How Much Does Coronary artery bypass grafting Cost in India in AUD?

Coronary artery bypass grafting in India typically costs from AUD $6,357 to AUD $11,557. Total expenses depend on the surgical technique used, the hospital's reputation, and the length of stay in the intensive care unit. Standard Indian hospital packages usually include pre-operative tests, surgeon fees, anaesthesia, and essential post-operative medications.

  • Off-pump CABG: typically costs 15–20% more than traditional open-heart surgery due to specialised equipment.
  • Minimally invasive approach: often carries a 30–40% premium over standard techniques for faster recovery.
  • Major medical hubs: Bangalore, Delhi, and Mumbai are the primary destinations for cardiac care.
  • Hospital tiering: prices at JCI-accredited facilities in Delhi or Mumbai tend to be higher than in smaller cities.
