Between 1997 and 2000, he worked as a specialist doctor at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of the same hospital, and between 2000 and 2004, he served as a chief resident at the same hospital. Between 2004 and 2013, he worked as a chief resident in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital of the Ministry of Health.
