How Much Does Dimple Creation Surgery Cost in Turkey in AUD?

Dimple creation surgery in Turkey typically costs from AUD $558 to AUD $976. Final prices depend on the chosen clinic tier, the surgeon's expertise, and the complexity of the desired dimples. Australians save approximately 83% compared to local prices, where the procedure averages AUD $4,045. Most Turkish packages conveniently bundle the surgery, local anaesthetic, follow-up examinations, and language assistance.

  • Surgeon expertise: Specialised practitioners with international training often charge a premium for their experience.
  • City location: Main surgery hubs include Istanbul, Antalya, Ankara, Izmir, and Sivas.
  • Package inclusions: Premium deals frequently include 4-star accommodation and all VIP airport-to-clinic transfers.
  • Clinic accreditations: Facilities accredited by JCI or ISO may have higher baseline costs.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a package often yields better value than booking services separately. For example, Quartz Clinique offers a package for approximately A$2,700. This includes two nights in a 4-star hotel and all necessary transfers. This approach removes local transport hassels for Australians. Experienced specialists like Dr. Ceren Durgun specifically specialise in this procedure. Many clinics, such as Memorial Sisli, hold JCI accreditation, confirming they meet strict international quality standards.

Data verified by Bookimed as of August 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 57 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

My surgeon was great; he was honest about what results were realistic for my body and clearly explained all the risks, which gave me confidence
If you're thinking about this, my main piece of advice is to be mentally ready for the procedure, as it can be overwhelming. I’m in early recovery from my breast reduction and lift, and I am feeling better than expected. My surgeon was great; he was honest about what results were realistic for my body and clearly explained all the risks, which gave me confidence. The clinic team was easy to reach and stayed in touch. Do be aware of some additional expenses – I had a prescription that cost extra at the pharmacy. A few practical tips: bring a spare compression garment, cotton t-shirts to wear underneath it, and your own snacks. Also, having my mum with me has been pivotal to my recovery, so I'd suggest bringing a companion if you can.
The co-ordinator at Bookimed, Winnington was brilliant. No matter how many questions I had he was able to answer them promptly and with one small hiccup from the hospital Winnington went out of his way to try and package a new procedure for me. My co-ordinator Eyyub at Optimed hospital was outstanding. The hospital was great, the staff on my floor were fantastic. We used goggle translate when the co-ordinator wasn’t with us if we came up against a language barrier but that was not very often. I was cared for before and after my surgery by the nursing staff who could not do enough for myself and my mum. I 10000000% recommend Bookimed & Optimed hospital
Post op instructions could be better. I have suggested to them to put together a general guide of what to do and not to do and for however long. What’s normal and if something doesn’t feel right who to contact etc. I think this will greatly help international patients and help the hospital co-ordinators from being hounded with a load of questions from several patients all at once. Peace of mind for the patient and a little more support for the co-ordinator. The food is catered for Turkish patients and can be hard for international patients to eat. Again, I have suggested to them to try having a small box of fibrous cereal available at breakfast time and instead of a full meal at lunch time something simple like sandwiches or rolls/bagels/baked goods. Dinner was usually ok and we were able to eat most of that but our daytime diet is a little less than they were providing and there was a lot of food waste which they could minimise & use the money elsewhere if there was a cater to international patients diets.

The single positive aspect of this entire process was the staff. They were wonderful. Unfortunately, my experience with the surgeon and the clinic itself was profoundly disappointing, and I'm very concerned with how my otoplasty recovery is going so far. The gap between the supportive staff and the actual medical treatment I received is hard to understand. The facility did not meet my expectations for a medical setting in any capacity. Based on this, I would absolutely not recommend this clinic to anyone considering a similar procedure.
Do not go with bookimed.com. I didn’t liked from the moment when I arrived to airport anyone wasn’t there to pick me up, you know when you arrive any place you have no internet and you can’t make any phone calls or text so night mares already start.

