How Much Does Pectoral Implants Cost in Turkey in AUD?

The final cost depends on implant technology, surgeon expertise, and the chosen medical hub like Istanbul or Antalya. In Australia, patients often face costs of around _price_compare_AU_average_. By travelling to Turkey, Australians can achieve savings of approximately _price_percent_discount_%. Most Turkish packages include theatre fees, anaesthetic, hospital stays, local transfers, and post-operative medications.

  • Implant type: Custom 3D-printed implants generally cost more than standard silicone anatomical or round options.
  • Clinic hub: Facilities in Istanbul typically cost 15–20% more than those in cities like Izmir.
  • Clinical standards: Accredited centres, such as JCI-certified Memorial Şişli Hospital, may include premium service tiers.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic with high surgical volumes offers consolidated value for Australians. Dr. Ali Nurhan Özbaba has performed 30,000+ plastic surgeries, providing a level of experience rarely found domestically. Clinics like Dr. MED and Quartz Hospital frequently treat Australian patients, so their teams understand local expectations. Being asked to pay extra costs at the last minute was deeply frustrating, souring the entire process. The surgeon was fantastic, and the clinic staff were good. The results speak for themselves; 15 days out, my chest width has perfect proportions and there’s great muscle separation with the medium Polytech implants. But the financial surprise was a significant issue. My advice is this: If you have fat in the chest area and are getting pectoral implants, ensure that gynaecomastia fat removal is negotiated in your final price! You can’t just add an implant without removing excess fat. Confirm with your consultant that this is included, because I did this and was still asked to pay more last minute. Also, the accommodations that they put you in are claimed to be prestige accommodations. The first few days two nights that I arrived. I was put in the most dreadful hotel room that you could ever imagine. I was also informed where I was staying at the very last minute I would advise that you get confirmation of where your accommodations will be and do your research far in advance to ensure that you’ll be staying somewhere acceptable I had to be moved to a new hotel room after completing for days while being ghosted - then the day of my surgery after being operated on I was told to bring my luggage to the hospital and had to check into a new hotel room post Surgery in pain and out of it. Also make sure that whoever your consultant is is readily available to attend to any issues I was ghosted for 48 hours by mine. She had a personal incident in her defence, however, if you’re in a foreign country by yourself, there should be someone to attend to you 24 hours a day regardless of personal incidents time or day somebody should’ve been available as a backup. In summary, it’s very important to make sure exactly what is covered and what is not I was told that everything would be covered except for my flight one in fact, all that was covered was the surgery breakfast hotel accommodations, which were originally terrible and transportation back-and-forth to hospital airport and follow up appointments. In reality, only breakfast was covered. You had to get your own lunch and dinner. Any medications that are prescribed post surgery, including compression vests, or any extra costs are to be covered by the patient and only told at the last minute. It is not in fact, all inclusive. It’s all inclusive in hotel, including breakfast and transportation. Everything else is on you to cover yourself.
I loved the doctor and the translator that I dealt with - Memorial Hospital is exceptional. Very clean and prestigious. Feeling definitely felt like I was in the right place, especially considering I live in Canada and our healthcare is free but very safe.
Don’t be fooled into being told that you’re going to be put in luxury accommodations. Do your research ask what hotel you were going to be accommodated in long before your arrival and READ the reviews. I was told at the very last minute where I was staying, and it ended up being one of the most dreadful hotel rooms. I have ever set foot in in my entire life. In addition at the last minute as I was about to board my flight to come to Istanbul, I was informed of extra costs for fat removal in my procedure, which had already been negotiated months prior. Not a very good situation to inform a patient of extra costs at the last minute literally before boarding my flight to come there. I proceeded to board and figured that this would’ve been resolved by the time I landed only to arrive the day of my surgery and be asked once again for these extra costs to be paid. This was a terrible and horrible experience not something anybody wants to go through minutes before they’re about to be taken into the operating room. Definitely left a bitter taste in my mouth. The only thing that I can say that was wonderful and positive about this experience was the doctor. He was phenomenal. The translator that dealt with me. She was also phenomenal, but the communication with this organization throughout all of these issues and problems was terrible at one point I was ghosted for 48 hours with no responses from the team as to how to proceed with this whole extra cost situation.

