How Much Does All-on-4 Dental Implants Cost in Thailand in AUD?

All-on-4 dental implants in Thailand typically cost from AUD $13,056 / ฿A443,888 to AUD $20,454 / ฿A695,424. Prices depend on the implant brand, bridge material, and the clinic location in hubs like Bangkok or Chiang Mai. Australians save approximately 38% compared to local prices, which average AUD $27,272 / ฿A927,232. High-tier packages often include premium implants, a 5-star hotel stay, and VIP airport transfers.

  • Premium implant brands: Choosing Straumann or Nobel Biocare typically adds 25–35% to the base cost.
  • Zirconia bridge upgrade: Porcelain or zirconia bridges increase the price by approximately 15–20% over acrylic.
  • Bone grafting: If required, this preparatory surgery adds significant cost to the total treatment.
  • Location factors: Bangkok clinics sometimes charge 15-20% more than regional centres like Chiang Mai.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing bundled packages provides the best value for Australians navigating the Thai system. SmileBox Dental Clinic, for example, offers packages around A$14,000 including 14 nights in a 5-star hotel. This covers the typical timeframe needed for initial surgery and temporary fitting. Larger centres like Bangkok International Dental Center specialise in complex cases, performing thousands of reconstructions for international patients annually.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 350 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it
What would I say to a friend who’s hesitating? Just go for it. My biggest fear was not understanding the treatment plan or feeling rushed, but that wasn’t the case at all. The dentist was very patient and took the time to explain each step to me in detail. It was reassuring. The overall organisation ran smoothly and the whole clinic team were professional and happy to answer my questions. Coordination via Bookimed simplified the whole process, which helped reduce the stress of having a medical appointment abroad. I left with clear information and a good overall impression.

I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism
Hello everyone, like many other people before an operation, I wasn't feeling very well. The staff at the clinic immediately reassured and accompanied me. Believe me or not, I didn't feel a thing. The dental surgeon fitted the 2 implants in 40 minutes, and I had no infections whatsoever. My Bookimed advisor (Péguy) was with me from the start and is still with me today. I would like to thank BIDC and also Bookimed for their professionalism. Sylvain B.

The wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care
It is a clean hospital and the wisdom teeth extraction was done so fast with utmost care. The dentist and dental personnel can speak fluent English which is important for most people like I. For wisdom teeth extraction the cost was 20000 baht for 4 teeth( including medication and nurse charge), but it all depends if the teeth has impacted. I would highly recommend the clinic.

FAQ about All-on-4 Dental Implants in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Are dental clinics in Thailand safe and properly regulated for All-on-4 dental implants?

Top dental clinics in Thailand are safe and strictly regulated. The Ministry of Public Health and the Dental Council of Thailand provide oversight. Leading Bangkok facilities hold JCI accreditation and ISO 9001 certification. Their surgical safety and sterilisation standards often match or exceed Australian private clinics.

  • Regulatory oversight: Every legal clinic must prominently display a Ministry of Public Health registration number.
  • Specialist credentials: Surgeons often hold American Board of Prosthodontics or international implantology fellowships.
  • Material transparency: Accredited centres use premium brands like Straumann or Nobel Biocare for long-term reliability.
  • Clinical infrastructure: Dedicated dental hospitals provide onsite laboratories, CBCT imaging, and surgical theatres.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many clinics offer All-on-4, but patients should choose centres with official brand partnerships. Clinics like Bangkok International Dental Center are official Straumann providers. This guarantees genuine components are used. Australian dentists need specific proprietary tools to service these implants later.

Patient Consensus: Quality varies between Bangkok hospitals and small local shops. Patients must verify specific surgeon case histories. Those treated in Thailand recommend requesting full written reports and implant lot numbers. This facilitates seamless follow-up care back in Australia.

What are the major health risks I should consider before choosing Thailand for All-on-4 dental implants?

Major health risks for All-on-4 dental implants in Thailand include implant failure. Factors like insufficient screening, untreated gum disease, or uncontrolled diabetes increase this risk. Nerve injury or sinus issues can occur if clinics skip 3D CBCT imaging before surgery.

