How Much Does Brow lift Cost in Turkey in AUD?

Brow lift surgery in Turkey typically costs from AUD $3,604 to AUD $5,622, with prices determined by surgical technique, clinic location, and package inclusions. In Australia, similar procedures cost around AUD $12,397 on average, allowing patients to save approximately 63%. Common inclusions involve VIP airport transfers, hotel accommodation, surgeon fees, and follow-up care.

  • Endoscopic techniques: typically cost 20–30% more than traditional open forehead lifts.
  • Main medical hubs: include Istanbul, Antalya, and Izmir, where the largest facilities operate.
  • Combined procedures: adding rhinoplasty or blepharoplasty significantly increases total package costs.
  • Clinic tier: premium JCI-accredited hospitals in Istanbul may charge 15–20% above regional clinics.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing a higher-tier package often provides superior value for Australians. For instance, packages at Dr. MED or Quartz Clinique frequently include 5 to 6 nights of hotel stay and full transfers. Some surgeons, like Dr. Hasan Sahin at Hisar Hospital Intercontinental, have performed over 12,000 procedures. This high volume often translates to more predictable outcomes for complex facial work.

Data verified by Bookimed as of July 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 221 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

I would definitely come again if I ever needed to
The team did everything they promised. Everything was well organized. I would definitely come again if I ever needed to.
What I liked the most was visiting the doctor’s office, when he gave me a lot of attention. That’s exactly what a person needs after surgery — the care and attention of a professional.
Postoperative care in the hospital. The nurses were supposed to take care of me, but I encountered complete indifference.

"I cannot be more happy with the result, after be thinking during a lot of time for do it, only I tell my self if I had known about this experience earlier, I will have done earlier
I arrive on Monday 15 of November afternoon and my surgery was on 16. I was very scared, because was my first surgery and I was alone. I passed my drama moment, but all the team of medical promise was close to me helping in everything. I made a endoscopic brow lift because my brows make me look tired and sad, but I don’t want look artificial or over correct. The hospital is really good and the attention cannot be better. My surgeon only I can tell is an artist and catch the idea what exactly I want. The surgeon is the doctor Cem Yildirim. Also I have the opportunity to know the wonderful city and people from Istanbul. Today is just 10 days after my surgery and I cannot be more happy with the result, after be thinking during a lot of time for do it, only I tell my self if I had known about this experience earlier, I will have done earlier. All my grateful to the doctor Cem Yildirim, Abdalah and all the team of Medical promise. Highly recommended. I share my pictures before surgery and after 10 days.

-He is the only doctor that I will trust my body with
I got my plastic surgery done at this hospital. The nurses and staff at Medical Promise hospital were incredibly attentive and caring. We communicated via Google translate very easily. I chose Bookimed and this facility because of the excellent plastic surgeon , Op. Dr. Hakan Teymur. His specialty is above a normal plastic surgeon as his specialty is both reconstructive and plastic surgeries. He listens to you attentively and has superb bedside manners. I did upper eyelid, canthoplasty or almond eye surgery, forehead lift, and fat transfer procedures. He did all of this with superb skill. He found a cyst under my eye that he took care of pro bono during surgery. I had no complication from any of the procedures. His skills are excellent and he is the only doctor that I will trust my body with. I should mention that he speaks multiple languages flawlessly-English being one of them. My medical coordinator Bakr, Suheib, manager Tariq, Urfa, Ahmet, and countless drivers who took me back and forth were excellent. Bakr, Urfa and Ahmet really went of their way to make me comfortable and happy. Choose Bookimed with this team and Dr. Teymur and you will be very satisfied. Trust this honest review as I am very picky when it comes to my body and health. Choose this team with confidence.

FAQ about Brow lift in Turkey

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

What should I expect in the first consultation for a brow lift in Turkey?

Initial consultations in Turkey typically occur immediately upon arrival, blending medical assessments with surgical planning. Surgeons like Dr Yavuz Özsular perform facial analysis, mark incision sites, and confirm techniques such as endoscopic lifts. Patients should expect pre-operative blood tests, health screenings, and face marking to happen within the same day.

  • Technique selection: Surgeons recommend endoscopic or surgical approaches based on brow position and forehead wrinkles.
  • Medical screening: Clinical teams run immediate blood tests and health checks to confirm surgical readiness.
  • Outcome mapping: Doctors mark patients’ faces to show intended lift heights and check facial symmetry.
  • Anaesthesia review: Consultations with anaesthetists confirm whether patients need general anaesthesia or sedation options.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Turkish specialists often perform over 4,000+ procedures, with some like Dr Selcuk Aytac exceeding 20,000 surgeries. This high volume allows them to integrate the consultation and surgery into a 24-hour window safely. Australian patients should focus on this “one-stop” arrival process. They should not expect a separate, lengthy discussion weeks before the procedure.

