His research covers survivin and HSP90 in colorectal cancer, second primary cancers in patients with gastric cancer, and Borrmann type IV gastric carcinoma. Uzm. Dr. Erkan Göcen is a Radiation Oncology Specialist at Çerkezköy Private Optimed Hospital (Optimed Health Group). He graduated from İstanbul University, İstanbul Faculty of Medicine (Çapa) in 2003.

Career: He trained and practiced in Radiation Oncology from 2010 to 2012. He worked in public and private health institutions from 2012 to 2016. He served in the private medical sector as a Radiation Oncology Specialist from 2016 to 2023. He has been at Optimed Hospital since 2024.
