Before your arrival
- Please arrive at the hospital in the morning. Your examination, tests and surgery take place on the same day.
- If you smoke, you need to stop 2 to 4 weeks before surgery.
- Liposuction is not suitable for patients with morbid obesity, multiple chronic health conditions or blood clotting disorders.

Your recovery timeline
- Days 1-7: Surgery, then 7 nights at the hospital with your companion, under close medical supervision. Check-ups on Day 3 and Day 7.
- Day 8: Discharge and transfer to your hotel.
- Days 10-14: Final check-up, then you can fly home.
- First 6-8 weeks: You wear compression garments. Your surgeon will explain in detail how to use them.
- After about 2 weeks: Return to work, depending on your job.
- After 6 weeks: Return to strenuous exercise.
- Following months: Most swelling settles within 3 months. Final results appear in about 6 months.