Patient Consensus: Patients found the immediate marking and testing efficient despite feeling nervous about the quick timeline. Using Google Translate worked well. The dedicated coordinators made the fast-paced medical process feel like an organised five-star hotel experience.

How long does a brow lift operation in Turkey take, and what is the recovery time?

A brow lift in Turkey typically takes 1 to 3 hours to complete. Patients generally require 10 to 14 days of initial downtime in Istanbul before flying. Light activities resume quickly. However, full internal healing and complete facial stabilisation can take 1 to 2 years.

  • Procedure duration: Surgery lasts 1–3 hours depending on whether endoscopic or traditional techniques are used.
  • Hospital stay: Most patients stay 0–1 days in hospital followed by 5–7 days in a hotel.
  • Initial downtime: Significant swelling, bruising, and tightness typically persist for the first 10–14 days.
  • Work return: Most patients feel comfortable returning to office-based jobs within 3 to 4 weeks.
  • Physical activity: Avoid heavy lifting for 1 month and resume gym exercises after 4 weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Data shows a major difference between social readiness and full recovery. Patients can fly home after 8 days. However, facial nerves often take 6–7 weeks to settle. Leading surgeons like Dr. Ugur Horoz at Dr. MED provide compression garments. These manage the specific 2-month swelling phase.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey report looking really good by 6 weeks. They can expect temporary numbness in the scalp. They may also notice a cat-like eye appearance. This happens while the initial tight swelling settles during the first month.

Will there be visible scarring after a brow lift in Turkey?

In Turkey, brow lift scarring is usually hidden behind the hairline. It may also be concealed in natural forehead creases. Surgeons frequently use endoscopic techniques involving small incisions that remain concealed by hair. While scars are permanent, they usually fade to near-invisibility within 6 to 12 months.

  • Endoscopic method: Surgeons at clinics like Dr. MED use 1 centimetre incisions hidden within the hair.
  • Strategic placement: Incisions for traditional lifts are positioned along the hairline to mask surgical marks.
  • Healing timeline: Scars typically transition from pink and raised to thin, pale lines over one year.
  • Surgeon expertise: Experienced specialists like Dr. Hasan Sahin have performed 12,000+ procedures with precision.
  • Direct brow lifts: Small incisions are placed above the eyebrows. This technique is usually reserved for patients with thick hair.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Our review of over 128,000 requests shows a preference. Turkish clinics with 97% success rates, like Dr. MED, prefer endoscopic methods. This technology significantly reduces the risk of visible scarring compared to older, open-brow techniques. High-volume centres often bundle year-long aftercare. This is vital for monitoring scar maturation after patients return to Australia.

Patient Consensus: Scars hidden in the hairline often fade completely within months. Many patients feel confident in public after one week. They love their refreshed, natural look. Some notice tiny incision points initially. These are easily masked by fuller brows or hair styling.

Will my expression change, or will I look surprised after a brow lift in Turkey?

Modern brow lift techniques in Turkey produce refreshed, natural results rather than a permanently surprised look. Surgeons use endoscopic methods to subtly elevate the lateral brow and smooth forehead lines. This rejuvenated appearance preserves facial identity while eliminating a heavy, tired, or stern expression.

  • Technique precision: Endoscopic lifts allow subtle elevation without the aggressive over-correction typical of older methods.
  • Settling period: Temporary surprised or cat-eye appearances usually resolve within weeks as swelling peaks and subsides.
  • Natural movement: Key facial expressions remain intact. Surgeons focus on lifting sagging tissue, not freezing muscles.
  • Longevity expectations: Aesthetic results take 3–6 months to fully settle. Some minor regression is normal.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many clinics claim permanent results, data shows the most natural-looking outcomes often settle more than expected. Surgeons like Dr. Hasan Sahin at Hisar Hospital have performed 12,000+ procedures. Their high volume suggests mastery of tension that avoids the pulled, surgical look patients fear.

Patient Consensus: Expect swelling to peak early. Most patients report looking like themselves again by week 10. Initial results can look tight. Expressions become natural as healing progresses during the Istanbul holiday.

Will the eyebrows fall again after a brow lift in Turkey?

Eyebrows will not fall back to their original position after a brow lift in Turkey, though natural ageing continues. Surgical lifting provides long-lasting results for 10–15+ years. Surgeons in Istanbul use endoscopic or direct techniques to secure tissues. This ensures the brows settle into a stable, elevated position after initial swelling subsides.

