If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B
Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. If you're travelling to Bangkok and need fast and quality care, I would highly recommend using Bookimed to set up an appointment and going to B. Care Medical Center for your medical needs.

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.
Josh and team had fantastic thorough communication
Not sure... give me extra stem cells. Maybe have more food?

It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Jawline Contouring in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Is it safe to have jawline contouring surgery in Thailand?

Jawline contouring surgery in Thailand is generally safe when performed at reputable clinics with certified surgeons. Facilities like Asia Cosmetic Hospital and Wansiri Hospital hold Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, meeting international safety standards. Experienced surgeons use modern techniques, including custom PMMA implants and non-surgical contouring.

  • Surgeon qualifications: Certified by Medical Council of Thailand or Royal College of Surgeons Thailand.
  • Clinic accreditation: Asia Cosmetic Hospital and Bumrungrad International hold JCI accreditation.
  • Surgical options: Include bone chiselling, implant placement, and non-surgical Botox or fillers.
  • Recovery care: Includes hyperbaric oxygen therapy and 24-hour nursing in private rooms.
  • Risks: Swelling may delay results for 2+ weeks; infection risk rises with hot climates.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics like Asia Cosmetic Hospital have 0% reported post-surgery complications, a rare find in the region. Confirm if surgery involves surgical bone work or non-surgical contouring to match safety expectations. Bangkok hospitals treat thousands of international patients yearly, including Australians, offering strong expertise and facilities.

Patient Consensus: Many Australians found Thailand safe for jawline contouring, especially at well-known hospitals. Patients value clear results with custom implants and thorough follow-up care during their stay. Swelling in the first two weeks is common, so planning recovery time in Thailand is advised.

Are Thai surgeons experienced in performing jawline contouring procedures in Thailand?

Thai surgeons are well experienced in jawline contouring, especially jaw implant procedures using silicone, polyethylene, or PEEK materials. Major Bangkok hospitals like ID Clinic and Asia Cosmetic Hospital frequently perform these surgeries to international standards. Bone reduction is less common in Thailand, with more focus on implant and facial shaping methods.

  • Surgical techniques: Jaw implants, bone contouring, fat transfer, face lifting available.
  • Top clinics: Asia Cosmetic Hospital (JCI, ISAPS), ID Clinic (Royal College accreditation).
  • Experienced surgeons: Dr Chen Chaicharncheep trained in Korea, Singapore and Italy.
  • High patient volume: Clinics serve thousands of patients annually in Bangkok.
  • Non-surgical options: Botox and fillers also offered for jawline refinement.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Most Thai surgeons focus on implants over bone shaving, unlike Korean clinics where bone reduction is common. Bangkok centres like ID Clinic and Asia Cosmetic Hospital attract thousands yearly, balancing advanced training and international accreditations. Checking surgeon experience with implant materials improves outcomes.

Patient Consensus: Patients find Thai surgeons skilled with implants and corrective jaw surgeries. Bangkok hospitals stand out for trusted facial contouring. Many advise having video or in-person consultations to confirm surgeon expertise before booking.

What types of jawline contouring procedures are available in Thailand?

Thailand offers several jawline contouring options, including non-surgical treatments like fillers, Botox, and HIFU, plus surgical methods such as jawline liposuction, mentoplasty, and jaw reduction. These procedures reshape bone, remove fat, or tighten skin for a stronger jawline.

  • Non-surgical treatments: fillers, Botox, HIFU, Ultraformer for skin tightening
  • Surgical procedures: jaw liposuction, mentoplasty, genioplasty, V-line jaw reduction
  • Mini facelift sometimes combined with liposuction to lift sagging skin
  • IV sedation used for liposuction; general anaesthesia for bone surgeries
  • Swelling lasts about 2 weeks; compression garments needed after liposuction

Bookimed Expert Insight: Non-surgical options dominate Thailand’s market with quick 30-minute treatments, making them an easy first step before surgery. Surgical procedures are best done in larger hospitals for safety and clear care. Clinics with experienced surgeons like Dr Chen Chaicharncheep combine advanced bone contouring with modern non-invasive methods.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand praise fast results from fillers and HIFU during brief clinic visits. Surgical clients find liposuction effective but expect swelling and a two-week recovery. Many start with non-surgical treatments to preview their new jawline before committing to surgery.

What is the typical recovery time for jawline contouring surgery in Thailand?

Jawline contouring recovery in Thailand typically involves 1 to 2 weeks of initial swelling and tightness, with discomfort lasting at least 3 weeks. Final jawline results appear about 1 month after surgery, while full normal feeling can take up to 6 months. Follow-up visits usually occur around 5 weeks.

  • Initial swelling and tightness last 1–2 weeks post-surgery.
  • Stiffness and discomfort persist for at least 3 weeks.
  • Final settled results show about 1 month after surgery.
  • Complete normal sensation returns within 6 months.
  • Follow-up visit recommended around 5 weeks to check healing.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many patients plan a 10–14 day stay in Bangkok to reduce risks from long flights and ensure safe recovery. Some clinics like Dr. Chen Surgery Hospital offer 24-hour nursing and VIP transfers, smoothing the healing period for international patients. Swelling control may include steroid injections at follow-up.

Patient Consensus: Patients say swelling and tightness peak in the first two weeks. Most advise avoiding strenuous activity and sightseeing early on. Sleeping with head elevated helps swelling, and resting fully is key for smooth recovery in Thailand.

Which clinics and hospitals in Bangkok are recommended for jawline contouring surgery in Thailand?

Recommended clinics and hospitals for jawline contouring surgery in Bangkok include Wansiri Hospital, ID Clinic Bangkok, and Bumrungrad International Hospital. These facilities offer surgical and non-surgical options with advanced imaging and JCI accreditation, ensuring top quality and safety for patients.

  • Wansiri Hospital: 30 certified doctors, clean room theatres, full facial reconstruction.
  • ID Clinic Bangkok: Royal College of Surgeons Thailand accredited, treats 4,000 adults yearly.
  • Bumrungrad International Hospital: JCI-accredited, advanced imaging, robotic surgery options.
  • Dr Chen Surgery Hospital: Swiss 3D facial scanning, hyperbaric oxygen therapy for swelling.
  • Asia Cosmetic Hospital: ISAPS-certified surgeons, zero post-surgery complications reported.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Clinics like Wansiri and Bumrungrad blend advanced tech with large surgical teams. This is crucial for complex cases. ID Clinic attracts many Australian patients, but post-op care varies. Confirming follow-up services is key. Surgical jaw implants often use custom PMMA material for precise contouring.

Patient Consensus: Many in Thailand prefer surgical jaw implants with 3D pre-planning. Non-surgical options like Botox and fillers offer quick results but are temporary. Australians highlight the importance of scheduling surgery early in their stay to allow recovery time before flying home.
