What I particularly valued was the continuity of care from the surgeon
If you're researching laser eye surgery, the small details of the process are what matter. I opted for the TransPRK procedure. The clinic's protocol involved operating on each of my eyes on separate days, which I viewed as a careful and methodical approach to the surgery. What I particularly valued was the continuity of care from the surgeon. They personally handled every single one of my checkups, from the first consultation to all the follow-up appointments, ensuring I was seeing the same expert throughout. That was important. As I'm still in the early recovery phase, having a clear aftercare guide has been essential, and the one provided was very comprehensive. From a practical standpoint, every aspect of the service, including the surgeon, the support staff, and the clinic environment, was well-executed and professional.

The recovery so far is better than expected
If you're considering this procedure, my main advice is to bring a physical card for payment. I used Apple Pay, which had a low transaction limit and forced me to make about 20 separate payments to cover the cost. Medically, everything was straightforward. I had lens replacement in both eyes on the same day, and the recovery so far is better than expected. my doctor, who took the time to explain which technique suited my eyes and was very honest about the realistic vision outcome I could anticipate. I must also say a huge thank you to the night nurse ( mirve ) I think was her name she was outstanding and took good care of me . It was reassuring that there were no additional expenses. The one thing to note is that there was little contact from the clinic after I left, but the core service was solid.
I can’t speak highly enough of the treatment from all staff especially mirve who looked after me through the night she came every hour to do my drops until I asked her to come at 6.00 in morning she gave me an extension number incase I needed anything before six , which I did at 5.00am she immediately came to my room and sorted my issue the operation went perfect and after only two days I can see better than I have in the last 18 years 👌👍👌 thank you everyone

Overall I have to give the bookimed team a top rating
The staff at Bookimed from the initial off-set answered all my questions, queries promptly. I was nervous with feelings swaying about my treatment. Upon arrival in Turkey from the airport transfer onwards, I have got to say all doubts were a contrast as to what I witnessed and to the treatment I received. On the first day the hotel staff were welcoming by the way I stayed local to VMH University Hospital Istanbul Besyol, at a budget I chose the World Point Hotel 700 meters away (Ramada Hotel was even closer.) I'm not arguing with what I paid, hygiene, cleanliness, manners, availability of staff, room, I got and witnessed. The transfer to the Hospital l walked with my translator, who put all my nerves and questions I had to bed, I must say I felt alot better. On arrival I was astounded, the smell of freshness, clean, I had to ask the translator how many floors 9 was the reply, Big, busy different ethnicities different cultures, vast array of people from all parts of the world, I felt comfortable. The level of equipment, the Doctors, staff members would not go amiss in any Country. The treatment I received the interaction which you have with the Doctor was of great effect to me as the knowledge about my treatment gained was instrumental in what was to happen. Overall I have to give the bookimed team a top rating. I would recommend anyone who is thinking of surgery abroad of any kind to get in touch with them, I can assure you, you will not be disappointed. Thank you.

I am very satisfied and definitely recommend Bookimed and this clinic
I would like to mention the professionalism and attentiveness of the consultant Liana - she did a great job! I was also pleasantly surprised by the clinic's service. I was met at the airport at night, picked up from the hotel in the morning and brought to the clinic. Payment was quick and in 20 minutes I was accompanied by an interpreter who was a real professional. In just two hours I had a full examination, and already at 14:00 the operation took place. I bore it easily - I was able to go for a walk in the evening. My eyesight started to improve, although it still takes time to fully stabilise. I am very satisfied and definitely recommend Bookimed and this clinic
The service provided by the counsellor Liana and the quality of the clinic itself

