How Much Does Skinbooster Cost in Republic of Korea in AUD?

Skinbooster treatments in the Republic of Korea typically cost from AUD $278 to AUD $417. Prices depend on the specific booster formula, the volume used, and several clinic-specific factors in cities like Seoul and Cheonan. In Australia, similar procedures cost around AUD $833 on average, meaning patients save approximately 50% by travelling. Standard services often include a professional consultation and local anaesthetic cream.

  • Hyaluronic acid boosters: These are generally the most affordable option for deep skin hydration.
  • Rejuran Healer: This premium salmon DNA-based formula typically costs 15–20% more for skin repair.
  • Juvelook collagen stimulators: Pricing varies based on volume, with 4cc sessions attracting higher fees.
  • Exosome therapy: Advanced regenerative boosters usually sit at the higher end of the price scale.
  • Administration method: Using an automatic injector machine may add a small fee over manual hand-injections.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Choosing high-volume clinics provides significant value beyond just the procedure price. Oracle Clinic Cheongdam and BIOFACE Clinic each treat 25,000 patients annually, offering refined expertise in diverse booster types. Leading specialists like Dr. Jooyoung Park have even trained hundreds of other physicians in advanced injection techniques. This concentration of clinical experience ensures precise results that often justify the premium in Seoul medical hubs.

Data verified by Bookimed as of September 2026, based on patient requests and official quotes from 59 clinics worldwide. Median costs are based on real invoices (2025–2026) and updated monthly. Actual prices may vary.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to come here, and my flight back to Hawaii was smooth and stress-free
I had an amazing experience with Dr. Park and the entire team! From start to finish, everyone—especially Joanne—was incredibly accommodating and attentive, which made me feel safe and well cared for. Dr. Park did an incredible job on my breast augmentation. Remarkably, after just one day of recovery, I was able to walk around Seoul, use public transport, and see all the sights I wanted to visit. Although it was slightly uncomfortable at times, I never experienced significant pain beyond the first few hours after waking from anesthesia. I truly believe this speaks to Dr. Park’s precision—and maybe a little to my own fast healing! The clinic goes above and beyond for their patients. I received IV therapy, red light therapy, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, all of which made me feel well supported throughout recovery. Dr. Park and the team checked in consistently, which is such a green flag—so different from many experiences in the U.S., where doctors often focus solely on the surgery itself. I couldn’t be happier with my decision to come here, and my flight back to Hawaii was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend Dr. Park for anyone seeking attentive, professional care and excellent results.

That gave me a lot of confidence
I really appreciated the time my doctor took during the consultation for my forehead and frown lines. He was so thorough, explaining exactly where and why he would inject, and was very honest about what realistic results would look like after showing me photos of previous patients. That gave me a lot of confidence. Now in my early recovery, I'm feeling better than expected. It was a good process. The final price was exactly what I was quoted, with no additional expenses. My only note is that there was little contact from the clinic after my appointment, but overall the service was solid.
I’ve love how medical coordinator took care of everything !

I am still in the early stages of healing, so I am following all the aftercare instructions carefully. The surgeon was thorough, and the entire staff made me feel comfortable and well-cared-for throughout my visit. The facility was also very clean and modern. I am thankful for the support I received from the whole team.

FAQ about Skinbooster in Republic of Korea

These FAQs come from real patients seeking medical assistance through Bookimed. Answers are given by experienced medical coordinators and trusted clinic representatives.

How do I choose a clinic for skin booster in Republic of Korea?

Choose a clinic for skin boosters by prioritising board-certified dermatologists over general practitioners. Look for facilities with Korean Institute for Healthcare Accreditation (KOIHA) or KAHF certification. Favour clinics offering 1:1 consultations where doctors, rather than sales staff, perform the skin analysis and select products like Rejuran or Juvelook.

  • Specialist-led care: Choose board-certified dermatologists like Dr Ro Youngwoo at Oracle Clinic Cheongdam.
  • Safety certifications: Verify clinics hold KOIHA or KAHF accreditation for international patient safety standards.
  • Consultation style: Favour 1:1 doctor consultations over sales-led bookings to ensure proper skin mapping.
  • Transparent pricing: Professional clinics provide itemised quotes from $200 to $300 without hidden fees.

