How Much Does Gold crown Cost in Republic of Korea in AUD?

Gold crown procedures in the Republic of Korea typically cost from AUD $720 to AUD $720. Final prices depend on gold purity, market rates for precious metals, and the clinic location. Patients save around 72% compared to Australia, where the average cost is AUD $2,593. High-gold alloys and specialist consultations are usually included in premium dental packages within major hubs.

  • Material purity: Higher carat gold alloys increase the price compared to standard dental gold.
  • Clinical setting: University hospitals and clinics in Seoul districts like Gangnam typically charge 15–20% more.
  • Preparatory work: Essential treatments like root canals or core build-ups add to the final bill.
  • Regional variations: Clinics in Incheon or Daegu often offer more competitive rates than central Seoul.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a clinic in a regional hub provides significant savings without compromising on quality. Incheon and Daegu offer advanced dental technology at lower rates than Gangnam. Patients should confirm if the quote includes the gold surcharge based on current market fluctuations. Some clinics offer fixed-price packages that cover the initial consultation and necessary dental X-rays. This helps Australians avoid unexpected out-of-pocket expenses while abroad.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 30 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

Set aside more money for the treatment than is stated. Taxes were added on top at the clinic, and the dental cleaning also costs extra. I ended up with additional costs of around $100.
It was very easy to book the appointment, and on the day of the treatment everything went really quickly. Within an hour, my teeth were beautifully whitened.
One negative aspect was the lack of transparency regarding the costs. The description of the treatment suggested that, for $370, you would receive three sessions of bleaching plus a professional teeth clean. However, when I got there, I had to pay extra for the teeth cleaning, and on top of that, a hefty amount of tax was suddenly added to the total price, which meant the whole thing ended up costing nearly $100 more. Fortunately, I don’t trust anything, so I’d already factored in additional costs when planning my budget. Even so, it would be nice to be able to estimate the costs in advance.