  • Diagnostic gaps: Poor pre-op assessments increase the risk of improper implant placement or failure.
  • Clinical contraindications: Uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking raise infection rates and integration issues.
  • Surgical complications: Inaccurate planning can lead to permanent nerve injury or sinus cavity penetration.
  • Rushed protocols: Fast-track treatments often skip healing phases. This increases the chance of prosthesis failure.
  • Aftercare hurdles: Returning to Australia without a local handover makes managing post-operative infections harder.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many centres advertise same-day results. However, top clinics in Bangkok like SmileBox or BIDH Hospital prioritise safety over speed. These centres serve 1,600+ to 10,000+ patients annually. They use original Straumann or Nobel Biocare materials and digital smile design. Choosing a facility with JCI or ISO 9001:2015 certification ensures hospital-grade sterilisation and safety standards.

Patient Consensus: Patients suggest asking for a full diagnostic work-up and written aftercare plans. Many found that confirming bite adjustments and handover paths before flying home provided peace of mind.

How many separate trips to Thailand are usually required for All-on-4 dental implant completion?

Completing All-on-4 dental implants in Thailand typically requires two separate trips. The first visit covers extractions and implant surgery. The second trip is usually 3 to 6 months later. This allows the jawbone to heal before fitting the final permanent bridge.

  • Standard timeline: Patients usually make two visits to Thailand to complete the full restoration process.
  • Initial surgery: The first trip takes 7 to 14 days for surgery and temporary teeth.
  • Healing period: Osseointegration requires 3 to 6 months at home for the bone to fuse.
  • Final restoration: The second trip takes 5 to 10 days for permanent bridge fitting.
  • Rare third trip: Staged treatments or complex bite adjustments may occasionally require a third visit.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While two trips are standard, SmileBox Dental Clinic - Thonglor offers 14-day all-inclusive packages. This longer initial stay is strategic. It allows swelling to subside before the temporary bridge is finalised. This reduces the need for emergency adjustments once the patient returns to Australia.

Patient Consensus: Most patients found the two-trip model necessary for the implants to settle properly in Thailand. They suggest building extra days into the first trip for reviews and healing. Confirming the healing interval with the clinic before booking return flights is essential.

Is it possible to receive immediate-load All-on-4 dental implants during a stay in Thailand?

Immediate-load All-on-4 dental implants are available in Thailand. Specialists can extract failing teeth, place four implants, and attach a temporary fixed bridge during one visit. This procedure is often called Teeth-in-a-Day. It typically requires staying 10–14 days for proper initial healing before flying.

  • Treatment timeline: Most patients require two trips over 3–6 months for permanent results.
  • Immediate loading: Temporary bridges are fitted within 24 hours if bone density is sufficient.
  • Quality standards: Clinics like Bangkok International Dental Center use JCI-accredited facilities and Straumann materials.
  • Global brands: Surgeons use Nobel Biocare and Straumann systems for easy maintenance in Australia.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many clinics offer fast-track implants, but secure packages include a 14-day hotel stay. SmileBox Dental Clinic bundles 5-star accommodation and VIP transfers into their A$13,800 to A$20,700 All-on-4 packages. This stay allows specialists to monitor integration and make bite adjustments before the patient travels home.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report receiving fixed temporary bridges immediately. Most confirm a second trip is essential for the final porcelain or zirconia restoration. Early identification of infections or bone grafting needs can extend the stay. Having a flexible itinerary is highly recommended.

What essential services are typically included in an All-on-4 dental package in Thailand?

All-on-4 dental packages in Thailand typically include four medical-grade titanium implants and a temporary bridge. They also cover the final zirconia or porcelain prosthesis and surgical fees. Many Bangkok clinics bundle travel amenities like 14-night stays in 5-star hotels and VIP airport transfers. They offer these to support international patients during their recovery.

  • Diagnostic imaging: Includes panoramic X-rays and 3D CBCT scans for precise surgical planning.
  • Premium implant brands: Most packages use globally recognised systems like Straumann, Nobel Biocare, or Osstem.
  • Prosthetic restoration: Covers both immediate temporary teeth and the final custom-made permanent arch.
  • Professional fees: Includes surgeon fees, local anaesthesia, post-operative medications, and on-site dental lab costs.
  • Patient logistics: Premium offers often feature VIP transfers and 14 nights in 5-star accommodation.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows a significant value gap between basic and premium packages in Bangkok. While basic options cost around A$13,800, premium packages at A$20,700 often include Neodent by Straumann implants. These also include 14 nights of 5-star hotel accommodation. This effectively covers the entire first trip’s lodging costs within the procedure price.

Patient Consensus: Patients find that Thai packages effectively bundle surgery with immediate-load temporary teeth. They suggest confirming if extractions and specific sedation types are included in the initial quote.
