I can already see the lifted shape has great projection, which is what I was hoping for
My biggest concern going into this was ending up with a shape that looked strange or unnatural. It's a big decision. I'm still very early in my recovery, but I can already see the lifted shape has great projection, which is what I was hoping for. The surgeon and I decided on Motiva implants. The clinic staff and my surgeon were consistently professional and clear in their communication. The most difficult part for me right now is the significant implant tightness across my chest; it's a persistent discomfort you should be prepared for. It's a process. But the surgical work and care were very good.
I had my surgery at this clinic and I’m honestly very happy with the whole experience. From the first consultation to aftercare, everything was handled professionally and smoothly. The team was incredibly supportive and made me feel comfortable and confident every step of the way. A special thank you to the nurse for being so caring, kind, and attentive — it really made a big difference during my recovery. The results have exceeded my expectations, and I truly appreciate the effort and care from the entire team. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone considering surgery.

The surgery went really well, I'm so happy with the results
I loved everything about my experience with Tatiana. She was fantastic! Followed up on everything for me and spent a lot of time going backwards and forwards with things. It never felt Iike a problem, she always had all the time in the world for me. The surgery went really well, I’m so happy with the results and honestly it was one of the nicest hospitals I have ever been in! The staff were all so beautiful and that was the 4th procedure I have had with Dr Chatpong now and every single procedure he has done I couldn’t be happier!
The quality of the hospital. The beautiful staff. The doctor

Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care
Monsplaty, Tummy Tuck and 360 Liposuction. My biggest concern going into this was what the recovery would actually feel like. It's not easy. The most challenging part has definitely been the constant tight feeling, which is something to be prepared for. My surgeon used a combination of liposuction and excision. Right now there is still some swelling, so it’s too early to know how my clothes will fit differently in the end. Despite the discomfort, the clinic, the staff, and my surgeon were all fantastic and provided great care. It was a professional and supportive environment, and I'm glad I made the choice to go there.
Very clean, very inviting. After care was good too. Everything was quick and easy. Communication via whatsapp made things easier as well. I travelled solo and the staff helped that little extra.
After surgery garments are not forgiving for us longer torso people. They were a bit short which added a lil discomfort when it rolled at the back. Other than that everything was really good.

Even at just 15 days post-op, the initial aspect is already better than expected
Seeing the surgical site for the first time was the moment everything finally felt real. Even at just 15 days post-op, the initial aspect is already better than expected. We used the penile inversion technique, and while the results look promising, the recovery requires a lot of patience and steady commitment to the healing process. My biggest challenge at this stage is definitely the physical discomfort of being seated for a long time. It is a process. The clinic staff has been very attentive during my stay, and I am expecting to have the catheter removed very soon. To anyone else preparing for this surgery, it’s not easy but it is a good experience overall.

I'm confident in my choice and would recommend this clinic
My biggest worry was how the results would actually look and feel afterward. Now that I'm in the early stages of recovery from the fat transfer graft, I can say the outcome is positive. The girth is already noticeably thicker. Everything is still slightly numb, as expected, but the visual change is definitely there. The surgeon and the entire staff were professional and clear with all information, which helped manage my concerns from the beginning. It's a relief. Based on the care I received and the initial results, I'm confident in my choice and would recommend this clinic.

The entire staff and my surgeon were great and supportive through it all
My biggest fear was the recovery, and it’s certainly a process that requires patience. The entire staff and my surgeon were great and supportive through it all. Right now, my chin is still very swollen, so I can't properly see the projection from the large, solid silicone implant yet. The numbness has been the hardest part. My lower lip feels slightly numb, which has made eating the biggest challenge so far. It’s a strange sensation. Despite the temporary side effects of healing, the care I received was solid and I would recommend this clinic.
Really loved the stuff they were very cute and helpful

My breathing is now even better than before
My biggest concern was that the result might look unnatural or that my breathing might be affected. Neither of these things happened. In fact, my breathing is now even better than before. During the open rhinoplasty, a small bump was removed and the bridge of my nose is now, even so soon after the procedure, already straighter, just as I wanted. In addition, the tip of my nose already looks much more defined. The staff and the surgeon were consistently supportive and answered all my questions patiently, which gave me a great deal of reassurance. I felt I was in good hands.