The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent
The possibility of breathing issues was my primary concern going into this. And honestly, that has been the biggest challenge in recovery so far, with one nostril constantly feeling stuffed. My surgeon performed a closed rhinoplasty. Everything is still very swollen along the bridge, but I can already see that my nose tip appears more refined, which is a great sign. The surgeon and the clinic itself were excellent. The general staff were great, though post-op instructions could have been a bit more explicit. I'm satisfied with the medical care I received so far
Dr. Erol is an amazing doctor, his work was amazing he truly listened to my request and expectations and he was really patient and reassuring. The medical assistance team as well, they really took good care of me, they were present when i needed them.
post-op instructions could’ve been explained better

I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone
I loved the coordinator / interpreter. Totally made me feel at ease and comfortable in what I would only describe as an anxious situation especially with the language barrier and the unknown of where you are going. The surgeon himself was wonderful and even had a coffee with me before hand which made me feel completely at ease. I felt in such safe hands throughout and would recommend my surgeon Dr Yunus Emre Seker and his team to anyone. Thank-you so much :)

The lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement
My biggest worry was how the final result would look, and whether it would be worth the recovery. Even though I’m still quite puffy around my jawline, the lift in my jowls is already a dramatic improvement. That part is a huge relief. The staff and clinic environment were excellent from start to finish. Turning my head feels slightly tight but okay. The surgeon did good work, though I rated them a 4/5 as I felt some communication could have been a bit more compassionate after surgery. The most challenging part has absolutely been sleeping elevated. That's no fun. I would still recommend this clinic.
The Bookined coordinator and the Quartz Clinic staff were fantastic: supportive, helpful, compassionate. All updates were communicated to me promptly. The hotel booked for me is really excellent, with smooth transfers and kind drivers. Spot on!
I didn't give the doctor 5 stars because she made me cry the day after surgery. She could adopt a different approach towards me after surgery, with more understanding and compassion, especially since I was there on my own and at the end of the day, she's received all the information required, it doesn't matter from whom. The stress has a significant impact on me. Aside from that, she was great.

The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted
The moment I saw the result, even with the initial swelling, I could tell the shape was exactly what I wanted. It’s a great feeling. My goal was a more defined tip, and that's precisely what the surgeon delivered using an open approach. The whole process was smooth, and the staff were genuinely caring. The most difficult part of recovery so far is just having to sleep upright, which is temporary. A huge bonus is that I am breathing perfectly through my nose already. I am so grateful for the surgeon's skill and the clear communication from the team.

the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable
If you’re thinking about arm liposuction, I’d advise you to prepare for the recovery. My surgeon used the VASER ultrasound technique and, although it’s still early days, my compression sleeves are already too loose. My mobility is limited; my biggest difficulty right now is reaching for things above my head. It’s also important to be patient with the results, because when I look in the mirror today, I can see that one arm looks different from the other, and I’m confident that will even out over time. Despite these minor aspects of the process, the care provided by the surgeon and all the staff was impeccable. I would recommend the clinic.

I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter
I felt very secure and taken care of through the entire experience. All of my inquiries were answered very promptly by both the bookiemed coordinator, the assistant, and my doctor (Dr. C Altindąg), is very experienced and talked me through what to expect and analyzed my nose very thoroughly. I breath perfectly now after surgery and my nose is a lot straighter (I had a severe deviated septum and other complications from a past surgery that he identified and corrected including a mirgrated graft and a droopy tip). I'm still quite swollen but look forward to seeing final results in a few months.

I was so impressed by the results
If you're considering this, here is my honest take on the experience so far. My surgeon did excellent work on my extended tummy tuck with lipo and muscle repair; he was present during recovery checks and clearly explained the scar placement. I’m feeling better than expected early on. The financial aspect was a major factor. If I had the same procedure done in the US, I would have spent close to $20k. I spent a fraction of that in Istanbul and I was so impressed by the results. All transfers were provided and there were no additional expenses. However, be aware that some staff speak little English, and I frequently smelled cigarette smoke in the corridor. I also had to do my own online research for post-op directions. My coordinating physician did reach out while I was in the hospital and back at the hotel. My advice: only travel alone if you are very strong emotionally and physically, as it was a challenging experience. It felt like another c-section! Pack a good hospital bag with a phone charger and universal adaptor, toiletries, books, and a neck pillow. Photo of me is my Before. I'm one week in recovery, so no After photo yet.
My surgeon did excellent work and the nursing staff kept close post-op care of me. I appreciated all of the provided transfers to and from the airport and between the clinic and my hotel. The whole experience from start to finish was a great value for the price. If I had the same procedure done in the US (tummy tuck, abdominal muscle repair, and lipo), I have spent close to $20k. I spent a fraction of that in Istanbul and I was so impressed by the results one week after surgery.
Please be aware that some of the medical staff do not speak much or any English, so they provide support rather silently. Turkish people are also fairly serious, so while efficient and thorough, I was not coddled or babied. Also, there's also smoking allowed in the nurses' lounge or illegal smoking in the stairwell because I frequently smelled smoke in the corridor outside my recovery room while completing my post-op walking. Lastly, I would recommend the clinical staff provide more post-op directions for safe and expedient recovery. Everything I've learned was from my own online research.

