How Much Does BodyTite body contouring Cost in Thailand in AUD?

BodyTite body contouring in Thailand typically costs from AUD $5,583 / ฿A189,816 to AUD $9,770 / ฿A332,178. The final price depends on the number of treated zones, clinic location, and used anaesthetic. Patients save around 38% by travelling to Thailand from Australia, where this procedure costs AUD $9,072 / ฿A308,451 on average. Packages often include pre-operative tests, compression garments, and initial medications.

  • Abdominal contouring: Typically adds 20–30% when targeting multiple layers or larger regions.
  • Technology combinations: Pairing BodyTite with VASER or traditional liposuction increases costs by approximately 25%.
  • Small area treatments: Localised procedures for the chin or jawline represent the lowest entry point.
  • Service hubs: Major clinics in Bangkok and Phuket offer competitive packages with extensive inclusions.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Australian patients find exceptional value in Bangkok clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok, which frequently serves Aussie travellers. My strongest feeling right now is one of being disappointed and scammed. The total costs nearly doubled, jumping from the $2000 USD Bookimed total to $5000 once I was at the clinic. The fractional CO2 laser treatment I received on my face and neck also wasn't what I originally requested; the doctor suggested changing it only after I had already arrived, which should have been communicated much earlier. While the clinic staff themselves were fine and have stayed in touch, the experience with the surgeon and the finances was poor. Make sure the treatment promised on Bookimed is the same one you're getting at the clinic. I would avoid this dermatologist and Wansiri.
The customer service at the clinic was great and the staff was very kind.
Patient Complaint Regarding Treatment Plan and Communication at Wansiri I am documenting my concerns regarding the communication, treatment planning, and services I received at Wansiri. Before my appointment, I specifically requested the following treatments: * Ablative CO2 laser treatment for the full face and décolletage * Ultherapy for the full face The estimated total cost discussed was approximately USD 2,000. The doctor agreed to this proposed treatment plan, and I confirmed that I wished to proceed based on that agreement. However, on the day of the scheduled treatment, the doctor informed me that she did not want to perform any CO2 laser treatment on my face. This was a significant change from the treatment plan that had previously been discussed and agreed upon. Instead, the doctor and coordinator recommended a different package consisting of: * Thermage treatment around the eyes * Ultherapy for the full face * Microneedling The revised package cost approximately USD 5,000, which was more than double the original estimate. My primary concerns were not adequately addressed. In particular: * No CO2 laser treatment was performed on my face. * No treatment was provided for my décolletage. * The crepey skin around my eyes, which was one of my main concerns, was not adequately addressed. * The treatment plan was substantially changed on the day of the procedure, after I had already traveled to and committed to receiving treatment at the clinic. * The reasons for changing the original treatment plan were not clearly explained before the appointment. * I was presented with considerably more expensive alternatives without adequate time to consider the change or seek another medical opinion. I relied on the doctor’s prior agreement when deciding to proceed with treatment at Wansiri. Had I been informed in advance that the doctor would not perform CO2 laser treatment on my face or décolletage, I could have reconsidered the appointment, consulted another provider, or made a more informed decision. As a result, I felt pressured into accepting a treatment package that was significantly more expensive than the original estimate and that did not adequately address the skin concerns for which I sought treatment. I left feeling that the communication had been misleading and that I had not received the treatment plan I had originally agreed to. I believe communication between the doctor, coordinator, and patient should be improved. Any changes to an agreed treatment plan, particularly changes involving substantially different procedures and costs, should be clearly communicated before the patient arrives for treatment. I am requesting a written explanation of: 1. Why the originally agreed CO2 laser treatment was declined on the day of treatment. 2. Why I was not informed of this change before the appointment. 3. Why no treatment was provided for my décolletage. 4. How the recommended treatments were intended to address the crepey skin around my eyes. 5. Why the final cost increased from approximately USD 2,000 to approximately USD 5,000. 6. What resolution or compensation the clinic proposes regarding the difference between the agreed treatment plan and the services ultimately provided.

Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.
Josh and team had fantastic thorough communication

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about BodyTite body contouring in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What is the downtime for BodyTite treatment in Thailand?

BodyTite in Thailand typically requires 7 to 10 days of downtime before returning to desk-based work. Most patients experience soreness, swelling, and bruising for the first week. Light walking is encouraged immediately. However, avoid strenuous activities and heavy lifting for 6–8 weeks for proper healing.

  • Initial recovery: Expect soreness and bruising similar to an aggressive bruise for 7 days.
  • Compression garments: Wear specialised garments 24/7 for 2–3 weeks to manage swelling.
  • Activity limits: Avoid high-impact exercise and heavy lifting for at least 6–8 weeks.
  • Travel planning: Stay in Thailand for 9–14 days for follow-ups before flying home.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While recovery starts quickly, Thailand's leading specialists like Dr Chen Chaicharncheep offer aftercare to speed things up. Hyperbaric oxygen and light therapy at specialised Bangkok centres can reduce postoperative swelling and bruising.

Patient Consensus: The first few days are often the most uncomfortable due to tightness and swelling. Patients suggest staying in Thailand for extra days for follow-up care.

What postoperative care is required following BodyTite treatment in Thailand?

