I couldn't have wanted for more
What really stood out was sitting with my surgeon as he so carefully measured and marked my upper eyelids. He was very honest about what to expect from the recovery and potential scarring, which I appreciated. The procedure was done with just local anesthesia. I'm still in the early healing stages, but I am feeling better than expected so far. The clinic team has stayed in touch to check in on me, and there were no additional expenses at all. I can't even think of any advice for a future patient, because the clinic provided all the necessary information beforehand. I couldn't have wanted for more.

The atmosphere here is truly home-like, which is very important during inpatient rehabilitation. Our program included modern methods, including hardware therapy, and they also took care of simple but essential things: providing delicious breakfasts, lunches, and dinners every day. Importantly, there were no additional expenses beyond the clinic's payment.

My coordinator, Mariia, was absolutely fantastic
Patient Review: Exceptional Knee Surgery in Istanbul with Professor Gemalmaz
After facing a long wait for knee surgery under the NHS in the UK, where I was looking at either a partial or full implant, I decided to explore other options. I consulted Professor Gemalmaz through Bookimed, who reviewed my case and noted that the rest of my knee capsule was in good condition. Instead of a replacement, he proposed a joint preservation strategy to save my knee.
On September 17th, at the Memorial Şişli Hospital in Istanbul, he performed a mosaicplasty on my right knee. He took a plug of bone and cartilage from a non-weight-bearing area of my knee and very skillfully used it to repair a 16mm x 14mm x 15mm grade 4 cartilage defect in the patellofemoral joint.
The operation was a complete success. I am currently recovering in Istanbul, undergoing a course of intensive physiotherapy, and I am already able to walk with just one crutch. Remarkably, the remaining cartilage in my knee was found to be grade one, which is exceptional for my age.
I highly doubt I would have found a surgeon of Professor Gemalmaz’s outstanding caliber in the UK, and the procedure was very affordable. His exceptional surgical skill was matched only by his consideration and kindness; he visited me every single day in the hospital and frequently checked on me at my hotel.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services. Any prospective patient would be fortunate indeed to have Professor Gemalmaz as their surgeon.

Honestly, there is nothing I can say about making it a better experience, everything went smoothly and on time
What stood out most was the flawless organization from start to finish. I came for chronic pain treatment, and the entire process was handled with true professionalism. The team made it simple. I underwent Gamma Knife surgery on my trigeminal nerve at Medical Park Clinic and I would like to express my huge gratitude to all the medical staff and especially to the professor who performed the procedure.
The operation was difficult, as it involved the trigeminal nerve and there was a risk of injury to nearby nerves. However, thanks to the professionalism and high qualifications of the professor, everything went well. He performed the procedure with jewellery precision, minimising possible risks and ensuring an excellent result.
The Medical Park clinic also impressed with its high level of service, attentive attitude to patients and modern technological base. I felt in safe hands from the moment of consultation to the end of the rehabilitation period.

Dr Sait has worked wonders
On the 18th he underwent surgery with a vagus nerve stimulator on the 25th and it was connected. Dr Sait has worked wonders. Daytime seizures are very rare but nighttime seizures have changed completely. I am 35 years old and so far only the first connection 0.25 paediatric dose and 5 more connections.

We were at Memorial Ankara on the 27th and 28th of October. The transfer was organised. We were met by Nigora, a member of the international department of the clinic. We saw a neurologist and a cardiologist. We had blood tests, MRI, Doppler, ECG, ECHG, Holter ..... Quality of service and knowledge of medical and nursing staff at the highest level. We are satisfied. Thank God, my dad feels well. He bought all the pills we were prescribed in Ankara.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the doctors and the whole medical team who are taking care of my sister.
Everyone has been very polite, kind, and caring towards her. We really appreciate the time and effort they put into her treatment. She is receiving regular robotic exercises and other care and treatments on time, and we can already see a positive difference.
