About the clinic
Liver transplantation at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital in Turkey may cost around $55,000 for a living donor package. This comprehensive package includes care for both the donor and recipient. The clinic's main advantage is its JCI accreditation and status as Turkey's first Smart-and-Green hospital.
The living donor liver transplantation package covers the surgery for both patient and donor. The donor stays in the hospital for 11 nights. The recipient stays for 23 nights. Both patients receive standard single room accommodation.
The package includes a wide range of pre-transplant investigations. These include portal CT, venography, and MRI scans. A cardiology consultation is also part of the initial workup. The final surgery suitability is determined after a detailed evaluation at the center.
What is Included in the Package?
- Living donor liver transplantation surgery for both donor and recipient

The Florence Nightingale Hospital is part of a major healthcare group. It holds JCI and ISO accreditations. It features 251 patient beds and 51 intensive care units. The facility also has an EOS imaging device, which was the first in Turkey.
Payment terms require an advance of $5,000 before hospitalization. Half of the inpatient costs are paid before arrival via bank transfer. The clinic offers the package in both USD and Euro currencies. Alternative package prices are around €60,000 and €65,000.
Some costs are not included in the base package. Extra medications for conditions like hepatitis cost additional fees. Further interventional procedures or tests also incur separate charges. Complications and prolonged hospitalization fall outside the package scope.
The donor must be a relative, as Turkish law prohibits the clinic from assisting in finding one. All arrangements for appointments and transfers are handled by the clinic. To explore this treatment option, you can request a consultation via Bookimed.
