This was all great
If you're considering a Gallium 68 PET-CT abroad, here's my perspective. The human support was a definite highlight. My coordinator was excellent, always in touch, very kind and helping decide every issue. I found the doctor to be accurate and attentive, and having good translation support made a difference. The staff and accommodation were a boon. This was all great. On the other hand, the process could be more efficient. I wish the clinic were supporting my native doctors' reports for MRI, CT, and biopsy, so I hadn't had unnecessary expenses. Having to repeat diagnostics that were already done at home was frustrating. Overall the medical care was solid, but it's worth clarifying their policy on existing records before you commit.
Coordinator was eccellent, always in touch, vety kind and helping deciding every issue, doctor was accurate and attentive, translation support was good, staff and accomodation were boon
I wish clinic were suppirting my native doctors' reports for MRI, CT, PET/CT scans, biopsy patomorphology and I hadn't unnecessary expenses

When I considered what could be improved, honestly, nothing came to mind
My coordinator has been incredible through all stages of this process. She checked in daily, sometimes multiple times a day, ensuring every aspect of my treatment for benign prostatic hyperplasia was managed well, which made the entire situation so much easier to navigate. I'm still in early recovery. The surgeon, staff, and the clinic itself were all excellent. When I considered what could be improved, honestly, nothing came to mind. The consistent communication and management of the process were that thorough. Everything was handled for me from start to finish with great care.
Coordinator has been amazing at all stages of the process, she's checked in daily or many times daily, made sure all aspects of the process were managed very well and has made the entire experience so much easier to navigate.
Nothing comes to mind - She's been absolutely amazing.

Everything was done at a very high level, and I am sincerely grateful for the help and support I received from everyone involved
The medical team's communication during my Gallium 68 DOTATATE PET-CT was direct and clear, which set the tone for the entire process. From coordination to the scan itself, every stage was handled with a high degree of professionalism. My overall sentiment is simple: everything was done at a very high level, and I am sincerely grateful for the help and support I received from everyone involved. The clinic environment and the attentive staff made a significant difference. I have no suggestions for improvement. The service was solid.

Everything was flawless
If you’re considering stem cell rejuvenation, you should be aware that the hardest part comes after the procedure. For me, the biggest challenge was definitely waiting for the results. The procedure itself, which involved using stem cells from my blood plasma, was straightforward. Physically, I actually feel much the same as before, which is probably normal in the early stages of recovery. The surgeon and the entire staff were consistently professional and supportive, so I give full marks for the care and the clinic. Everything was flawless. You just have to be aware that patience is required. I would recommend the clinic.
The treatment went smoothly. The town is lovely for sightseeing afterwards, too.
The clinic’s coordinator isn’t always available, which was sometimes frustrating. It makes you feel insecure. I was scared at first (new city, I didn’t know anyone and I didn’t speak the language either). The Bookimed staff member was always available and replied straight away. She was reliable, which made my stay much easier in the end. Not all the hotels are good. I recommend the Hyatt hotel (it’s expensive, though) and 216 Castel (cheap and in a lovely area). Be careful with taxi drivers in the city. You end up paying more than the journey actually cost.

The diagnostic stage was conducted at a high professional level
If you are currently looking for a place to undergo a CT scan and considering different options, let me share my experience. From the very beginning, the interaction was set up very efficiently. All organizational issues were resolved quickly, coordinators were in touch and provided all the necessary information, which helped to avoid unnecessary stress. Everything at the clinic went according to plan. No delays. The staff acted professionally and cohesively, from registration to the procedure itself. The equipment looked modern, and the environment was calm and clean, which also matters. The doctor who analyzed the images provided clear and understandable explanations of the results. I am still in the recovery process, but the diagnostic stage was conducted at a high professional level. I had no complaints.

Qualifications

Murat Dokdok is a radiologist at Anadolu Medical Center. He completed a Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at the University Hospital of Zurich. Dr. Dokdok also held a short-term fellowship at Harvard Medical School. Additionally, he served as a post-doctoral associate at the University of Minnesota.

Specialization and Advanced Imaging

The physician treats patients using neuroradiology and interventional radiology. He uses imaging techniques to treat neurological and vascular conditions. These methods allow for precise intervention in delicate structures. Dr. Dokdok performs several minimally invasive procedures:

  • Radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of the liver
  • HIFU (High intensity focused ultrasound ablation) — a non-invasive treatment that uses ultrasound waves to destroy diseased tissue
  • Chemoembolization and radioembolization for liver cancer
  • Treatment of cerebral artery aneurysms
  • Treatment of arteriovenous malformations

He performs diagnostics including brain MRI and diffusion tensor imaging — a technique that maps white matter tracts in the brain. This high-field imaging helps map brain function before therapeutic interventions. The doctor also treats uterine fibroids and liver metastases using interventional techniques.
