How Much Does Botox wrinkles Cost in Thailand in AUD?

Botox wrinkles in Thailand typically costs from AUD $435 to AUD $870. Total pricing depends on the brand used, the number of units required, and the clinic location. Patients save around 43% by travelling to Thailand from Australia, where this procedure costs AUD $1,015 on average. Standard packages often include a doctor consultation, the injections, and a follow-up visit.

  • Brand selection: Premium American brands like Botox® often cost 50–70% more than regional Korean alternatives.
  • Korean Botox: Aestox or Neuronox brands typically offer a more budget-friendly entry point for rejuvenation.
  • City variations: Packages in Bangkok hubs may cost 15–20% more than clinics in regional areas.
  • Clinic accreditation: JCI-accredited facilities often charge a small premium for meeting international safety and quality standards.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a 100-unit package offers better value than paying per unit for multiple areas. At Wansiri Hospital, packages start around A$500 and include premium Korean Botox administered by board-certified specialists. Australian patients frequently visit this clinic, which maintains a 99% success rate across surgical procedures. This volume of international patients suggests high standards of care and reliable aesthetic results.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 82 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.
Josh and team had fantastic thorough communication
Not sure... give me extra stem cells. Maybe have more food?

If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Botox wrinkles in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Are Botox injections safe in Thailand?

Botox injections in Thailand are safe when performed by registered medical doctors at licensed facilities. Board-certified specialists maintain high safety standards using global brands like Allergan or Nabota. Leading centres such as Asia Cosmetic Hospital hold JCI accreditation for international patient care protocols.

  • Qualified practitioners: Specialists like Dr Pimchya Panichkul at Charismma Clinic hold international fellowships from institutions in the USA and Korea.
  • Certified facilities: Hospitals like Wansiri Hospital use Clean Room standard theatres with air filtration systems.
  • Approved products: Reputable clinics use FDA-approved brands including Allergan, Nabota, and Aestox for consistent, natural results.
  • Professional consultations: Procedures include a physician consultation to review medical history and plan targeted regional injections.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bookimed data shows Thailand is a top-tier destination, serving over 6,600 Botox patients globally. While A$300 treatments exist, premium clinics like René Clinic Pattaya focus on evidence-based practices with Allergan. Choosing clinics that serve Australian patients means staff are accustomed to Western aesthetic expectations.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report high satisfaction when choosing established clinics in Bangkok or Phuket. They recommend checking product batch numbers. They also suggest verifying that a doctor, not a therapist, performs the injection.

What are the most popular and safe Botox brands used for wrinkle treatment in Thailand?

Thailand clinics provide a mix of premium Western and high-quality Korean botulinum toxin brands. Allergan (USA) remains the gold standard for precision. Dysport (UK) and Xeomin (Germany) are also widely used. Popular Korean alternatives including Nabota, Aestox, and Neuronox offer reliable safety at lower costs.

  • Allergan: Recognised globally as the original FDA-approved brand for precise, long-lasting wrinkle treatment.
  • Korean brands: Nabota and Aestox are popular for natural-looking results and facial contouring.
  • Pure toxins: Xeomin lacks complex proteins. Specialists often choose it to reduce resistance risks.
  • Wide diffusion: Dysport spreads more evenly. This makes it suitable for treating larger forehead areas.
  • Safety standards: Top Bangkok facilities like Asia Cosmetic Hospital hold JCI and ISO certifications.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Allergan is the most requested brand. However, Thai clinics like Wansiri Hospital serve 2,000+ patients annually using Aestox. This Korean brand is increasingly favoured for natural movement. Bookimed data shows several clinics include 100 units of Aestox in packages starting from A$500.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand recommend asking to see sealed toxin packaging before the procedure. Successful experiences often involve choosing injectors who provide clear dosage details and telehealth follow-up.

How soon can I see results after a Botox injection in Thailand?

Patients in Thailand typically see initial results within 3 to 7 days after Botox injections. Full effects generally settle by day 14. Facilities like JCI-accredited Asia Cosmetic Hospital provide these non-surgical treatments as outpatient procedures with no recovery time.