The single positive aspect of this entire process was the staff. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and the clinic itself was profoundly disappointing, and I'm very concerned with how my otoplasty recovery is going so far. The gap between the supportive staff and the actual medical treatment I received is hard to understand. The facility did not meet my expectations for a medical setting in any capacity. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a similar procedure.
Do not go with bookimed.com. I didn’t liked from the moment when I arrived to airport anyone wasn’t there to pick me up, you know when you arrive any place you have no internet and you can’t make any phone calls or text so night mares already start.

I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone
I loved the coordinator / interpreter. Totally made me feel at ease and comfortable in what I would only describe as an anxious situation especially with the language barrier and the unknown of where you are going. The surgeon himself was wonderful and even had a coffee with me before hand which made me feel completely at ease. I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone. Thank-you so much :)

The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent
The possibility of breathing issues was my primary concern going into this. And honestly, that has been the biggest challenge in recovery so far, with one nostril constantly feeling stuffed. My surgeon performed a closed rhinoplasty. Everything is still very swollen along the bridge, but I can already see that my nose tip appears more refined, which is a great sign. The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent. The general staff were great, though post-op instructions could have been a bit more explicit. I'm satisfied with the medical care I received so far
Dr. Erol is an amazing doctor, his work was amazing he truly listened to my request and expectations and he was really patient and reassuring. The medical assistance team as well, they really took good care of me, they were present when i needed them.
post-op instructions could’ve been explained better

The lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement
My biggest worry was how the final result would look, and whether it would be worth the recovery. Even though I’m still quite puffy around my jawline, the lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement. That part is a huge relief. The staff and clinic environment were excellent from start to finish. Turning my head feels slightly tight but okay. The surgeon did good work, though I rated them a 4/5 as I felt some communication could have been a bit more compassionate after surgery. The most challenging part has absolutely been sleeping elevated. That's no fun. I would still recommend this clinic.
The Bookined coordinator and the Quartz Clinic staff were fantastic: supportive, helpful, compassionate. All updates were communicated to me promptly. The hotel booked for me is really excellent, with smooth transfers and kind drivers. Spot on!
I didn't give the doctor 5 stars because she made me cry the day after surgery. She could adopt a different approach towards me after surgery, with more understanding and compassion, especially since I was there on my own and at the end of the day, she's received all the information required, it doesn't matter from whom. The stress has a significant impact on me. Aside from that, she was great.

The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted
The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted. It’s a great feeling. My goal was a more defined tip, and that's precisely what the surgeon delivered using an open approach. The whole process was smooth, and the staff were genuinely caring. The most difficult part of recovery so far is just having to sleep upright, which is temporary. A huge bonus is that I am breathing perfectly through my nose already. I am so grateful for the surgeon's skill and the clear communication from the team.

the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable
If you’re thinking about arm liposuction, I’d advise you to prepare for the recovery. My surgeon used the VASER ultrasound technique and, although it’s still early days, my compression sleeves are already too loose. My mobility is limited; my biggest difficulty right now is reaching for things above my head. It’s also important to be patient with the results, because when I look in the mirror today, I can see that one arm looks different from the other, and I’m confident that will even out over time. Despite these minor aspects of the process, the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable. I would recommend the clinic.

The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout
My biggest worry was ending up with an unnatural shape, but the surgeon’s approach and clear communication completely put me at ease. Right now, things still look a little patchy as about half the transplanted hairs have fallen out, which I was told to expect during this early stage of healing. It’s a process. The biggest challenge has honestly been a personal one: just remembering to avoid touching them! The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout. While the clinic facilities were fine, the personal care from the team made all the difference. I'm very satisfied with my choice.

The surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin
I was worried that the scars from the upper and lower eyelid surgery would be noticeable. Fortunately, the surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. However, the overall impression was greatly marred by the clinic itself, where the conditions were unsatisfactory. Recovery is still ongoing. My eyes are still swollen, and I’ve noticed that when I smile, one side looks slightly different. I hope this will pass. The main advice I would give to anyone considering this procedure is to prepare thoroughly for the period before and after the operation.

