How Much Does Cryolipolysis (Coolsculpting) Cost in Thailand in AUD?

Cryolipolysis (Coolsculpting) in Thailand typically costs from AUD $139 / ฿A4,735 to AUD $557 / ฿A18,938. Pricing depends on the number of treatment cycles, body areas targeted, and the specific applicator technology used. Australians pay approximately AUD $4,456 / ฿A151,508 for similar treatments at home, meaning they can save around 94% in Thailand. Most Thai clinics include a medical consultation and BMI analysis in the initial price.

  • Coolsculpting for male chest: AUD $1,393 / ฿A47,346 to AUD $2,785 / ฿A94,692 for treating gynaecomastia.
  • Higher-tier hospitals: Certified facilities like Yanhee International Hospital often charge 30–50% more than boutique clinics.
  • Multi-cycle packages: Booking four or more sessions typically reduces the per-area cost by 15–20%.
  • Advanced applicators: Newer technology like CoolAdvantage usually carries a 20% premium over older, hour-long protocols.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Savvy travellers can find exceptional value by looking for bulk-cycle deals in Bangkok. For instance, He Clinic Bangkok offers high-volume 12-pad packages for approximately A$1,300. This is ideal for those targeting multiple areas. Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok and Wansiri Hospital are particularly popular with Australians due to their high success rates and globally recognised standards.

Data verified by Bookimed as of August 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 54 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

I went to this clinic to get medical care. The very high price could be justified by this type of treatment. The medical team were present, but no parameters were taken either before or after the treatment. I don't think that customer satisfaction is the objective, the aim is above all to make people spend money unnecessarily. I would not recommend this clinic

The staff deserves a special mention for being so supportive
One of my biggest worries was the potential for hidden costs, but I was relieved to find there were no additional expenses on top of what the clinic quoted. The staff deserves a special mention for being so supportive. They've stayed in touch and have been very easy to reach, which is reassuring during recovery from my traditional liposuction on two areas. What stood out about my surgeon was how carefully he marked the areas before we went into the operating room. My recovery is going about as expected so far. The whole process was handled professionally.

My strongest feeling right now is one of being disappointed and scammed. The total costs nearly doubled, jumping from the $2000 USD Bookimed total to $5000 once I was at the clinic. The fractional CO2 laser treatment I received on my face and neck also wasn't what I originally requested; the doctor suggested changing it only after I had already arrived, which should have been communicated much earlier. While the clinic staff themselves were fine and have stayed in touch, the experience with the surgeon and the finances was poor. Make sure the treatment promised on Bookimed is the same one you're getting at the clinic. I would avoid this dermatologist and Wansiri.
The customer service at the clinic was great and the staff was very kind.
Patient Complaint Regarding Treatment Plan and Communication at Wansiri I am documenting my concerns regarding the communication, treatment planning, and services I received at Wansiri. Before my appointment, I specifically requested the following treatments: * Ablative CO2 laser treatment for the full face and décolletage * Ultherapy for the full face The estimated total cost discussed was approximately USD 2,000. The doctor agreed to this proposed treatment plan, and I confirmed that I wished to proceed based on that agreement. However, on the day of the scheduled treatment, the doctor informed me that she did not want to perform any CO2 laser treatment on my face. This was a significant change from the treatment plan that had previously been discussed and agreed upon. Instead, the doctor and coordinator recommended a different package consisting of: * Thermage treatment around the eyes * Ultherapy for the full face * Microneedling The revised package cost approximately USD 5,000, which was more than double the original estimate. My primary concerns were not adequately addressed. In particular: * No CO2 laser treatment was performed on my face. * No treatment was provided for my décolletage. * The crepey skin around my eyes, which was one of my main concerns, was not adequately addressed. * The treatment plan was substantially changed on the day of the procedure, after I had already traveled to and committed to receiving treatment at the clinic. * The reasons for changing the original treatment plan were not clearly explained before the appointment. * I was presented with considerably more expensive alternatives without adequate time to consider the change or seek another medical opinion. I relied on the doctor’s prior agreement when deciding to proceed with treatment at Wansiri. Had I been informed in advance that the doctor would not perform CO2 laser treatment on my face or décolletage, I could have reconsidered the appointment, consulted another provider, or made a more informed decision. As a result, I felt pressured into accepting a treatment package that was significantly more expensive than the original estimate and that did not adequately address the skin concerns for which I sought treatment. I left feeling that the communication had been misleading and that I had not received the treatment plan I had originally agreed to. I believe communication between the doctor, coordinator, and patient should be improved. Any changes to an agreed treatment plan, particularly changes involving substantially different procedures and costs, should be clearly communicated before the patient arrives for treatment. I am requesting a written explanation of: 1. Why the originally agreed CO2 laser treatment was declined on the day of treatment. 2. Why I was not informed of this change before the appointment. 3. Why no treatment was provided for my décolletage. 4. How the recommended treatments were intended to address the crepey skin around my eyes. 5. Why the final cost increased from approximately USD 2,000 to approximately USD 5,000. 6. What resolution or compensation the clinic proposes regarding the difference between the agreed treatment plan and the services ultimately provided.