  • Initial onset: Subtle changes often appear in forehead or frown lines within 2–4 days.
  • Optimal results: Maximum skin smoothing and firmness are typically reached by 2 weeks.
  • Treatment duration: Results generally last 4–6 months before a repeat session is needed.
  • Travel planning: Schedule treatments 14 days before events to allow results to settle.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australians request Allergan. However, Thai clinics frequently use premium Korean brands like Nabota or Aestox. These formulations provide similar 14-day timelines. They allow clinics to offer 100-unit packages from $300. This is significantly lower than average Australian prices.

Patient Consensus: Expect faces to look normal immediately after the appointment. Most patients notice forehead lines relaxing first. They suggest waiting the full 2 weeks before checking if the dose was sufficient.

How long do Botox results for wrinkles last after treatment in Thailand?

Botox results in Thailand typically last between 3 to 6 months for most patients. Initial smoothing is visible within 3 to 5 days. Full effects appear after 14 days. Longevity depends on individual metabolism, muscle strength, and the specific brand used by specialists in Bangkok or Phuket.

  • Maintenance schedule: Dermatologists recommend follow-up treatments every 4 to 6 months for consistent results.
  • Treatment timeframe: Procedures for crow's feet or forehead lines take only 15 to 30 minutes.
  • Brand variety: Clinics use international brands like Allergan or K-FDA approved Nabota and Aestox.
  • Doctor expertise: Specialists like Dr Pimchya Panichkul have 10+ years of experience in aesthetic medicine.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics often offer premium Korean brands like Aestox alongside American Allergan. Analysis shows Bangkok clinics such as ID Clinic and Wansiri Hospital serve 2,000+ patients annually. These high-volume centres frequently bundle 100-unit packages. These often provide better value and longer-lasting coverage than smaller doses.

Patient Consensus: Most patients in Thailand notice movement returning by month 4. They suggest confirming unit counts upfront. Experience and technique are considered vital for results that look natural rather than frozen.

What are the potential side effects of Botox injections in Thailand?

Potential side effects of Botox in Thailand include temporary bruising, swelling, and mild headaches. Most resolve within 48 hours. Serious risks like drooping eyelids or facial asymmetry are rare. These are less likely when performed by board-certified dermatologists at accredited Bangkok clinics like JCI-accredited Asia Cosmetic Hospital.

  • Common reactions: Swelling, redness, or tenderness at the injection site typically lasts 1–2 days.
  • Headaches: Some patients report a heavy forehead sensation or mild headaches after treatment.
  • Temporary asymmetry: Drooping eyelids (ptosis) can occur if toxin spreads due to poor technique.
  • Brand safety: Reputable clinics use FDA-approved brands like Nabota, Aestox, Neuronox, and Allergan.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics often offer Korean-made toxins like Nabota or Aestox for around A$300 to A$500. These are TGA-equivalent and highly effective. Choosing an internationally accredited hospital like Wansiri or Navamin9 helps maintain strict storage protocols. This prevents product degradation and reduces the risk of poor results.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report that minor bruising around the eyes is the most frequent occurrence. Most recommend booking a follow-up appointment before flying home. This helps make sure any minor asymmetry is corrected.

Where are the best locations to undergo Botox injections in Thailand?

Bangkok, Phuket and Pattaya are the top locations for Botox in Thailand. These hubs feature JCI-accredited facilities and specialists with international fellowships. Clinics often serve over 4,000 international patients annually. This includes many Australians seeking expert facial rejuvenation and contouring through non-surgical injections.

  • Bangkok central: Offers the highest density of JCI-accredited hospitals like Asia Cosmetic Hospital.
  • Phuket resort clinics: Plenary Wellness provides aesthetic treatments in luxury resort settings like Nai Harn Beach.
  • Pattaya aesthetic centres: René Clinic specialises in medically guided, non-surgical facial rejuvenation for international visitors.
  • Chiang Mai options: Dr. Chen Clinic offers facial reshaping led by Korean Society of Aesthetic Surgery members.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bangkok clinics like Wansiri Hospital and ID Clinic cater to Australians with Clean Room-standard facilities. While Phuket is convenient for holidays, Bangkok has more specialists with US and European fellowships. This experience allows for precise placement in complex areas like jaw slimming.

Patient Consensus: Many patients find starting in Bangkok offers the best variety of reputable dermatologists. They recommend checking the specific brand used, such as Allergan or Nabota, during an initial video consultation.