The clinic staff were competent, and the surgeon was clear in our consultations
Waking up, I felt groggy but managed. The clinic staff were competent, and the surgeon was clear in our consultations. The incision was placed under the breast, which is what I wanted. I am still in the early recovery phase, and it has its challenges. My pain has lessened to a mild discomfort, but sleeping through the night is difficult, and my nipples are uncomfortably hypersensitive. Overall, the medical care was solid, though the recovery process itself is demanding. It’s a serious undertaking.

The surgeon and the whole medical team have been absolutely brilliant
I was really worried about the recovery period, and the truth is it hasn’t been as easy as I expected. My stomach is still swollen, and the compression garments are still tight, but the hardest part so far has been dealing with the annoying numb patches. That said, the surgeon and the whole medical team have been absolutely brilliant. The doctor explained to me that he used ultrasound technology (VASER) and removed between 3 and 4 litres of fat, and I felt I was in safe hands with them. Unfortunately, the clinic’s facilities weren’t up to the same standard as the quality of medical care, which is why I’ve given it a lower rating. Overall, I’m optimistic about the final result.
The medical and nursing staff are truly exceptional

My surgeon was excellent, a definite 5/5
If you're considering a tummy tuck, know that the recovery is a real process. My surgeon was excellent, a definite 5/5. He performed a full tuck and repositioned my belly button, and everything already feels very tight, which is good. My biggest challenge right now is the compression garment; it's just a constant presence. While the surgeon was fantastic, there were some minor organizational points with the clinic and staff that could have been smoother. It's still too early to see the final flat result with all the healing left to do, but I feel confident in my choice. I would give this clinic a 9/10 recommendation to a friend.
The doctor he is excellent .soft spoken ,attentive and a great surgeon.
Rooms could be bigger so that attendant could stay at night. They have a reclining sofa not suitable for night sleeping. Front desk managers could be more attentive to every detail.

The initial appearance is honestly better than expected, even with all the healing that’s still to come
The initial appearance is honestly better than expected, even with all the healing that’s still to come. Seeing that was a huge relief. The surgeon and staff provided great support, making me feel secure from the start. Recovery is no joke. It was a positive step when the catheter was removed, but managing the dilation sessions has been very challenging. My biggest concern is the swelling, and I'm focused on trusting the process. The care and the surgical foundation are solid, which is why I'm rating everything positively.
Everything was perfect. The staff were kind, professional, and very supportive throughout the whole process. The doctor explained everything clearly and made me feel comfortable and cared for. The clinic was clean, organized, and exceeded my expectations. I’m very happy with my experience and grateful for the excellent care I received.
Nothing to complain about. Everything went smoothly and I was satisfied with the overall experience.

The surgeon and the staff were fantastic from start to finish
My biggest worry was whether I'd see a real difference after having Vaser on multiple areas, especially since they removed over four liters. It’s still early, but the swelling is much less now, and I can definitely see subtle changes taking shape. The surgeon and the staff were fantastic from start to finish. They are a solid team. The main challenge for me is just the compression garment making my skin itchy, but that's part of recovery. While the clinic facilities were generally fine, they weren't on the same level as the medical care itself. It's a process. Overall, I feel this was a worthwhile decision.
Almost 2 weeks post-lipo with Dr. Phatcharasak Kraisornphongsakul at ID Clinic. The bruising is fading and my clothes are fitting so much better already. My abdomen feels tighter, waist more defined, and inner thighs no longer rubbing as much when I walk. So happy I took this step for myself.

My biggest worry going into this was the quality of post-operative care, and that's where things fell short. While the surgeon's work was professional, the support from the clinic staff felt disorganized and was a source of stress during a vulnerable time. The clinic itself could also be improved. It’s a very mixed feeling. I can’t judge the aesthetic outcome yet because everything is still far too swollen to see clearly. On a positive note, getting the catheter removed was a definite relief and a good milestone. The medical part was handled, but the care aspect was lacking.
Language was a problem. Food was horrible, no attempt to take into account cultural differences. Had to wait over an hour for scheduled appointments. Minimal care by all. I would not recommend Wansiri Hospital to any of my friends. Staff would not reach out to my wife, when requested, to resolve problems.