It's just an incredible feeling!
From the first consultation to the postoperative period, everything was organised at the highest level! The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the modern equipment and the high level of professionalism of the doctors. Before the operation, I underwent a detailed diagnosis, which helped to determine the best method of correction for my case. The doctor explained everything in detail, answered all my questions and dispelled my doubts. The operation was quick and painless! It took only 10-15 minutes, and my quality of life changed forever. During the procedure, the doctor constantly explained what was happening, which helped me to relax. After the correction, I was given all the necessary recommendations and medicines for a quick recovery. I especially want to note the comfort and attention of the staff. From the moment I arrived until my last visit, I felt in good hands. Everything in the clinic is very clean, modern and well thought out. A few days after the operation, my vision improved significantly, and now I can see perfectly without glasses or lenses! It's just an incredible feeling! If you are hesitating, do not hesitate! I sincerely recommend this clinic to anyone who wants to have laser vision correction in a comfortable environment and with the best doctors. This is an investment in your health and quality of life!
My doctor Ibrahim Yasar was a true professional! From the first consultation, he inspired confidence with his experience, attentiveness and calmness. ✅ He explained the whole process in detail - I got answers to all my questions, and this helped me get rid of the excitement before the operation. ✅ Individual approach - he chose the best method of laser correction for my case. ✅ High level of skill - the operation was quick, painless, and the result is just great! ✅ Support after the procedure - the doctor provided detailed recommendations for recovery and monitored my condition in the postoperative period. I am very grateful to him for the excellent result! This is a doctor whom you can trust with your eyesight without any doubts
About Bookimed service
Bookimed is the best choice for medical tourism! I recently contacted Bookimed to have laser vision correction in Istanbul and I want to share my invaluable experience. If you are looking for a reliable partner to organise a medical trip abroad, don't hesitate - this is the best choice! From the very first contact, I was impressed by the almost round-the-clock support. The Bookimed team is always in touch, answering all questions and helping at every stage. I especially want to mention the manager Adam - an incredibly friendly, patient and professional person. He not only found me a clinic and a doctor, but also explained all the nuances of the operation, took into account my wishes and reassured me when it was necessary. One of the main advantages of working with Bookimed is the expert approach to choosing a doctor and a correction method. I was matched with the best specialist in Istanbul, who had excellent reviews and many years of experience in laser correction. At the same time, the price was lower than if I had gone to the clinic directly! Another important point is the full support with an interpreter. At every stage, I had access to a professional translator, which made communication with doctors and staff as comfortable as possible. The organisation of the trip was thought out to the smallest detail: ✔ Selection of a clinic and a doctor based on my budget and wishes. ✔ Free transfer, even at night - I was met at the airport and brought to the hotel. ✔ Choosing the best price and payment method - I could choose any convenient payment format. Access to any city and country, not just one option. The transaction was successful, and the whole process was comfortable and stress-free thanks to Bookimed's clear organisation. I am sincerely grateful to the company for their care, professional approach and honesty. If you are looking for the best doctors, the best prices and full support, Bookimed will be your reliable guide to the world of quality medicine! I recommend it 100%!

In general, I can safely recommend this clinic for such procedures, the attending doctor and Bookimrd service
My impressions of the trip were extremely positive. From the organisation of the trip with the manager Ekaterina, to the transfer to the airport. I had the operation on the day of my arrival. I was accompanied by an interpreter at all stages. The procedure itself was quick and painless. The attending doctor Dr İBRAHİM YAŞAR was very pleased. Competent specialist, pleasant and communicative. After the operation I had two more days for recovery. The ward was very comfortable and clean, the staff was friendly and attentive. 3 meals a day. In general, I can safely recommend this clinic for such procedures, the attending doctor and Bookimrd service.
Competence of doctors, attentiveness of staff. Work of the interpreter. Quick solution of all organisational issues.
Slight delay in receiving invoices and documentation. Minor errors in completion.

I highly recommend this clinic
My entire trip to Istanbul was well organised from the very start: the transfer from the airport to the clinic, the interpreter, and the competence of the staff and the doctor. I really appreciated that the doctor calmly and without any fuss explained what was going to be done and which procedure would be best for me. The interpreter was also very good; overall, the examination and operation went quickly (and painlessly). I highly recommend this clinic. For the money, you get good service and, above all, a high-quality operation. Thank you 🤩
The clinic is excellent – I highly recommend it. The staff take great care of their patients. The doctor is highly competent and provided a great deal of information about the treatment and rehabilitation. After a painless operation, my vision had already improved by the evening. A week has now passed and I am very satisfied; I’ve had no problems at all during this time, my vision is good and I’m happy. Thank you for everything))

- I'm still considering the alternative option I was offered and hope to go back to the clinic when I eventually make a decision
I went to Veni Vidi Goz Antalya for a laser eye surgery. Unfortunately I couldn’t do the surgery due to my thin cornea. However I had a great experience interacting with the staff. I got a detailed explanation on why I couldn’t do the surgery as well as possible alternatives. Dr Ugur Balci and Ania Sebai were amazing. I’m still considering the alternative option I was offered and hope to go back to the clinic when I eventually make a decision.

And the clinic, staff, treatment and support were at the highest level
I liked everything except the meeting at the airport, we waited more than an hour for the transfer. And the clinic, staff, treatment and support were at the highest level.
Translator Tetiana helped with any questions, even when I needed medicine for my throat, she called a pharmacist who brought the medicine directly to the ward. When I needed sunglasses (after correction, they were needed), she took me to the optician and helped with the selection and translation.