The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout
My biggest worry was ending up with an unnatural shape, but the surgeon’s approach and clear communication completely put me at ease. Right now, things still look a little patchy as about half the transplanted hairs have fallen out, which I was told to expect during this early stage of healing. It’s a process. The biggest challenge has honestly been a personal one: just remembering to avoid touching them! The surgeon and staff were brilliant and supportive throughout. While the clinic facilities were fine, the personal care from the team made all the difference. I'm very satisfied with my choice.

The surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin
I was worried that the scars from the upper and lower eyelid surgery would be noticeable. Fortunately, the surgeon did an excellent job – the incisions were made using the traditional method and are now hidden in the natural folds of the skin. I have no complaints about him whatsoever. However, the overall impression was greatly marred by the clinic itself, where the conditions were unsatisfactory. Recovery is still ongoing. My eyes are still swollen, and I’ve noticed that when I smile, one side looks slightly different. I hope this will pass. The main advice I would give to anyone considering this procedure is to prepare thoroughly for the period before and after the operation.

My surgeon, Dr
My surgeon, Dr. Ergin Er, was fantastic and I would highly recommend him—he was honest about realistic results and explained the scar placement clearly before my 360 VASER lipo and full tummy tuck with muscle repair. Having seen my scar it looks perfect so far. There were no additional expenses on top of what I paid. The nurses were wonderfully friendly and the clinic food was lovely - they even had food for my friend who came with me! The clinic stayed in touch constantly and provided a clear aftercare guide, making it easy to know what to do. While there was a slight language barrier with some nurses, it was never a problem as they used translation apps to communicate. My advice: don’t bring many clothes - you won’t need them, but do bring comfy shoes and clothes with pockets for your two drains. And make sure to get up and walk around as it aids healing and you will feel better.
I had a 360° VASER liposuction procedure, tummy tuck and abdominal muscle repair, and overall I’ve had a really positive experience from start to finish\. From the very beginning, Bookimed answered every question I had and were incredibly helpful\. No matter what time I messaged, someone was always there to answer my queries and put my mind at ease\. The transfers between the airport, hotel and hospital were excellent, and the instructions for where to go and what to expect were very clear\. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast each morning was lovely\. My coordinator, Ege, was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process\. He was always at the end of a message whenever I needed him, kept in constant contact, explained everything clearly, and was always able to reassure me whenever I felt anxious\. At the hospital, I met the anaesthesiologist, who was kind, professional and explained everything clearly\. My surgeon, Dr Ergin Er, was equally reassuring\. He carefully went through the procedure with me, completed all of the markings and made sure I understood what would happen before surgery\. I’ll admit I became quite emotional as I was being taken down to theatre, but the nurses were incredibly kind\. They held my hand, comforted me and made me feel safe, which meant a great deal\. When I woke up after surgery, I was looked after wonderfully\. The nursing staff were attentive throughout my recovery and were always there to help whenever I needed anything\. Even the hospital food was surprisingly lovely\. My mum stayed with me throughout my time in hospital, and she was provided with meals as well, which was a lovely touch\. Before we were discharged, we were both even given breakfast and lunch, which was much appreciated\. There was occasionally a slight language barrier with some of the nurses, but it was never a real problem\. Most spoke good English, and anyone who wasn’t confident simply used a translation app, so communication was always possible\. Throughout my recovery, Ege continued to check in regularly and made sure I knew exactly what I needed to do at each stage\. Although I’m still healing, my scar already looks very neat and tidy, and from everything I’ve seen so far, I’m extremely pleased with the results of my surgery\. I would happily recommend Bookimed, Ege, Istanbul Aesthetics Centre and Dr Ergin Er to anyone considering cosmetic surgery in Turkey\. Travelling abroad for surgery is a big decision, but I felt supported every step of the way and wouldn’t hesitate to choose them again.
Genuinely I can’t think of anything. It’s such a massive decision and the whole time I had full confidence in what was happening and the staff.