I can honestly say the initial appearance is better than expected
My biggest worry was what the final result would look like. I can honestly say the initial appearance is better than expected. The surgeon used the penile inversion technique, and both the surgeon and the staff have been excellent. Recovery is, of course, a challenge. The catheter is manageable with proper care, and I am following the dilation schedule as instructed, but sitting for long periods is currently very difficult. It’s a real process. For anyone else getting ready for this, my advice is to be calm ☺️ and be happy for the wonderful physical change coming your way!

The surgeon and staff were very capable and provided solid care from start to finish
The main thing I worried about was the recovery, and it is definitely a process. At 15 days post-op, sleeping on my back is hard, and the pain is still moderate, though it's manageable. It's not easy. I’m glad that my nipple sensitivity feels normal, which was a specific concern since my surgeon used an incision around the nipple. The surgeon and staff were very capable and provided solid care from start to finish. My best advice for anyone else is what got me through the tougher moments: have patience and trust the procedure.
Very warm gesture I have been experienced from doctor and staff very cooperative and responsible.

FAQ about Labiaplasty in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Are there risks involved with having labiaplasty surgery in Thailand?

Labiaplasty in Thailand carries standard surgical risks. These include infection, bleeding, scarring, and temporary sensation changes. Safety is maintained through JCI-accredited facilities such as Asia Cosmetic Hospital. Specialists like Dr Sirote Sukkasem at Lelux Hospital have over 35 years of experience in female reconstructive surgery.

  • Infection control: Wansiri Hospital uses automated touchless features and Clean Room standards to reduce risks.
  • Expert supervision: Asia Cosmetic Hospital provides anaesthetist and cardiologist supervision during delicate intimate procedures.
  • Specialised techniques: Laser labiaplasty and scarless techniques help reduce recovery time and visible scarring.
  • Facility standards: Leading centres like Lelux Hospital use HEPA-filtered theatres and private VIP recovery suites.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australian patients focus on surgeon skill. However, the A$3,000–A$3,200 packages often include 24-hour monitoring in private suites. This is vital because immediate post-op swelling needs professional management that a hotel room cannot provide.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report feeling highly supported by professional staff and surgeons who ensure clear communication. They recommend being prepared for significant post-op tightness. They also suggest planning for a slow, careful recovery process abroad.

How long do I need to stay in Thailand for a labiaplasty procedure?

Most patients spend 10 to 14 days in Thailand for safe healing after a labiaplasty. This allows for 1–2 nights in hospital plus a follow-up appointment within 10 days. Specialist centres like Lelux Plastic Surgery Hospital often use absorbable sutures to simplify recovery.

  • Hospital duration: Stay 1–2 nights in hospital for monitoring and initial pain management.
  • Follow-up schedule: Attend a post-operative check around day 7 to assess healing.
  • Surgical techniques: Options include laser labiaplasty or scarless techniques for faster tissue recovery.
  • Total recovery: Return to strenuous exercise or sexual intimacy usually takes 4–6 weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While basic clinics offer day surgery, major hospitals in Bangkok like Lelux include 2 nights of inpatient care. This allows Dr Sirote Sukkasem or other specialists to personally monitor early swelling before discharge.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand found the professional communication from surgeons reassuring when making decisions about intimate surgery. The kindness of the hospital staff and high standard of clinic facilities made recovery feel more comfortable.

What is the typical recovery process following labiaplasty in Thailand?

Labiaplasty recovery in Thailand usually involves a 7 to 10-day stay for initial healing and follow-up. Patients focus on managing swelling during the first 72 hours. Most return to light work within 1 week. Full internal healing and final results usually take 4 to 6 months.

