivoclar-trained lab technicians.
  • Digital technology: Specialists use intraoral scanners and 3D printing for precise, minimally invasive tooth preparation.
  • Quality management: Facilities such as Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic follow ISO 9001:2015 standards for infection control.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics with in-house laboratories, such as Hachi Dental Clinic, offer better control over veneer shading and fit. These facilities often employ technicians specifically trained by material manufacturers like Ivoclar. This workflow reduces the risk of fitting errors compared to clinics that outsource lab work.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand recommend choosing established multi-dentist hospitals over small practices for consistent safety. They suggest requesting material certificates and digital smile previews to guarantee the final result matches expectations.

Are Emax veneers in Thailand a painful procedure?

Getting Emax veneers in Thailand is generally not painful. Dentists use local anaesthesia to numb the area. Specialists use minimally invasive techniques that require less tooth reduction than traditional porcelain. This preserves enamel and reduces sensitivity after the procedure.

  • Anaesthesia use: Local anaesthetic helps patients feel only pressure rather than sharp pain.
  • Minimal preparation: Emax veneers are ultra-thin, requiring less drilling of the natural tooth.
  • Sedation options: Clinics like SmileBox Dental Clinic offer sedation for patients with dental anxiety.
  • Digital planning: Centres use digital smile design to plan precise, comfortable fits.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many patients overlook the importance of an in-house laboratory for comfort. Clinics like Hachi Dental and Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic use on-site labs and CEREC technology. This allows for immediate adjustments if a veneer feels tight or uneven. It also avoids the discomfort of poorly fitted temporaries.

Patient Consensus: Patients report well-controlled appointments. Most discomfort occurs as a temporary tightness or sensitivity once the anaesthetic wears off. Clear communication with staff regarding tooth reduction helps prevent surprises during recovery.

How long do Emax veneers performed in Thailand typically last?

Emax veneers in Thailand typically last 10 to 15 years. This premium lithium disilicate material is known for high strength and stain resistance. Longevity depends on specialist skill. Many Bangkok clinics use digital workflows and standards set by the JCI (Joint Commission International). This helps them match Australian quality.

  • Premium material: Emax lithium disilicate provides superior durability compared to standard porcelain.
  • Clinical standards: Leading facilities like Chiangmai Ram Hospital maintain JCI accreditation for safety.
  • Digital precision: Clinics use intraoral scanning and 3D printing for a precise fit.
  • Expertise: Surgeons like Dr. Pongkarn Kanjanawattana hold degrees from institutions like King's College London.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many assume laboratory work is outsourced. However, clinics like Hachi Dental and Bangkok Smile operate in-house labs. Technicians can hand-finish veneers on-site. This often results in better bonding and a longer lifespan than mass-produced alternatives.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand find that veneers last over a decade. Even so, using a night guard is essential if you grind your teeth. Proper home care and regular check-ups help ensure these restorations remain a long-term solution.

What is the typical itinerary for getting Emax veneers in Thailand?

Emax veneers in Thailand usually require 7 to 10 days. This schedule includes smile design, tooth preparation, and laboratory fabrication. Clinics like SmileBox Dental Clinic use digital workflows for precision. Patients can save up to 73% compared to the $1,500 Australian average.

  1. Initial consultation: Specialists perform digital imaging and 3D scans to plan the new smile.
  2. Tooth preparation: Dentists remove a thin enamel layer and fit temporary veneers for protection.
  3. Lab fabrication: Technicians at in-house labs craft custom Emax veneers over 3 to 5 days.
  4. Final bonding: The dentist removes temporaries and permanently secures the Emax veneers.
  5. Bite adjustment: A final check ensures the bite is comfortable and veneers are polished.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Most clinics require 7 days. However, Hachi Dental Clinic and A.B. Dental Studio use CEREC CAD/CAM technology. These systems can sometimes reduce the itinerary to 24 hours for straightforward cases. This eliminates the need for temporary veneers and multiple clinical visits.

Patient Consensus: Patients recommend getting a full set of X-rays from a local GP before flying. This avoids redundant testing. It also helps confirm if the preferred natural shade is achievable within 7 days.

What are the benefits of choosing Emax veneers for a dental trip to Thailand?

Choosing Emax veneers in Thailand provides durable, natural-looking aesthetics at significantly lower price points. High-volume clinics in Bangkok and Chiang Mai use lithium disilicate ceramic for strength. These clinics require minimal tooth preparation for conservative smile makeovers in JCI-accredited or ISO-certified facilities.

  • Substantial savings: Costs range from $400 to $500, saving up to 80% over Australian averages.
  • International training: Specialists like Dr Pongkarn Kanjanawattana hold postgraduate degrees from King's College London.
  • Rapid turnaround: In-house digital labs and CEREC technology at Phuket clinics enable same-day restorations.
  • Global standards: Leading facilities maintain JCI accreditation or ISO 9001:2015 quality management systems.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many patients focus on Bangkok, Chiang Mai clinics like Kitcha Dental have served 10,000+ patients annually since 1980. These established centres often employ American Dental Association members. This provides a high level of clinical oversight that rivals top-tier Australian practices.

Patient Consensus: Patients often report the total trip cost is lower than local treatment. They appreciate the modern clinics, natural front-tooth results, and organised communication throughout Thailand.

Is it possible to complete a full smile makeover with Emax veneers in Thailand?

Full smile makeovers with Emax veneers are widely available across Thailand. Specialised clinics in Bangkok, Phuket, and Chiang Mai use digital smile design and CAD/CAM technology. These tools help complete multi-tooth restorations. These clinics regularly perform full-arch treatments for Australian patients within 5 to 14 days.

  • Specialist expertise: Dr Pongkarn Kanjanawattana at Hachi Dental has performed 400+ smile makeover cases.
  • Modern technology: Clinics use intraoral scanning and 3D dental printing for precise veneer fitting.
  • In-house labs: Facilities like Hachi Dental Clinic have onsite labs to speed up fabrication.
  • Accredited facilities: Chiangmai Ram Hospital holds JCI accreditation, a recognised global quality benchmark.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bookimed data shows several Thai clinics, such as Hachi Dental, employ prosthodontists. Many hold prestigious British degrees from King's College London. These specialists oversee in-house laboratories. Technicians there are specifically trained by Ivoclar, the manufacturer of Emax. This structure often results in faster turnarounds and more accurate shade matching compared to clinics that outsource lab work.

Patient Consensus: Patients report successful multi-tooth makeovers in Thailand. They recommend using reputable clinics that provide transparent, itemised quotes in English. Most contributors suggest requesting shade previews or try-ins. This helps the final result look natural rather than overly white.
