Dr. Mustafa Akkaya earned his medical degree from Gazi University (2003–2009). He completed his residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazit University (2009–2014). He holds a PhD in Musculoskeletal System and Regenerative Medicine from the same university (2016–2020).

In 2022, he received the European Knee Society Knee Arthroplasty Traveling Researcher Fellowship in robotic knee arthroplasty. He worked as a clinical researcher at Helios ENDO‑Klinik Hamburg (2021–2022), focusing on advanced joint surgery and prosthetic infections. He specializes in adult and pediatric spine surgery. His focus includes spinal deformities, degenerative spine disorders, spinal trauma, and complex spinal reconstruction.

He completed a spine surgery fellowship at Johns Hopkins University. He also received clinical training at Heidelberg University. Prof. Adnan Kara is an orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in limb reconstruction, osseointegration for prosthetics, and amputation surgery. He has performed over 10,000 successful orthopedic procedures.