  • Hospitalisation: Most packages include 1 to 2 days of monitoring in private recovery rooms.
  • Initial recovery: Swelling peaks around day 3, with bruising being a normal part of healing.
  • Surgical closure: Surgeons like Dr Sirote Sukkasem typically use absorbable sutures for easier international travel.
  • Activity limits: Patients must avoid strenuous exercise, tampons, and sexual activity for 6 weeks.
  • Post-op support: Clinics provide wound dressing sets and medications to manage discomfort during the flight.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows that 1 to 2-night hospital stays are standard in high-tier Thai clinics. This differs from many Western outpatient models. For Australian patients, this monitoring by staff at Lelux Hospital provides safety during peak swelling.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand highlight that the first week is the most uncomfortable for sitting and walking. They suggest bringing loose cotton clothing. They also recommend using warm water rinses for hygiene for a smoother recovery.

What surgical techniques are typically used for labiaplasty in Thailand?

Surgeons in Thailand use trim, wedge, and laser techniques to reshape the labia minora for symmetry. Specialists like Dr Sirote Sukkasem at Lelux Hospital also provide full vaginal repair and reconstructive procedures. They use absorbable sutures and light sedation for these treatments.

  • Trim technique: Straight excision reduces tissue size along the outer labial edge for a linear finish.
  • Wedge technique: Removes a V-shaped section to preserve the natural, contoured edge and minimise scarring.
  • Laser labiaplasty: Scalpel-free approach offered at specialised centres to reduce bleeding and allow precise tissue removal.
  • Labia majora options: Augmentation using hyaluronic acid fillers or fat transfer restores volume to the outer labia.
  • Scarless labiaplasty: Modern refinement designed to hide incision lines, typically priced between $2,500 and $4,500.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics like B.Care Medical Center and Sikarin Hospital are large facilities serving over 22,000 to 255,000 patients annually. These high-volume centres often include 1–2 days in private hospital suites within the surgical price. This is rarely included in Western outpatient settings.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report feeling supported by surgeons who spend time discussing shape and projection goals. The hospital experience stands out for its high standards and clear communication from clinical staff.

Can I use tampons or go swimming after having a labiaplasty in Thailand?

Patients must avoid tampons and swimming for 4–6 weeks after labiaplasty in Thailand. Dr Sirote Sukkasem at Lelux Hospital uses absorbable sutures. These need a dry environment to heal without infection or tearing.

  • Tampon restrictions: Use sanitary pads or period pants for 6 weeks to prevent irritation.
  • Swimming ban: Avoid pools, salt water, and hot tubs until incisions fully close.
  • Infection control: Specialised operating theatres with HEPA filtration help maintain strict hygiene standards.
  • Initial recovery: Clinics like DGB Clinic provide private rooms and initial wound dressing sets.
  • Activity limits: Skip beaches and long walks initially as friction can increase swelling.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While basic labiaplasty costs from $2,200, choosing packages with telehealth follow-ups is smart for Australians. These video check-ups allow your surgeon to clear you for swimming before you fly home.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand found that loose cotton underwear and pads managed spotting comfortably. They suggest scheduling recovery time to avoid the temptation of beach or pool activities.

When is it safe to shower after undergoing a labiaplasty in Thailand?

Patients in Thailand are typically permitted to shower 24 to 72 hours following a labiaplasty. Specialist surgeons at accredited Bangkok clinics provide specific clearance. They base this on healing progress and the surgical technique used. Clinics often cited include Wansiri Hospital or Asia Cosmetic Hospital.

  • Showering timeline: Most Thai specialists allow gentle showering 1 day after surgery if stable.
  • Water pressure: Avoid directing high-pressure water at incisions to protect absorbable sutures and tissue.
  • Drying technique: Pat the surgical area dry with clean towels instead of rubbing the skin.
  • Submersion restrictions: Avoid baths, pools, and hot tubs until the surgeon confirms full wound closure.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics like Lelux Hospital often include a 1–2 day hospital stay. This is a major advantage for recovery. Clinical staff manage your first post-operative wash. They also help keep the area clean before you return to your hotel.

Patient Consensus: Many women in Thailand report showering within a day. They often recommend using a handheld shower for better control. Patients found that patting the area dry helped reduce discomfort during the first week.
