How Much Does Implant-Supported Dental Bridge Cost in Republic of Korea in AUD?

An implant-supported dental bridge in the Republic of Korea typically costs from AUD $4,994 to AUD $11,130. Final pricing depends on the number of bridge units, chosen implant brands, and material quality. Patients save around 48% by travelling from Australia, where the same procedure averages AUD $15,696. Costs usually include 3D CT scans, initial consultations, and follow-up care.

  • Domestic implant brands: Typically cost 30–50% less than premium international systems like Straumann.
  • Zirconia bridge material: Adds roughly 15–20% more than porcelain-fused-to-metal for enhanced aesthetics.
  • 3-unit bridge on two implants: Generally represents the baseline price for replacing three adjacent teeth.
  • Full-arch restorations: All-on-4 or similar solutions increase costs significantly compared to standard bridges.
  • Bone grafting: If required for low jaw density, this adds approximately 10–20% to the total.

Bookimed Expert Insight: While Seoul hubs like Gangnam command a 20% premium, the value lies in clinical volume. Specialists like Dr. Kang Inwon have performed over 80,000 procedures. High-tier clinics like Chung-Ang University Hospital, ranked by Newsweek, provide academic-level expertise. Choosing domestic brands like Osstem or MegaGen provides world-recognised quality while keeping costs significantly below Australian private dental rates.

Set aside more money for the treatment than is stated. Taxes were added on top at the clinic, and the dental cleaning also costs extra. I ended up with additional costs of around $100.
It was very easy to book the appointment, and on the day of the treatment everything went really quickly. Within an hour, my teeth were beautifully whitened.
One negative aspect was the lack of transparency regarding the costs. The description of the treatment suggested that, for $370, you would receive three sessions of bleaching plus a professional teeth clean. However, when I got there, I had to pay extra for the teeth cleaning, and on top of that, a hefty amount of tax was suddenly added to the total price, which meant the whole thing ended up costing nearly $100 more. Fortunately, I don’t trust anything, so I’d already factored in additional costs when planning my budget. Even so, it would be nice to be able to estimate the costs in advance.