Postoperative care following BodyTite in Thailand requires wearing compression garments. These help manage swelling and support skin tightening. Most patients undergo aftercare in Bangkok or Phuket centres. This typically includes wound hygiene for small incisions and activity restrictions for 2–4 weeks. Clinics often provide specialised therapies like hyperbaric oxygen to speed up healing.

  • Compression garments: Wear medical-grade garments daily to reduce swelling and improve skin contraction.
  • Aftercare: Leading clinics like Dr. Chen Surgery Hospital use light therapy to reduce inflammation.
  • Wound hygiene: Keep small entry points clean and dry to prevent infection during recovery.
  • Activity limits: Avoid strenuous exercise and heavy lifting for at least 4 weeks post-treatment.
  • Prescribed medication: Complete all antibiotic courses and manage discomfort with prescribed pain relief.

Bookimed Expert Insight: BodyTite is minimally invasive, yet Thai surgical hospitals often provide hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Chen Surgery Hospital uses this technology to boost oxygen levels in tissues. This step can significantly reduce the bruising and swelling typically seen in the first 7 days.

How much skin tightening can be expected after a BodyTite procedure in Thailand?

BodyTite in Thailand achieves skin contraction of 35% to 40% using radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL). This technique heats deep tissue layers to remodel collagen and firm the skin. It is effective for mild to moderate laxity on the abdomen, arms, and thighs.

  • Tightening capacity: RFAL technology provides better firming than traditional liposuction alone.
  • Clinical results: Most patients see immediate improvement with optimal skin contraction at 6 months.
  • Laxity limitations: BodyTite suits mild laxity but cannot replace surgery like a tummy tuck.
  • Recovery timeline: Local swelling typically fades within 4–6 weeks to reveal new body contours.
  • Cost factors: Procedures in Thailand range from $4,000 to $7,000.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai specialists, like Dr Chen Chaicharncheep, often train in Korea and Europe. Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok may combine BodyTite with stem cell therapy. Some also use hyperbaric oxygen to speed up healing and improve skin quality.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report moderate firming that improves edge definition and skin contour. Expect gradual improvements over several months rather than the immediate results of major surgery.

Which body areas can be treated with BodyTite in Thailand?

BodyTite in Thailand effectively treats the abdomen, arms, thighs, buttocks, and back. Surgeons use this radiofrequency-assisted liposuction (RFAL) to liquefy fat and tighten skin. It targets areas with mild laxity, such as the jawline (FaceTite) or upper arms. This provides a contoured finish.

  • Abdominal contouring: Tightens loose stomach skin and reduces stubborn fat deposits.
  • Upper arm refinement: Addresses loose skin and fat, often called bat wings.
  • Thigh and knee: Contours inner and outer thighs while firming the skin.
  • Face and neck: Sharpens the jawline and treats double chins using NeckTite.
  • Chest and back: Treats male breast tissue and pockets of back fat.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai specialists like Dr. Chen Chaicharncheep often combine BodyTite with fat transfer techniques. BodyTite uses gentle thermal energy to preserve fat quality. This allows surgeons to use harvested fat for facial rejuvenation or body shaping.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand appreciate how surgeons use these minimally invasive tools to avoid long scars. They often mention feeling relaxed because clinics provide recovery aids like hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

Can I combine BodyTite with other surgical procedures while in Thailand?

Patients in Thailand frequently combine BodyTite with surgeries like abdominoplasty, breast lifts, and fat transfers. This radio-frequency assisted liposuction (RFAL) technology melts fat and tightens skin. It often reduces the invasiveness of other contouring procedures performed during the same theatre session.

  • Common pairings: Often bundled with tummy tucks, breast surgery, or Brazilian butt lifts.
  • Clinical benchmarks: Leading centres like ID Clinic Bangkok report 95–96% success for combined procedures.
  • Safety standards: Specialists like Dr Chen Chaicharncheep hold certificates for minimally invasive body contouring.
  • Recovery period: Combined surgeries typically require 9–14 days in Thailand for safe post-operative monitoring.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australian patients seek BodyTite for skin tightening. Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok often integrate stem cell therapy with combined tummy tucks to improve healing. This approach focuses on tissue regeneration alongside fat removal, offering a step up from standard liposuction.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand suggest confirming the total surgical time for combined sessions. They also recommend asking for a written operative plan. Many found that staying near the Bangkok clinic helped manage swelling and early follow-up checks.

How many treatment sessions are typically required for BodyTite in Thailand?

BodyTite in Thailand typically requires only one session per targeted area. This achieves visible fat reduction and skin tightening. Most patients find a single procedure sufficient. However, surgeons may treat multiple areas or combine techniques during this single theatre visit.

  • Treatment visits: Only 1 session is needed for each specific body area.
  • Procedure length: Surgery lasts 45 minutes to 2 hours depending on the areas.
  • Combination therapy: Surgeons often pair BodyTite with liposuction for better muscle definition.
  • Recovery window: A 7–14 day stay allows for necessary follow-up checkups.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While a single session is standard, experienced surgeons like Dr Chen Chaicharncheep at Dr. Chen Surgery Hospital often use 3D facial scanning or imaging before that one appointment. This helps the single procedure precisely target problem areas. This often saves patients A$1,500–A$3,000 compared to costs in Australia.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report that one session delivers the promised contouring results. They do not typically need a repeated course. They suggest confirming whether quotes cover a single area or the full treatment plan before arriving.