But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts
I liked everything overall. Initially, I was very afraid, starting with the flight to another country, the transfer to the hotel and the operation itself. But the calmness and poise of the doctor and his team completely dispelled my doubts. 5 hours after the operation I returned to the hotel. Which is also very good because the hospital ward is the worst for me. Exactly after a week I took off the splint, my nose was still swollen. The nose is proportional to my face. When the swelling goes down it will be smaller

Right now, I am feeling better than expected
I remember seeing the computer imaging of my new nose during the consultation and feeling confident. My surgeon was very honest about what was realistic, and I appreciated that he personally handled everything from that first meeting to the surgery itself. He performed an open rhinoplasty to reshape my bridge and tip. Right now, I am feeling better than expected. The clinic staff has been great with follow-up; they've stayed in touch, are easy to reach, and gave me a clear aftercare guide. It was also reassuring that there were no additional expenses. If you're wondering what to bring, don't worry—they prepare you for everything, and nothing was missing for me.
Everything was wonderful, we are very satisfied, everyone was helpful and very kind and the results are the best.

We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough
Sitting in the clinic in Antalya, the surgeon explained how the laser-assisted technique for my upper eyelids would function during the procedure. The whole service was smooth and we had a fantastic time throughout our stay. The aftercare was good. I was thrilled with how my eyes looked at 12 days, although at day 15 my biggest challenge is that they are still puffy. My eyes look natural and smooth when I smile. It is a process. We will be going back for other treatment and truly can’t recommend them enough. If you are considering eyelid surgery, ensure you have a few weeks to let the initial swelling settle.

FAQ about Dimple Creation Surgery in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Are there any potential health risks or complications with Dimple Creation Surgery in Turkey?

Dimple creation surgery in Turkey is a low-risk, minimally invasive procedure with few major complications. Common side effects include temporary swelling and bruising. Potential risks include asymmetry or infection at the incision site. Infrequent injury to the facial nerve can occur during the stitching process.

  • Infection prevention: Surgeons use incisions inside the mouth. This requires careful oral hygiene to prevent bacterial buildup.
  • Nerve safety: Damage to the buccal branch of the facial nerve is extremely rare.
  • Settling period: Dimples often look tight for 3–6 months before appearing natural.
  • Asymmetry risk: Variations in dimple depth or placement may require a minor revision.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish specialists like Dr Ceren Durgun at Medipunto Clinic specialise in dimpleplasty. Many clinics perform over 6,500 procedures annually. This ensures doctors handle high volumes. Australian patients should choose JCI-accredited facilities like Memorial Şişli Hospital for international safety standards.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey report the procedure is fast, often taking only 15 minutes. Experiences highlight that dimples feel tight initially. Reaching a natural look takes several months.

What is the recovery process like following Dimple Creation Surgery in Turkey?

Recovery following dimple creation surgery in Turkey is typically rapid. Most patients return to light activities within 1–2 days. Specialists perform the procedure via small internal cheek incisions. This means there is no visible external scarring. Swelling usually subsides within 1 week of the operation.

  • Technique results: Dissolvable stitches are used inside the mouth. These typically disappear within 14 days.
  • Initial appearance: Dimples stay visible constantly at first. Results usually soften into natural smiles within 1–2 months.
  • Dietary care: Patients follow a soft food diet. Using warm salt water rinses helps maintain oral hygiene.
  • Post-op monitoring: Clinics like Soraca Med provide 24/7 monitoring. This provides support for international patients throughout recovery.
  • Flying home: Surgeons generally clear patients for travel after 2–3 days. Initial tightness is common during flights.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Basic healing takes 2 weeks. The best cosmetic results emerge after 3 months. Data from Quartz Hospital shows that choosing an ISAPS-member surgeon reduces certain risks. This includes the risk of an unnatural, permanent indentation. These experienced specialists help dimples appear only when smiling as tissue softens.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey describe the procedure as quick and relatively painless. Most notice that results look quite deep early on. They then settle into a natural look. Experience shows follow-up care is vital for smooth healing while abroad.

What is the procedure for Dimple Creation Surgery (Dimpleplasty) in Turkey?

Dimple creation surgery in Turkey takes 30–60 minutes. It costs between $400 and $700. This procedure involves making a tiny incision inside the cheek under local anaesthesia. It leaves no external scars, and patients return to daily activities within 2 days.

