Professional Profile

Assoc. Prof. Orhan Ünal Zorba was born in Istanbul on 10 May 1977. Originally from Trabzon, he completed his primary and secondary education in Istanbul. In 1995, he entered Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, graduating as a medical doctor in 2001.

He completed his residency training in the Department of Urology at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, between 2001 and 2006. Following his specialist training, he worked as a urologist at Şırnak State Hospital and Akyazı State Hospital in Sakarya.

In 2009, he continued his academic career as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Urology at Gülhane Military Medical Academy in Ankara. He subsequently joined the Department of Urology at Recep Tayyip Erdoğan University Faculty of Medicine, where he served as an Assistant Professor from 2010 to 2014 and as an Associate Professor from 2014 to 2016. During this period, he contributed to patient care, medical education, urology residency training and scientific research.

Following his work in public and university hospitals, he practised as a urology specialist at several private hospitals in Istanbul. Since 8 June 2026, he has been seeing patients at Private TUSA Hospital. 

With approximately 25 years of professional experience, Assoc. Prof. Zorba focuses on general urology, andrology, endourology, urinary stone disease, prostate disorders, male infertility, sexual dysfunction, female urology and urological oncology.

He completed both his medical education and urology residency at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, and subsequently worked at state hospitals, university medical faculties and private healthcare institutions.
