How Much Does Vaser 3 Areas + Tummy Tuck Cost in Thailand in AUD?

A Vaser 3 areas + tummy tuck in Thailand typically costs between AUD $7,978 / ฿A271,265 and AUD $12,330 / ฿A419,227. Final pricing depends on the surgical technique, such as a mini versus full tummy tuck, and the clinic location. In Australia, patients often pay AUD $28,287 / ฿A961,757 for these procedures. By choosing Thailand, Australians can save approximately 64%. Standard packages usually include hospital stays, anaesthetic, compression garments, and airport transfers.

  • Procedure technique: Full abdominoplasty requires more theatre time than a mini tummy tuck.
  • Liposuction volume: Upgrading from three areas to full 360-degree contouring adds 20–30% to costs.
  • Body Mass Index: Many clinics apply tiered pricing for patients over 80kg or 90kg.
  • Technology premium: Vaser-assisted ultrasound technology typically adds a 10–15% premium over traditional liposuction methods.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand is a top choice for Australians due to high success rates and JCI-accredited care. For instance, Wansiri Hospital reports a 99% success rate for combined tummy tuck and liposuction. Packages starting around A$8,500 often include hospital stays and professional medical tests. Experienced surgeons like Dr Siripong Luxanawong at ID Clinic Bangkok specialise specifically in these complex body contouring combinations.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 174 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care
Monsplaty, Tummy Tuck and 360 Liposuction. My biggest concern going into this was what the recovery would actually feel like. It's not easy. The most challenging part has definitely been the constant tight feeling, which is something to be prepared for. My surgeon used a combination of liposuction and excision. Right now there is still some swelling, so it’s too early to know how my clothes will fit differently in the end. Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care. It was a professional and supportive environment, and I'm glad I made the choice to go there.
Very clean, very inviting. After care was good too. Everything was quick and easy. Communication via whatsapp made things easier as well. I travelled solo and the staff helped that little extra.
After surgery garments are not forgiving for us longer torso people. They were a bit short which added a lil discomfort when it rolled at the back. Other than that everything was really good.

My surgeon was excellent, a definite 5/5
If you're considering a tummy tuck, know that the recovery is a real process. My surgeon was excellent, a definite 5/5. He performed a full tuck and repositioned my belly button, and everything already feels very tight, which is good. My biggest challenge right now is the compression garment; it's just a constant presence. While the surgeon was fantastic, there were some minor organizational points with the clinic and staff that could have been smoother. It's still too early to see the final flat result with all the healing left to do, but I feel confident in my choice. I would give this clinic a 9/10 recommendation to a friend.
The doctor he is excellent .soft spoken ,attentive and a great surgeon.
Rooms could be bigger so that attendant could stay at night. They have a reclining sofa not suitable for night sleeping. Front desk managers could be more attentive to every detail.

My biggest surprise is the lack of results. Although I am only just beginning my recovery, my skin is already much looser than I expected after such a procedure. The hardest part so far has been the visibility of the bruises, which were very extensive. I have to admit: the staff were decent. However, communication with the surgeon was virtually non-existent, to the extent that I’m not even sure which technique was used. The clinic’s overall organisation was also poor. I would absolutely not recommend this clinic.

I chose not to use the services at all. I was working with book med for months looked at the pictures of the hospital, but when I got there and actually saw the hospital, it was dirty. The room where you take. The pictures looks dirty unorganized so what would the operating room look like? I pay the consultant fee, but the doctor never touched me. Never put his hands on me. Just looked at my pictures and I'm in the room so you need to fix that.
About Bookimed service
Tiffany and Whitington, the coordinators were fine. Got all the information. It was the dirtiness of the hospital and the unprofessionalism of the doctor. He looks sloppy like he didn't have time like I said before he never even touched me so I paid a consultation fee for a conversation about nothing, not happy

I am more than satisfied for the price and can highly recommend the clinic
The staff are very friendly and make you feel really comfortable. It is sometimes a bit difficult to communicate in the clinic as not every member of staff speaks English well, but it's not a big problem. I was very nervous before my tummy tuck but the nurse was really responsive to me. Contact is always via WhatsApp, which is very convenient. I am driven to the clinic every 2 days and the clinic covers the travel costs. Everything is also included. I am more than satisfied for the price and can highly recommend the clinic.