Bookimed Expert Insight: High-volume factory clinics often use automated injector guns to save time. Bookimed data shows boutique clinics like Lalian Cheongdam use 3D MetaView analysis and hand-injection techniques. Locals prefer hand-injection because it reduces product waste and allows for precise placement in the dermis.

Patient Consensus: Visitors in South Korea suggest asking to see the sealed booster syringe opened in your presence. Patients found that smaller clinics provide more personalised sessions and better results than busy chains.

What is the downtime after skin booster treatment in Republic of Korea?

Downtime after skin booster treatment in the Republic of Korea typically lasts 1–3 days. This is a mild recovery period. Basic activities can resume immediately. However, visible side effects often include swelling, redness, and small bumps (embossing). They typically last 24–48 hours before fading completely.

  • Initial side effects: Redness and mild swelling generally resolve within 48 hours.
  • Injection bumps: Common embossing at entry points typically vanishes within 2–4 days.
  • Visible bruising: Minor bruising from hand-injected boosters may take 5–7 days to clear.
  • Activity restrictions: Avoid intense exercise, saunas, and swimming for 48–72 hours post-treatment.
  • Makeup application: Light makeup is usually permitted 24 hours after their session finishes.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Board-certified specialist Dr Cho Sung-Jun performing 30,000+ procedures indicates that machine-based injectors reduce tissue trauma. Choosing clinics with delivery systems often cuts visible bruising significantly compared to traditional hand-injection methods.

Patient Consensus: Travellers in South Korea find that clinics suggest 1-day downtime. However, visible bumps and swelling actually take a week to fully vanish. Australian patients recommend planning a 7-day buffer before flying. This allows all swelling and bruising to settle completely.

What are the most popular skin boosters in Republic of Korea right now?

Juvelook and Rejuran Healer lead the skin booster market in Seoul. Juvelook combines hyaluronic acid with collagen-stimulating PDLLA for texture improvement. Rejuran uses salmon-derived polynucleotides for deep tissue repair. Newer ECM boosters like RE2O are also surging in popularity for pore reduction and firmness.

  • Juvelook hybrid: Combines PDLLA with hyaluronic acid to trigger natural collagen production.
  • Rejuran Healer: Uses polynucleotide (PN) technology for skin regeneration and barrier repair.
  • RE2O collagen: Uses human acellular dermal matrix to rebuild the skin structural scaffold.
  • Exosome therapy: Uses cell-derived vesicles like ASCE+ for rapid anti-inflammatory skin recovery.
  • Chanel injections: Delivers deep hydration and vitamins for a radiant glass skin effect.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Rejuran maintains a dominant 60% market share in Korea despite causing temporary injection bumps. Patients now frequently request Rejuran HB instead. It contains lidocaine to manage pain. It also has hyaluronic acid to reduce post-treatment swelling compared to the original formula.

Patient Consensus: Rejuran is the gold standard for long-term repair. Juvelook is the go-to for improving skin texture without pain. Patients in the Republic of Korea appreciate the immediate glow from exosomes after intensive laser treatments.

What is the difference between Rejuran Healer and Juvelook for skin booster in Republic of Korea?

Rejuran Healer uses salmon-derived polynucleotides to repair damaged skin barriers and improve resilience. Juvelook combines lactic acid and hyaluronic acid to stimulate collagen. It specifically targets enlarged pores and acne scars. Both boosters are administered via injection in leading Seoul clinics like Oracle Clinic Cheongdam.

  • Primary function: Rejuran focuses on cellular repair while Juvelook stimulates long-term collagen growth.
  • Main components: Rejuran uses salmon DNA (PN) whereas Juvelook contains PDLLA and hyaluronic acid.
  • Target concerns: Rejuran is for thin, sensitive skin, while Juvelook targets pores or sagging.
  • Recovery time: Rejuran bumps settle in 1–2 days. Juvelook may cause more initial swelling.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While patients often focus on the A$300 to A$400 cost, the real differentiator is depth. Doctors like Dr Cho Sung-Jun use multi-layer techniques. They place Rejuran superficially for repair and Juvelook deeper for volume. This combination approach often yields better results than using either booster alone.

