How Much Does Stem cell therapy for autism Cost in Turkey in AUD?

Stem cell therapy for autism in Turkey typically costs from AUD $8,561 to AUD $17,266. Prices depend on the cell type used, session numbers, and the specific clinic's laboratory technology. In Australia, families often face significantly higher out-of-pocket expenses, costing AUD $29,252 on average. By choosing Turkey, Australians can save approximately 56%. Standard packages often include specialist consultations, stem cell processing, and VIP airport transfers.

  • Cell source: Using donor-derived cells versus autologous cells from the patient impacts the total processing fees.
  • Treatment frequency: Multi-session protocols typically increase the total cost by 15–25% compared to single-injection treatments.
  • Hospital tier: Premium facilities in Istanbul often charge more due to advanced GMP-certified laboratory standards.
  • Location: Medical hubs like Istanbul and Antalya offer competitive pricing due to a high volume of international patients.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic with an on-site lab provides better value and quality control. NP Istanbul Brain Hospital, for instance, operates as a specialised neuropsychiatric centre with dedicated brain function measurement therapy. Leading experts like Professor Erdal Karaöz have established some of Turkey's first GMP-standard labs. This level of vertical integration often results in more reliable cell viability without the markup of external laboratories.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 42 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

This created an impression of a professional and well-prepared approach
Our son is 6 years old and has been diagnosed with ASD. We arrived at Memorial Şişli Clinic on Monday. On the same day, we had a consultation with Dr. Betül Tavil. The doctor carefully examined our son and immediately began asking questions, to which she seemed to already have some answers. This created an impression of a professional and well-prepared approach. After the consultation, the doctor recommended stem cell therapy. With our consent, the cells were ordered immediately, considering they would be delivered to the clinic within three days. On the same day, we provided four vials of blood. Three days later, the stem cell administration procedure took place. The total dose consisted of 50 million cells: 1% was administered into the spinal cord, and the remainder was given via intravenous infusion. The procedure itself lasted approximately 10–15 minutes and went smoothly. Afterward, a supportive IV drip was administered to the child. Overall, we stayed in the hospital for about 4–4.5 hours, after which we were discharged. At this point, we have observed no side effects in the child.
Prompt service, and the doctor, Betul Tavil, is very personable and I confidently say she is truly a professional in her field.
About Bookimed service
Our experience collaborating with Bookimed was very pleasant. Communication was easy and clear — our messages were always answered promptly, all issues were explained in detail, and helpful advice was provided. When necessary, Bookimed representatives contacted us by phone, which was particularly convenient and reassuring. It felt like they genuinely wanted to help us, rather than just respond formally. Thank you to the Bookimed team for your support, attentiveness, and human approach. We are left with only positive impressions.