There is very weak communication gap between the Doctor and no explanation of the procedure. The clinic should in detail the procedures they will be performing. It would be better if possible to show a before and after video presented to the patient so that the patient can easily see what is going on.
I didn't like the neck lift done. I am concerned. One thing the neck lift was supposed to be minor bur for some reason my ears are also effected. I have two big lumps on either side of my ears and I have extra skin where I didn't have before..

FAQ about Vaser 3 Areas + Tummy Tuck in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Is it safe to combine Vaser liposuction and a tummy tuck in Thailand?

Combining Vaser liposuction and a tummy tuck in Thailand is safe. It must be performed in JCI-accredited hospitals by board-certified plastic surgeons. This single-stage approach addresses fat and skin laxity together. Safety is maintained through Clean Room-standard theatres and specialist anaesthetist supervision. Hospitals also require stays for monitoring vital signs.

  • Accredited facilities: Hospitals like Wansiri or Bumrungrad maintain JCI or ISO standards.
  • Expert surgeons: Specialists like Dr Ajchariya Sarovath hold international fellowships and board certifications.
  • Surgical technology: Clean Room theatres with filtered air minimise infection risk during surgery.
  • High volume: Leading centres manage 2,000 to over 1,000,000 international patients annually.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s top-tier facilities stand out through surgical infrastructure rather than just price. Clinics like Wansiri Hospital use automated touchless features and air filtration to reduce infection risk. These hospital-grade environments are essential for combined procedures. They support longer operative times and higher recovery needs.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report that hospital-based care with overnight monitoring provides peace of mind. They suggest being conservative with liposuction areas to manage swelling. They also recommend having a clear plan for drain management before returning home.

Am I a suitable candidate for a combined Vaser liposuction and tummy tuck in Thailand?

Suitable candidates for combined Vaser liposuction and tummy tuck in Thailand generally have excess abdominal skin and separated stomach muscles. They also have stubborn fat deposits. Surgeons typically require a stable weight and a Body Mass Index (BMI) under 30. This helps provide safety and the best contouring results during the 6-hour procedure.

  • BMI requirements: Most Bangkok clinics require a BMI under 30 for safe anaesthesia.
  • Skin condition: Candidates must have loose or sagging skin that liposuction alone cannot treat.
  • Muscle repair: The procedure is ideal for those with rectus diastasis or separated abdominal muscles.
  • Smoking status: Patients must stop smoking before surgery to prevent serious wound-healing complications.
  • Weight stability: Candidates should be at their goal weight for at least 6 months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from 2,600+ patient requests shows a trend toward choosing JCI-accredited facilities like Asia Cosmetic Hospital or Bumrungrad International. These centres use cardiologists to supervise combined surgeries. This is vital when performing Vaser and abdominoplasty together. Surgeons like Dr Tanongsak Panyawirunroj have performed 15,000+ procedures. This provides the high-volume experience necessary for complex body contouring.

Patient Consensus: Many Australians in Thailand found that Vaser refined their waistline better than standard liposuction alone. They suggest a 14-day stay to manage drains and early reviews before flying home.

What is the recommended recovery period in Thailand for a tummy tuck and Vaser procedure?

Full healing for a combined tummy tuck and Vaser procedure in Thailand typically takes 4 to 8 weeks. Patients usually stay in the country for at least 14 days to manage surgical drains. They also use this time to attend wound checks. Most return to sedentary office work within 2 weeks.

  • Hospital stay: Specialists typically require a 2-night stay for pain management and monitoring.
  • Return to work: Desk-based employees generally resume duties after 14 days of rest.
  • Physical activity: Patients should avoid heavy lifting and strenuous exercise for 3 weeks minimum.
  • Flight safety: Surgeons recommend a 14-day local stay to reduce deep vein thrombosis risks.
  • Clinical results: Leading clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok report a 95–96% success rate.

