In 2007, I graduated from Trakya University, Faculty of Medicine and received the title of “Medical Doctor”. In the same year, as a result of the TUS exam I took, I started my specialization training at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Cardiovascular Surgery.

During my specialization training, in 2010, I worked as a guest doctor at “Lenox Hill Hospital, Aortic Wellness Center” in New York, USA, on aortic valve-preserving surgery, aortic root surgery, aortic arch surgery, thoracoabdominal aortic surgery and robotic heart surgery.

In 2013, I worked as a “fellow” at the “Landeskrankenhaus Salzburg, Paracelsus Universitätsklinik für Gefäßchirurgie und endovaskuläre Chirurgie” clinic in Salzburg, Austria, and conducted studies on endovascular and advanced vascular surgery techniques.

In 2013, I worked as a visiting physician at the “Vita-Salute University, Scientific Institute, Ospedale San Raffaele, dipartimento di chirurgia vascolare ed endovascolare” clinic in Milan, Italy, on endovascular techniques, advanced vascular techniques and surgical treatment of thoracoabdominal aortic aneurysms.

In 2013, I completed my assistant training and earned the title of “Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist”.

As of 2014, I started working as a “Specialist Doctor” at the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery, Faculty of Medicine, Ondokuz Mayıs University.

In 2016, I received the title of “Assistant Professor Doctor”. In the same year, I received the “Certificate of Proficiency” issued by the “Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Qualification Board”.

In 2017, I worked as a visiting doctor for 3 months at the “Landeskrankenhaus Nürnberg, Paracelsus Universitätsklinik für Gefäßchirurgie und endovaskuläre Chirurgie” clinic in Nuremberg, Germany, on advanced endovascular (FEVAR, BEVAR, CHEVAR, EVAR, TEVAR) techniques in aortic diseases.

I received the title of “Associate Professor” in 2019. I am fluent in English.

Associate Professor Cenk Indelen is a highly skilled cardiovascular surgeon who specialises in minimally invasive cardiac procedures at Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital.

Professor Sung-Ho Kim, MD, MS, PhD, is a pediatric cardiologist and congenital heart disease specialist with more than 40 years of experience. He trained at Hanyang University College of Medicine (MD) and Hanyang University Graduate School (MS, PhD). He helped advance catheter-based treatment of ASD, VSD, tetralogy of Fallot, and other defects. This work reduced the need for open-heart surgery. He has performed more than 1,200 pediatric and congenital cardiac interventions.

He has led academic and clinical programs. He contributes to research and training. He also participates in professional cardiology societies and presents at international conferences.

Dr Jieun Ban specialises in treating complex rhythm disorders in children and adolescents at Bucheon Sejong Hospital. She focuses on using cryoablation and catheter-based treatments to manage pediatric arrhythmias safely.

Professor İlhan Mavioğlu is a cardiovascular surgeon and leads the Cardiovascular Surgery Outpatient Clinic. His focus areas include total arterial revascularization. He performs minimally invasive off-pump anaortic CABG (MACAB) and MIDCAB. He also performs awake carotid surgery. He manages peripheral vascular and endovascular procedures, including chimney TEVAR, EVAR, BEVAR, FEVAR, PEVAR, and CERAB, and handles related complications.

Education and accreditation: MD, Hacettepe University (1990). Cardiovascular surgery specialization, Dışkapı Yıldırım Beyazıt Training and Research Hospital (1996). Associate Professor, Mersin University (2003). Professor, Düzce University (2012). Certificates include endovascular training (2011) and Robotic Mitral Valve Repair (2014).

Publications include J Clin Med (2023), Innovations (2023), J Card Surg (2022), and Asian Cardiovasc Thorac Ann (2019). He also authored a 12-year infrarenal AAA mortality report (1999). He has been a member of national and European cardiovascular and vascular societies since 1992.

Prof. Murat Sünbül is a Professor of Cardiology at İstinye University, Topkapı Liv Hospital (2025–present). He earned his M.D. from Istanbul University in 2005 and completed a cardiology residency at Marmara University in 2010. From 2011 to 2025, he served at Marmara University as a Cardiology Specialist, and then as Assistant, Associate, and Professor.

Expertise includes complex coronary interventions and coronary imaging (FFR, OCT, IVUS). He performs peripheral, carotid, and renal artery interventions and denervation. He treats structural and valve disease (ASD/PFO closure, TAVI). He provides device therapy (LBB pacing, ICD, CRT). He uses advanced imaging (TEE, 3D echo, speckle tracking) and performs right heart catheterization. He also manages heart failure, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and pulmonary hypertension.

He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals. His work has appeared in Herz, The Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeon, Cardiology Journal, and Wiener Klinische Wochenschrift.
