For many years, he worked as a General Surgery Specialist, Surgical Oncology Specialist and General Surgery Training Officer at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital, one of the centers where cancer surgery, especially breast, is performed most intensively in Turkey. After retiring, he worked for a while in his own private practice.