We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough
Sitting in the clinic in Antalya, the surgeon explained how the laser-assisted technique for my upper eyelids would function during the procedure. The whole service was smooth and we had a fantastic time throughout our stay. The aftercare was good. I was thrilled with how my eyes looked at 12 days, although at day 15 my biggest challenge is that they are still puffy. My eyes look natural and smooth when I smile. It is a process. We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough. If you are considering eyelid surgery, ensure you have a few weeks to let the initial swelling settle.

I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter
I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip). I'm still quite swollen but look forward to seeing final results in a few months.

But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts
I liked everything overall. Initially, I was very afraid, starting with the flight to another country, the transfer to the hotel and the operation itself. But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts. 5 hours after the operation I returned to the hotel. Which is also very good because the hospital ward is the worst for me. Exactly after a week I took off the splint, my nose was still swollen. The nose is proportional to my face. When the swelling goes down it will be smaller

What gave me the most confidence was my surgeon sitting down with me to draw the incision lines right before the procedure
What gave me the most confidence was my surgeon sitting down with me to draw the incision lines right before the procedure. She was very honest about what results would be realistic for my age and even checked on me personally after I woke up from the general anesthesia. The procedure covered my full face and neck, and while it's still too early to tell what the final outcome will be, the support has been good. The staff are always easy to reach. I also appreciated that there were no additional expenses. My main advice would be to arrive a day before your operation for the consultation with your doctor, and make sure to tell them what you eat.
Everything went excellently with the coordinator. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Paysal, who was my surgeon, was kind and knowledgeable.
The staff's English could have been better. The food served was the same for lunch and dinner for two days — chicken and rice. I told them I was vegetarian, but was still served chicken and rice for lunch and dinner.

The entire process has been so smooth
What really put me at ease was the conversation with my surgeon. She took the time to show me before and after photos, explained what result to realistically expect from the wedge method on the labia minora and made me feel comfortable discussing my concerns. The entire process has been so smooth. I'm feeling better than expected right now. The clinic support has been great—they've stayed in touch, gave me a clear aftercare guide, and were always easy to reach. Plus, there were no additional expenses at all. My advice is simple: do your research, and if you have any questions, ask the coordinator. They are only too happy to help.
Excellent communication with the coordinator. Everything was booked for me - the procedure, hotel & ALL the transfers. I didn't have to worry about anything once I was in Turkey.
Nothing negative to report.

FAQ about Pectoral Implants in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Is it safe for an Australian to have pectoral implants in Turkey?

Pectoral implants in Turkey are safe for Australians when performed at JCI-accredited hospitals. These facilities maintain rigorous safety standards. Surgeons such as those at Memorial Şişli Hospital and Quartz Hospital are board-certified. They hold certifications from the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ISAPS) and the European Board (FEBOPRAS).

  • Accredited facilities: Memorial Healthcare Group was the first in Turkey to earn JCI accreditation for safety.
  • Certified specialists: Dr Hakan Bulam and Dr Mehmet Mustafa Kiyar hold European Board (FEBOPRAS) certifications.
  • Australian experience: Clinics like Quartz Hospital and Dr MED specifically report treating patients from Australia annually.
  • Modern technology: Surgeons use VASER and LASER liposculpture alongside implants for precise chest contouring.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Basic packages cost from Price on request . Data shows that 98% of patients with chest fat need gynaecomastia removal alongside implants. To avoid last-minute fees, patients should confirm that fat removal and compression garments are included. This should be in a written quote before flying to Istanbul.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey report excellent muscle separation and natural proportions. Many recommend confirming hotel quality and meal inclusions upfront. Most find the surgeons highly accessible and professional throughout the process.

Will pectoral implants performed in Turkey look natural?

Pectoral implants in Turkey look natural when board-certified surgeons use anatomical placement. They also use conservative sizing tailored to the patient's existing chest wall. Specialist clinics in Istanbul use silicone implants, such as Polytech, to create a defined athletic contour. This approach avoids an artificial appearance.