Everything went so smoothly and I was well taken care of upon arrival. B. Care Medical Center is very clean and beautiful. The medical team were very professional and thorough and warm and welcoming. Prices were very reasonable and they went above and beyond to give me more treatment than I had asked for. Bookimed was also very easy to use, response time was quick and easy and all my questions were answered promptly. It was a terrible experience which I never want to go through again. Upon arrival at the hospital, the consultant , Jeab who led me there was not present to receive me. Instead I was attended by the medical sstaff who flatly shot down the agreed quotations offered by Jeab and even said they do not need the VDO anymore so they could not offer me what Jeab did and I was told I had to pay 3 times the proce of what I was offered before. Consequent to the price dispute, there were lots of bleak moments between the consultant and the medical staff internally then I was made to wait for over two hours then they suddenly reversed to ask for VDO compromised on an agreed price. I repeated said no to revealing my face for the VDO and the secretary Kimmy assured me my face will not be shown on camera. Prior to seeing the doctor, I was told to made payment first. For every doctor consultation, I had to go to the cashier to complete the payment and I was seeing two different doctors meant I had to repeat same process twice touring the entire medical centre so many times. What was most stupid was that I was never informed that I had to pay out of pocket for the Covid-9 test which I deem really unfair when there was konsixh prior information and they just dumped all the hidden cost on me. I only did the arm Vader+body tite along with pick laser for vaginal and I was made to go from building to building spending 7 hours there the entire day is really uncalled for!!!

The team followed through on every detail discussed
Sitting in the consultation room while the surgeon explained the precise use of 50-100 million umbilical cord stem cells gave me a clear sense of the technical path ahead. Fifteen days after the treatment, I am already noticing some improvement in my overall physical state. The application was smooth, and I experienced no injection site reactions or inflammatory flare-ups afterward. Recovery is just beginning. Every interaction with the clinic staff was handled with professional efficiency, ensuring that the logistical side of the medical travel was as controlled as the procedure itself. It is important to stay patient during this early window while the body starts to respond to the cells. The team followed through on every detail discussed.

I'm pleased I went there
Well it's been about a month and I'm still recovering but I'm pleased I went there.
The people were nice
What I didn't like wasn't to do with the place or people. I went through quite a painful procedure getting rid of rather a lot of moles and I almost wished I hadn't when I was in pain. It's all changed now that I'm healing.

FAQ about Cryolipolysis (Coolsculpting) in Thailand

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

Is CoolSculpting (cryolipolysis) safe when performed in clinics in Thailand?

Cryolipolysis in Thailand is safe when performed in accredited medical facilities using genuine, FDA-cleared technology. Patients avoid risks by choosing JCI-accredited hospitals like Yanhee International or specialist dermatology centres. These clinics employ board-certified specialists to supervise treatments and manage rare side effects like paradoxical adipose hyperplasia.

  • Accredited facilities: JCI-accredited hospitals like Yanhee follow rigorous safety and hygiene standards.
  • Qualified supervision: Clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok employ specialists from the Royal College of Surgeons.
  • Device integrity: Authentic CoolSculpting machines include thermal sensors to prevent frostbite and skin burns.
  • Clinical oversight: Reputable centres take baseline parameters and explain safety protocols before starting treatment.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Cryolipolysis is a non-surgical procedure, high-volume centres in Bangkok offer reliable safety. Yanhee International Hospital treats 450,000 patients annually and maintains ISO certification. This scale means staff are highly proficient at identifying candidates at risk of rare complications.

Patient Consensus: Patients find that choosing proper medical clinics with doctor oversight results in a professional experience. They suggest confirming the specific device branding and planning for some temporary numbness or bruising.

