How Much Does Resin bonded bridge Cost in Turkey in AUD?

A resin bonded bridge in Turkey typically costs from AUD $556 to AUD $973. The final price depends on the city, clinic accreditation, and the specific materials used for the wings and pontic. In Australia, this procedure costs around AUD $2,224 on average, meaning patients can save approximately 69%. Standard Turkey dental packages generally cover the consultation, the bridge, and local anaesthetic.

  • City variations: Packages in Istanbul may cost 15–20% more than in regional hubs like Izmir.
  • Material selection: Metal-bonded wings are standard, while ceramic-reinforced options typically add a 20% premium.
  • Tiered clinics: JCI-accredited hospitals in Istanbul often charge more than boutique dental clinics in Antalya.
  • Inclusions: All-inclusive packages at some clinics include accommodation, airport transfers, and even city tours.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic with international training adds significant value for Australians. Dr Mira Kanal at Value Dent Clinic, for example, holds a Master of Science in Oral Surgery from the University of Sydney. Some centres like Medipol University Ankara Dental Hospital even provide free second opinions. This academic expertise ensures high standards while maintaining costs around 70% lower than Australian private rates.

Data verified by Bookimed as of August 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 47 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

The process of checking in, the transfers, and the clinic was a flawless transition that really eased my worries
Traveling alone to Turkey was my biggest concern, but the ease of communication from start to finish was a relief. The process of checking in, the transfers, and the clinic was a flawless transition that really eased my worries. However, getting the airport transfer meeting point information before I landed would have made that part of the trip easier. My surgeon clearly explained all the material options for the 5-6 crowns I received. Recovery is going about as expected. The clinic's support has been good; they provided a clear aftercare guide and are easy to reach. My advice for others is to ask about the recovery timeline for eating and to bring additional funds for anything not visible in initial photos—or send an X-ray beforehand if possible.

You could’ve got the information for where to meet the transfer from the airport prior to me landing or leaving the airport and that would’ve made that part of the trip easier

"In general, even on my extremely picky character, I put a solid five
The staff is very attentive, I especially want to mention my curator and now my friend Olya, who helped in everything, was always present at all procedures. My smile with new teeth is such a joy. Doctors are qualified and very attentive to details. Which is especially important when you're older. Good hotel in a convenient location. In general, even on my extremely picky character, I put a solid five.

Good day. I want to share my experience. Of the benefits: the price of the services that were agreed upon did not change during the treatment process. The transfer was well organized. As for the translator, I can’t say anything, I had an English-speaking guide and a doctor, there were no problems in communication. Cons: the doctor with whom we agreed behaved, in my opinion, very strange. When at the first consultation I asked a question about the possibility of additional additional services, I was given an amount that did not suit me, and I asked to leave only the treatment that we had previously agreed on. After that, I was taken to the waiting room, where I stayed for about 30 minutes, without any explanation. After my treatment, another doctor took over. Outwardly, I like the result, but time will tell the quality. A little advice about booking a hotel. It is better to do it yourself so that there are no surprises. For example, my hotel was not bad, but there was a mosque right opposite and starting from 5 in the morning, a prayer service began in the loudspeakers :)

FAQ about Resin bonded bridge in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is a resin bonded bridge procedure in Turkey?

A resin bonded bridge in Turkey is a dental restoration used to replace a single missing front tooth. The procedure bonds a prosthetic tooth to the back of healthy adjacent teeth. Dentists use thin metal or porcelain wings and adhesive resin cement.

  • Minimal preparation: Dentists preserve natural tooth structure by avoiding the heavy filing required for crowns.
  • Structural design: Wings attach the replacement tooth (pontic) to the rear surface of supporting teeth.
  • Front tooth focus: This is best for low-stress areas where biting pressure is lighter.
  • Fast application: Specialists typically complete the fitting and bonding within a few days.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Patients can find unique clinical expertise in Istanbul. Dr Mira Kanal at Value Dent Clinic holds a Master of Science in Oral Surgery from the University of Sydney. This Australian training aligns with the high standards expected by Brisbane or Sydney patients. While the procedure is cost-effective, Australian patients should prioritise clinics with JCI accreditation. Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital is one such clinic. This help to verify that resin cement and bonding techniques meet global safety benchmarks.

Patient Consensus: Patients choosing Turkey appreciate the speed and lower cost compared to local options. Many recommend this as a reversible solution for front teeth if the surrounding enamel is healthy.

How long will a resin bonded bridge in Turkey last?

Resin bonded bridges in Turkey generally last between 5 and 10 years. They maintain functional success rates of 86% to 91% over the first 5 years. Good care can extend this lifespan to over 15 years for front teeth.

  • Material choice: Zirconia wings often provide higher survival rates than traditional metal-based options.
  • Bonding focus: Most failures involve debonding rather than breakage of the bridge itself.
  • Clinical volume: WestDent Clinic in Izmir performs over 15,000 dental surgery operations every 3 years.
  • Hygiene impact: Regular check-ups and cleaning are essential to prevent decay on supporting teeth.

Bookimed Expert Insight: These bridges are excellent conservative options. Their success in Turkey is often linked to surgeon experience. Dr Ufuk Zeren at Ata Health Center has performed 30,000+ procedures, including specialised bridge work. This high volume typically leads to better bonding techniques and longer-lasting restorations.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey find these bridges a great conservative choice. Lifespan depends heavily on bite force and tooth preparation. Expect potential maintenance like re-cementing over time, especially if you grind your teeth.

Is tooth preparation or drilling required for a resin bonded bridge in Turkey?

Resin bonded bridges in Turkey are primarily no-prep or minimal-prep procedures. They are designed to preserve natural tooth structure. Most cases require zero drilling. Instead, specialists use sandblasting or light etching to roughen enamel. This creates a strong adhesive bond for the metal or ceramic wings.

  • Bonding process: Dentists sandblast the adjacent teeth to create microscopic texture for dental cement.
  • Minimal prep: Shallow micro-drilling under 1 mm may occur if bite clearance is limited.
  • Material choice: Strong zirconia wings often require no drilling as they remain exceptionally thin.
  • Painless treatment: Procedures involve only the outer enamel layer and rarely require local anaesthetic.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish dental hospitals like WestDent Clinic and Medipol University Ankara serve over 35,000 patients annually. This high volume means specialists like Dr Mira Kanal often execute zero-prep designs. Dr Kanal holds an MSc from the University of Sydney.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey find this a conservative way to preserve tooth tissue. They recommend confirming whether any enamel reduction is planned before starting treatment.

What is the typical timeframe for a resin bonded bridge procedure in Turkey?

A typical timeframe for a resin bonded bridge in Turkey ranges from 3 to 7 days. This period covers two essential appointments. These include the initial assessment with digital impressions and the final fitting of the custom-made bridge.

  • Consultation phase: Specialists perform X-rays and digital scans during the first 2 days.
  • Laboratory production: Technicians craft the custom bridge, usually requiring 2 to 4 days.
  • Final fitting: Surgeons bond the bridge in a session lasting 1 to 2 hours.
  • Quality check: Patients undergo final assessments on day 7 before flying home.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Australian patients can find specialised expertise in Istanbul clinics. For example, Dr Mira Kanal at Value Dent Clinic holds an MSc from the University of Sydney. This shared training means treatment standards and communication styles feel familiar. Clinics with digital scanning technology, such as İstinye Dental Hospital, often produce bridges faster than those using manual moulds.