Bookimed Expert Insight: High-volume centres like Asia Cosmetic Hospital often use multidisciplinary teams. These teams include cardiologists to monitor combined cases. While Vaser is less invasive, combining it with a tummy tuck increases the surgical load. Choosing a hospital with specialised air filtration, like Wansiri Hospital, can further support recovery.

Patient Consensus: Patients travel to Thailand with a 14-day buffer to ensure drains are removed comfortably. Most feel physically ready for travel by week 2. This is provided they avoid long walking distances at airports.

What is the permanent nature of the results from a Vaser liposuction and tummy tuck in Thailand?

Results from a combined Vaser liposuction and tummy tuck in Thailand are permanent. These procedures physically remove fat cells and excess skin that cannot regrow. Maintaining a stable weight preserves the newly sculpted abdominal contour and repaired muscles. These results then remain effective throughout the natural ageing process.

  • Fat cell removal: Vaser technology permanently destroys treated fat cells using ultrasonic energy.
  • Excess skin excision: Surgeons remove sagging skin forever during the abdominoplasty phase.
  • Muscle repair: Tightly sutured abdominal muscles create a permanent internal corset effect.
  • Long-term contouring: Results typically cost $5,500 to $8,500 in Thailand.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s high-volume centres often use specialised techniques to enhance permanence. For example, ID Clinic Bangkok incorporates stem cell therapy into tummy tucks to improve healing. Data shows specialists like Dr Tanongsak Panyawirunroj have performed 15,000+ procedures. This highlights the deep technical expertise available for achieving durable results.

Patient Consensus: Patients describe the surgery in Thailand as a physical reset for their body shape. They found that weight maintenance and wearing compression garments preserved their new, tighter abdominal profile.

What should I expect regarding the scars from a tummy tuck in Thailand?

Tummy tuck scars in Thailand sit low on the abdomen to stay hidden beneath underwear or swimwear. A horizontal incision usually runs between the hip bones. Surgeons use careful suturing and sometimes stem cell therapy to help scars heal as thin, flat lines.

  • Bikini placement: Surgeons position incisions very low so they stay concealed by standard Australian swimwear.
  • Healing timeline: Scars appear red and raised initially but typically fade significantly over 6–12 months.
  • Biological adjuncts: Leading centres like ID Clinic Bangkok use stem cell therapy to improve tissue healing.
  • Infection control: Wansiri Hospital uses Clean Room theatres with specialised filtration to lower scar-complicating risks.
  • Specialised suturing: Specialists at JCI-accredited facilities use absorbable stitches and skin adhesives for thinner results.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many patients focus on scar length. However, Bookimed data shows that surgical volume is the best predictor of a neat result. Dr Phatcharasak Kraisornphongsakul at ID Clinic Bangkok has performed over 20,000 procedures. High-volume surgeons refine their tension-release techniques to prevent the incision from widening during recovery.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report that scars sit comfortably low and even. Most state that the early months look quite red and tight. Even so, using silicone sheets and massage helps the line soften into a faint mark.

Which body zones are typically covered in a Vaser 3 areas package when performed in Thailand?

A Vaser 3 areas package in Thailand typically covers three distinct body zones. The most common zones are the upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and flanks. These packages often provide 360-degree abdominal contouring. Other combinations include the inner thighs, outer thighs, and the upper back or bra-roll area.

  • Abdominal zones: Packages usually bundle the upper abdomen, lower abdomen, and flanks together.
  • Upper body: Surgeons often target the upper arms or the back to remove bra fat.
  • Lower body: Thigh treatments typically pair the inner and outer regions as separate zones.
  • Symmetry rule: Left and right paired areas, like thighs, usually count as one zone.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australian patients assume three areas cover the full torso. However, Thai clinics like Asia Cosmetic Hospital often define the upper and lower abdomen as separate zones. Selecting a package that combines Vaser with a tummy tuck helps the waistline match the new abdominal profile. These packages are typically priced from $5,500.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand recommend getting the exact three zones in writing before surgery. Confirm if sides are counted individually or together to avoid confusion during the final consultation.