  • Anatomical placement: Surgeons place implants under the muscle for better soft tissue coverage.
  • Implant selection: Clinics use Polytech devices to match the patient’s specific muscular structure.
  • Expert credentials: Specialists like Dr Hakan Bulam hold FEBOPRAS certification for reconstructive excellence.
  • Volume experience: Surgeons at Turkish centres often perform 1,000+ body contouring procedures annually.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bookimed data shows that natural results depend on managing existing tissue. Patients with excess chest fat should have gynaecomastia removal performed alongside the implant surgery. This dual approach, common at clinics like Memorial Şişli, stops the implant looking "rested" on top.

Patient Consensus: Patients report that results look most natural after the implants settle during healing. Choosing small-to-moderate sizes ensures the chest maintains an athletic proportion. This helps the results blend with the patient's natural frame.

What is the typical recovery timeline for pectoral implants in Turkey?

Recovery for pectoral implants in Turkey typically lasts 4–6 weeks. Patients usually stay in Istanbul for 7 days for post-operative check-ups. Full results appear within 3–6 months as implants settle and swelling resolves.

  • Initial healing: Avoid arm elevation and heavy lifting for the first 14 days.
  • Hospital stay: Most procedures require a 1-night stay at facilities like Memorial Şişli.
  • Physical therapy: Compression garments are required for 4–6 weeks to support chest contouring.
  • Exercise timeline: Wait at least 6 weeks before gym activity or chest training.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data from 60,000+ Turkish medical requests shows patients often overlook the settling phase. While patients can fly home after 7 days, implants often sit high initially. Surgeons like Dr Leyla Arvas at Quartz Hospital suggest waiting 3 months for the final result.

Patient Consensus: Turkish clinics provide results where muscle separation and chest proportions look natural. Patients recommend checking if gynaecomastia fat removal is included to avoid unexpected theatre costs.

What types of pectoral implants are available in Turkey?

Turkey offers custom-fit silicone gel implants, notably from brands like Polytech. Some clinics also provide autologous fat transfer for patients seeking non-implant options. Specialists in Istanbul and Antalya often combine these implants with VASER liposuction or high-definition body sculpting to define the chest.

  • Silicone implants: These firm the chest using solid or gel silicone for permanent, chiselled pectorals.
  • Polytech implants: High-quality German-made devices used by leading clinics like Memorial Şişli Hospital.
  • Fat transfer: This uses the Cihantimur Fat Transfer System to naturally enhance volume without implants.
  • Combined contouring: This integrates pectoral implants with liposuction to improve muscle separation and definition.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Pectoral implant surgery in Turkey often requires fat removal to achieve a natural look. Clinics like Dr. MED include a year of aftercare support. This is vital since most international patients cannot easily return for physical follow-ups once they leave Istanbul.

Patient Consensus: Confirm if gynaecomastia removal is included in the quote to avoid last-minute costs. Patients in Turkey suggest requesting specific implant details like size and profile in writing before you travel.

What is included in a typical medical package for pectoral implants in Turkey?

Standard pectoral implant packages in Turkey cover the surgery, premium silicone implants like Polytech, and medical fees. These all-inclusive bundles typically feature 1–2 nights in hospital and 4–6 nights in Istanbul hotels. They also include VIP transfers between the airport, clinic, and accommodation.

  • Core medical fees: Covers the surgeon, anaesthetist, theatre costs, and pre-operative blood tests.
  • Premium silicone implants: Includes high-quality devices, often from European brands like Polytech, for long-lasting results.
  • Clinical aftercare: Provides initial post-operative check-ups and prescribed medications for the first week.
  • Logistical support: Features dedicated patient coordinators to translate during appointments and manage all local transport.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Bookimed data shows several clinics, including Dr. MED, offer a full year of aftercare support. For Australians travelling home, this digital follow-up is vital for monitoring healing. It helps check that implants settle correctly without needing immediate return flights.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey appreciate seeing the specific hotel and implant brand before booking. They often suggest confirming if compression vests and chest fat removal are included. This helps to check that the final result matches the quoted price.
