How Much Does Lutetium-177 therapy Cost in Turkey in AUD?

Lutetium-177 therapy in Turkey typically costs from AUD $12,653 to AUD $16,966. The total price depends on the number of sessions, required diagnostic scans like PSMA-PET, and whether the hospital has international affiliations. Australians save approximately 26% compared to local prices, where this treatment averages AUD $17,110. Most Turkish packages include specialist consultations, blood tests, and VIP airport-to-clinic transfers.

  • Single therapy session: typically starts around A$9,100 which includes the medication and specialist consultation.
  • PSMA-PET or DOTA-PET scans: often add 15–20% if not bundled into a full treatment package.
  • Comprehensive prostate programs: usually range from A$16,450 to A$18,200 for advanced targeted radioligand protocols.
  • Renal scintigraphy: occasionally included in initial cycles to monitor kidney function at no extra cost.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a Johns Hopkins-affiliated facility like Anadolu Medical Center offers world-class standards for about A$14,000 per session. While Memorial Şişli Hospital provides more accessible entry-level packages around A$9,100, the Anadolu programs often bundle follow-up exams and renal monitoring. For Australians, these fixed-price bundles clarify out-of-pocket costs upfront, making financial planning for multiple cycles much more predictable.

I got more than value for my money
Memorial is more than a hospital. It is home from home. Very hospitable and caring staff who show a lot of empathy. My one night stay in the hospital was a delightful experience, kind and available staff, every neat and hygienic room. The doctors are on top of their job. I was taken through a lecture in nuclear physics 101, broken in simple language. The lecturer helped allayed my initial fears about the treatment. The treatment was speedy and the results came so quickly. The doctor was by my bedside to explain the next steps. The translator was fantastic. The transportation service was superb, always on time. I got more than value for my money. I will strongly recommend Memorial Sisli Hospital for any person seeking Lu-177 therapy