  • Procedure method: Surgeons use dissolvable sutures to tether cheek muscles, creating natural-looking dimples.
  • Anaesthesia type: Local anaesthesia numbs the inner cheek area, keeping patients awake and comfortable.
  • Scarless results: All incisions occur inside the mouth, so there are no visible external marks.
  • Initial recovery: Dimples appear permanent for 2 weeks before softening to show only when smiling.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While base costs are low, all-inclusive packages around A$2,600 often provide better value. These bundles at clinics like Quartz Hospital include 4-star accommodation and VIP transfers. This simplifies logistics in a city where clinics serve over 6,500 patients annually.

Patient Consensus: Focus on clear communication with the surgical team. Join social groups to verify real outcomes. Check post-op support plans before leaving Turkey to get questions answered during the healing process.

Is the result of Dimple Creation Surgery in Turkey permanent?

Dimple creation surgery in Turkey is permanent. It involves creating a surgical bond between the cheek muscle and skin. This controlled scarring makes the indentation remain long-term. Specialists like Dr Ceren Durgun at Medipunto Clinic routinely perform this procedure. Results typically settle into a natural appearance within 6 to 12 months.

  • Surgical bond: Surgeons create a lasting connection between the buccinator muscle and overlying skin.
  • Settling period: Results initially appear visible constantly. They look natural only when smiling after healing.
  • Accredited facilities: Major Istanbul hospitals like Memorial Şişli maintain Joint Commission International (JCI) safety standards.
  • Tissue integration: Internal sutures eventually dissolve while permanent scar tissue maintains the dimple.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While basic dimpleplasty starts at $400, all-inclusive packages around A$2,600 often provide 2 nights in a 4-star hotel and private transfers. This model is common at high-volume centres like Quartz Hospital. They serve over 6,500 patients annually and specifically cater to Australian travellers.

Patient Consensus: Results in Turkey are considered a long-term structural change. They look most natural about a year after surgery. Patients recommend ignoring the initial tight feeling as tissues need time to settle into permanent, soft indentations.

Who is an ideal candidate for Dimple Creation Surgery in Turkey?

Ideal candidates for dimple creation in Turkey are healthy adults with a stable facial structure. They typically desire subtle, natural-looking cheek indentations. This permanent procedure suits non-smokers with healthy skin and clear anatomical goals that complement their smile.

  • Good general health: Candidates must be free from active infections or serious skin conditions around the cheeks.
  • Realistic expectations: Most patients seek a small enhancement rather than a dramatic facial transformation.
  • Adult facial development: Surgeons perform this elective surgery on adults whose facial structures have finished growing.
  • Professional surgical background: Top candidates choose surgeons like Dr. Ceren Durgun, who specialises in facial aesthetics.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many search for the lowest price, Bookimed data shows that clinics in Istanbul often bundle dimple creation with hotel stays. This provides a smoother recovery for Australians. A 2-night stay allows for a safe follow-up examination before flying home.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey report that seeking a subtle look leads to the best outcomes. They suggest confirming all package inclusions early and preparing for variable healing times between each cheek.

Why should Australian patients consider Turkey for Dimple Creation Surgery?

Australian patients consider Turkey for dimple creation surgery to access experienced cosmetic specialists and significant savings. Highly qualified surgeons perform this quick procedure in JCI-accredited hospitals. Costs typically range from $400 to $700. This offers up to 83% savings compared to Australia.

  • Extensive surgical expertise: Specialists like Dr. Ceren Durgun at Medipunto Clinic specialise in dimpleplasty.
  • Accredited medical facilities: Leading centres like Memorial Şişli Hospital and Lokman Hekim hold JCI accreditation.
  • Proven patient volume: Turkish clinics manage 73,000+ international patient requests annually, including many from Australia.
  • Simplified travel logistics: Clinics such as Soraca Med offer packages covering accommodation, transfers, and 24/7 monitoring.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While base procedure costs are very low, the best value for Australians is found in all-inclusive packages around A$2,600. Quartz Clinique serves 6,500+ patients annually. They bundle 4-star accommodation and VIP transfers. These bundles often prove cheaper and safer than booking separate hotels and transport in Istanbul.

Patient Consensus: Turkey offers value through bundled deals including surgery, hotels, and transfers. Patients appreciate the faster booking timelines compared to local Australian options. It is helpful to confirm which surgeon performs the operation. Also, verify the post-operative telehealth support before returning home.