  • Surgical longevity: Results typically last 10–15 years before natural skin laxity causes minor changes.
  • Settling process: Brows appear higher initially. They settle into final positions around 2 months post-op.
  • Technique stability: Direct brow lifts offer permanent position changes beyond subtle ageing effects over decades.
  • Stabilisation period: Final aesthetic outcomes take 1.5–2 years to fully stabilise after deep tissue healing.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While many Australian patients expect immediate results, Bookimed data shows that premium Turkish packages often include 12 months of aftercare. This is vital because the face takes up to 2 years to fully stabilise after a surgical lift. Some all-inclusive options like those at Dr. MED even include compression garments to help secure tissues during the critical early healing phase.

Patient Consensus: Patients describe feeling relieved that the tired or sad look disappeared after surgery in Turkey. They noted that using Google Translate made communicating with attentive nurses simple, while the VIP transfers made the recovery process much smoother.

What questions should I ask my Turkish surgeon during a brow lift consultation?

Direct your consultation toward technique longevity, surgical board certifications, and detailed aftercare protocols. Ask about endoscopic methods to minimise scarring. Also, inquire about surgeon volume, looking for specialists who have performed thousands of procedures. Confirm inclusions like VIP transfers, compression garments, and hotel stays before arrival.

  • Surgical technique: Ask why endoscopic 4-point scalp incisions are recommended for your anatomy.
  • Clinical credentials: Verify ISAPS membership or EBOPRAS certification to confirm international surgical standards.
  • Specific experience: Confirm if the surgeon has performed 4,000+ operations like many Istanbul specialists.
  • Result longevity: Ask how they prevent muscle tension from causing brow reversion after surgery.
  • Recovery expectations: Ask about managing scalp numbness and shooting pains during the first weeks.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Istanbul clinics offer all-inclusive packages around $2,500 to $3,900. These frequently include 5–7 nights in a hotel. This extended stay is crucial for brow lifts. Patients often report significant swelling for several weeks. Staying longer allows for a final post-operative check before your flight home.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey highlight the importance of clear communication about desired outcomes. They suggest using translation apps and making sure the surgeon understands your specific aesthetic goals. Many felt relieved having 24/7 support from their medical coordinators throughout the recovery phase.

Why is Turkey a popular destination for a brow lift?

Turkey is a popular destination for brow lifts. It offers highly experienced surgeons, JCI-accredited facilities, and all-inclusive packages. Patients access endoscopic techniques at costs from $2,500 to $3,900. They save up to 63% compared to the $8,600 Australian average.

  • Specialised expertise: Surgeons such as Dr. Hasan Sahin have performed over 12,000+ procedures.
  • Global standards: Hospitals like Hisar Intercontinental and Memorial Şişli maintain prestigious JCI accreditation.
  • Proven results: Clinics like Dr. MED report a 97% success rate for facial surgeries.
  • Complete care: Packages bundle surgery, 4–5 star hotels, VIP transfers, and follow-up examinations.
  • Rapid recovery: Endoscopic methods often allow patients to be mobile within 24–48 hours.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Istanbul clinics often charge A$5,000 to A$8,000. However, choosing Antalya or Ankara can provide better value without sacrificing quality. Surgeons with European Board (EBOPRAS) certification, like Dr. Aysel Pasazade, have training that meets strict international benchmarks. This appeals to Australian patients.

Patient Consensus: Patients report looking refreshed rather than artificial when surgeons catch their exact aesthetic idea. The organisation of drivers, hotels, and aftercare makes solo travel feel safe. Using translation apps helps bridge the gap when nursing staff speak limited English.

What is an endoscopic brow lift (a popular method in Turkey)?

An endoscopic brow lift in Turkey is a minimally invasive surgery. It uses a tiny camera to elevate sagging brows. The procedure involves 3–5 small incisions hidden behind the hairline. This method avoids the long scars of traditional open lifts. It also addresses forehead wrinkles and heavy eyelids.

  • Surgical technique: Surgeons use an endoscope to reposition tissue without removing large sections of skin.
  • Incision profile: Tiny 1–2 centimetre incisions remain concealed within the hair for minimal visible scarring.
  • Operating time: The procedure typically takes 45–60 minutes under general anaesthesia or deep sedation.
  • Hospital stay: Most patients require 0–1 days in hospital followed by 5–7 hotel nights.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Turkish clinics mention permanence. However, data suggests the endoscopic method prioritises a natural look over extreme longevity. For patients seeking the most durable elevation, specialists like Dr. Yavuz Özsular often suggest a forehead lift. This procedure typically costs between $5,000 and $7,800.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Turkey appreciate the refreshed, non-artificial look. They often combine the lift with eyelid surgery for total facial harmony. Many found that using Google Translate helped them communicate easily. The nursing staff were attentive during their initial recovery.
