Hi, I'm Cella, and I’m living in Bali, Indonesia. I’d like to share an honest review based on my experience of finding a medical coordinator, a doctor, and a hospital for my case. I was recently diagnosed with an ovarian cyst and stage 4 endometriosis, which required surgery as soon as possible. I was initially hospitalized in Bali, but the doctor there suggested I look for a better-equipped hospital as they didn’t have the necessary facilities to perform my surgery. It wasn’t easy to find the right care on a small island like Bali. Thankfully, my best friend helped me connect with a medical manager from Bookimed. That’s how we found Alisher, the medical manager and Prof. Dr. A Cem Iyibozkurt from Florence Nightingale Hospital in Istanbul. We arranged an online consultation with the doctor, which was free of charge, I already have all my medical records and MRI results before an online consultation, I’ve prepared everything to speed up the process. and within a week, they scheduled my laparoscopic robotic surgery. Alisher did an excellent job coordinating everything, and I couldn’t be happier with him. Prof. Dr. Cem Iyibozkurt is an amazing doctor, highly experienced, and well-known for his expertise in the field. The hospital itself was fantastic—the nurses and staff took great care of me. I’m really grateful for the smooth process, and I highly recommend them to anyone who may be in a similar situation and looking for this kind of care and has similar situation as mine.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Hisar Hospital Intercontinental in Istanbul for the high professionalism, attentiveness and care shown at every stage of my treatment. I underwent hysteroscopic removal of several endometrial polyps, including one large one measuring 3 cm. Everything went perfectly - from the initial consultation to the surgery and post-operative care. Special thanks to my doctor - Op. Dr Berna Buse Kobal. She inspired confidence from the very beginning, explained everything calmly and clearly, acted very carefully and confidently. After the operation I felt great, without pain or discomfort. The nurses and all the staff of the clinic were very attentive and helpful. The atmosphere in the hospital is clean, modern, comfortable and absolutely safe. I would also like to thank Julia, a Bookimed employee, who helped me with counselling and organising the trip. We made the decision literally at the last moment: we were informed from Dushanbe in the evening, flew out at night, and already in the morning I was in the clinic. Everything was organised perfectly - meeting, hospitalisation, surgery on the same day, and in the evening I was already relaxing in the hotel and feeling great. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors

From the start to finish, everything was perfect. I have used different clinics and hospitals in turkey but the service provided here and the care of the doctors has been the best. Aliser and Ayperi were both very caring and help with translation, Aliser was there helping with every need was very humble and caring nature. All the nurses and doctor main concern was the help and our comfort, one nurse who we thanked said no don't thank me it's my job. The doctors visited us everyday to check up and would care for all our needs, even the outpatient admin came to see if everything is ok then said she will speak to the nurses even though it wasn't her job. The airport transportation, pick up and drop off were punctual, room was spacious, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned multiple times a day and food was provided which was tasty considering its hospital. It definitely deserves 10/10 not because of the facilities but because of the staff who run the place from the cleaning staff all the way to the doctors.

I am currently in the recovery process, and even post-intervention, she consistently checks in on me to see how I am doing. She is a very attentive and wonderful person. The airport-clinic transfer and return was conducted flawlessly at a VIP level. The staff at Lokman Hekim Clinic acted promptly and admitted me immediately. The interpreter was ideal, providing great emotional support. Dr. Elif Esra Uyar exceeded my expectations; she paid close attention to everything. I had a problem I had been putting off for several years, and she helped me resolve it, promising that I would become a mother within three months, which gives me immense hope. If I am unable to conceive on my own, she advised me to return to the clinic for assistance with treatment to fulfill my cherished dream. I will certainly return if needed!! What I liked most was that the staff at the clinic were attentive at all times and I was taken very good care of during the days I was admitted.

I'm feeling better than expected

My main concern was the possibility of hidden costs, but I can confirm there were no additional expenses on top of the quoted price. My procedure was for the labia minora only. I found the clinic to be "nice and clean, great service," with "excellent doctors." They provided a clear aftercare guide and have been easy to reach, staying in touch throughout my early recovery. It is going well. In fact, I'm feeling better than expected. My main advice is to make sure you schedule the right procedures and contact the clinic to confirm all details before you arrive.