Patient Consensus: Rejuran Healer provides faster skin calming and repair, though the injections involve significant pinch. Juvelook offers superior improvement for pore size and acne scarring. Results typically last up to 18 months in Republic of Korea.

How many sessions of skin booster are needed for best results in Republic of Korea?

Skin boosters in the Republic of Korea work best with 3 to 4 sessions. These are spaced 3 to 4 weeks apart. A single visit provides temporary hydration. However, a complete series of 3 to 4 treatments triggers cumulative collagen stimulation and skin repair. Results can last up to 18 months.

  • Treatment series: Most patients require 3 sessions to achieve the signature glass skin effect.
  • Interval timing: Providers schedule appointments every 3 to 4 weeks for optimal rejuvenation.
  • Rejuran Healer: Specialists typically recommend 3 to 4 sessions to repair deep skin layers.
  • Juvelook protocol: Clinicians suggest 2 to 3 sessions to improve pores and fine lines.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Many clinics use injector guns for speed. However, high-volume specialists like Dr Jooyoung Park at BIOFACE Clinic often provide hand-injected techniques. Data shows hand-injections deliver more product per session. This improves the density of collagen repair compared to automated methods.

Patient Consensus: Expect visible hydration after one session in Seoul clinics. A single visit suits short-stay travellers. For lasting texture changes, plan for at least 3 treatments. Hand-injected boosters are highly preferred for better product delivery.

What exactly is a skin booster injection in Republic of Korea?

A skin booster is a minimally invasive injectable treatment that rejuvenates skin from within by delivering active ingredients into the dermis. Unlike fillers that add volume, boosters improve hydration, texture, and elasticity. They use microinjections of salmon DNA, exosomes, or collagen-stimulating acids. This achieves the famous glass skin glow.

  • Regenerative focus: Repairs the skin barrier using salmon DNA (PN/PDRN) or exosome-based therapies.
  • Popular brands: Rejuran Healer is widely used for repair while Juvelook stimulates long-term collagen.
  • Injection technique: Specialists perform superficial manual injections often resulting in short-term temporary bumps.
  • No downtime: Outpatient sessions require only numbing cream and allow for immediate recovery.
  • Multiple sessions: Best results typically require 3 treatments spaced approximately 3 to 4 weeks apart.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Rejuran is the gold standard for texture repair. However, many patients now opt for Rejublast or Juvelook. Data shows these alternatives offer similar regenerative benefits. They cause significantly less discomfort and fewer mosquito-bite-like bumps. Clinics like BIOFACE and AB Plastic Surgery often recommend choosing between the two. The choice depends on whether immediate hydration or long-term collagen stimulation is the priority.

Patient Consensus: Patients in the Republic of Korea love the visible radiance and smoother texture. These injections provide that. Many suggest requesting Rejublast. This avoids the temporary bumps common with Rejuran. It still achieves that sought-after glass skin finish.

Do I need a consultation before getting a skin booster in Republic of Korea?

Consultations are essential before receiving skin boosters in South Korea. Many clinics perform them on the day of treatment. However, they are vital for selecting specific boosters like Rejuran or Juvelook and checking for allergies. Qualified clinics provide 1:1 doctor assessments for personalised results.

  • Clinical assessment: Specialists determine which booster suits a patient’s skin type and hydration goals.
  • Product verification: Authentic clinics show sealed products like Rejuran before the injection begins.
  • Advanced diagnostics: Clinics such as Lalian Cheongdam use 3D MetaView analysis for precise skin mapping.
  • Professional staffing: Leading centres like AB Plastic Surgery employ 30+ specialists for patient safety.

Bookimed Expert Insight: Patients should look for clinics in Seoul that provide 100% physician continuity. Dr Cho Sung-Jun at RE:BERRY Clinic personally handles every step from the first consultation to the injection. This avoids the common factory-style approach where patients only meet the doctor at the procedure stage.

Patient Consensus: Patients find the 3D skin analysis incredibly thorough. They also appreciate when consultation fees are deducted from the treatment cost. Many recommend bringing an interpreter to South Korea. Another option is choosing clinics with English-speaking medical staff for clarity.