Who is considered a suitable candidate for CoolSculpting in Thailand?

Suitable candidates for CoolSculpting in Thailand are near their target weight. They have stubborn, pinchable fat pockets on the abdomen, flanks, or thighs. This non-surgical treatment suits those with stable BMIs. It offers body contouring without the downtime of traditional liposuction or surgery.

  • Weight stability: Candidates should be close to their ideal weight with a stable lifestyle.
  • Pinchable fat: Treatment works best on subcutaneous fat that is easily grasped between fingers.
  • Target areas: Common sites include the abdomen, love handles, back, and under the chin.
  • Skin quality: Good skin elasticity ensures the area retracts smoothly after the fat dissolves.
  • Health status: Healthy individuals without cold-related conditions like cryoglobulinemia are the safest candidates.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many Australian clinics charge high per-applicator fees. In contrast, JCI-accredited Yanhee International Hospital in Bangkok treats 450,000+ patients annually. Thailand is a top-two global destination for this procedure. It often delivers results at a fraction of the $3,200 Australian average.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand find the procedure works best for spot reduction. They note it is for stubborn areas rather than total weight loss. They suggest checking that clinics use genuine equipment for satisfying contour changes.

How many CoolSculpting sessions are typically required for results in Thai treatment facilities?

CoolSculpting in Thailand typically requires 1 to 3 sessions per targeted area. Most patients see a noticeable change after 1 session. Larger areas like the abdomen often require 2 or more treatments. These are spaced 6 to 8 weeks apart at JCI-accredited Bangkok facilities.

  • Typical session range: 1–3 sessions per area are standard for fat reduction.
  • Treatment area factors: Small areas like the chin usually require 1–2 sessions.
  • Larger body areas: Abdomen or thighs often require 2–4 treatments for significant contouring.
  • Results timeline: Changes appear in 4 weeks, with final results after 4 months.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics like ID Clinic Bangkok or Yanhee International often perform 4,000 to 450,000 procedures annually. This high volume allows doctors to accurately predict session counts during free initial consultations. Prices range from $100 to $400. This makes multiple sessions more affordable than the $3,200 Australian average.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand report that results build over time. They describe the changes as incremental. Many suggest confirming if quotes cover both sides of symmetrical areas before starting treatment.

Which specific body areas can be treated during CoolSculpting procedures in Thailand?

CoolSculpting in Thailand targets stubborn fat on the abdomen, love handles, thighs, and upper arms. Leading clinics in Bangkok and Phuket also treat smaller zones like the double chin and bra fat. Specialist centres provide dedicated protocols for the male chest to reduce unwanted tissue.

  • Abdominal region: Eliminates belly fat and reduces waist circumference using large-area applicators.
  • Thigh contouring: Professional clinics target inner and outer thighs to improve leg shape.
  • Upper arm reduction: Treats "wing" arms by freezing fat pockets below the triceps.
  • Lower face: Submental applicators specifically target the double chin to define jawlines.
  • Back and hips: Addresses love handles and bra strap fat for smoother contours.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thailand’s market data reveals a high volume of requests for male-specific cryolipolysis. Centres like He Clinic and Menhance Clinic specialise in the male chest area. This specific treatment typically costs from $1,000 to $2,000 per session.

Patient Consensus: Patients in Thailand recommend confirming which specific applicators a clinic uses for your target zone. Many found that marking exact fat pockets beforehand helped achieve more precise contouring results.

Is CoolSculpting a painful procedure for patients travelling to Thailand?

CoolSculpting is not considered painful. It involves distinct sensations of intense cold and suction. Most patients experience numbness within 10 minutes. In Thailand, clinics like Yanhee International Hospital provide these non-invasive sessions. These treatments do not require anaesthesia or recovery downtime.

  • Treatment sensation: Patients feel pulling and cold pressure as the vacuum applicator attaches.
  • Numbing phase: Intensely cold sensations typically fade as the area becomes desensitised quickly.
  • Post-session massage: Manual massage after treatment breaks up fat cells. This feels temporarily achey.
  • Holiday recovery: Mild redness and tingling last 3–11 days. This won't stop sightseeing activities.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Thai clinics offer good value for multiple treatment areas. Cryolipolysis costs from $100 to $400 here. This is a saving of up to 94% compared to the $3,200 Australian average.

Patient Consensus: The initial suction and cold exposure feel like a weird pressure. Patients in Thailand recommend treatment early in your holiday to manage any temporary swelling.
