The doctor graduated from İzmir Ege University Faculty of Medicine and specialized in Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty. In 1997, the doctor pursued further studies at St James Seacroft University Hospital in England. After completing specialization, the doctor was appointed to Istanbul Yavuz Selim Hospital and later worked at Bezmi Alem University, earning the title of Associate Professor in 2010. With over 20 international publications, the doctor is a member of several prestigious associations, including the Turkish Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Association.

The doctor has been awarded an MCh from TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, and completed an MS in General Surgery from B. J. Medical College, Pune. Specializing in Head & Neck Reconstruction, Breast Reconstruction, Trunk & Limb Reconstruction, Vascular Surgery, and Lymphedema Management, the doctor has performed over 1500 cases of Microvascular Tissue Transfer for Oncoreconstruction. The doctor is a lifetime member of the World Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery, International Course on Supermicrosurgery, and the Indian Society of Reconstructive Microsurgery.

The doctor graduated from Hacettepe University Medical Faculty in 1997 and completed a specialty in Aesthetic, Plastic, and Reconstructive Surgery at Lütfi Kırdar Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 2005.

With extensive experience in both state and university hospitals, the doctor has worked at Balıkesir State Hospital and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Faculty of Medicine. Since 2011, the doctor has been practicing at Kadıköy Şifa Ataşehir Hospital's Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic.

Associate Professor Melikoglu won first place for his microsurgical work on saddle-nose deformity repair at the Gulhane Military Medical Academy.

Developed a cleft palate repair technique for cheiloschisis.

Currently serves as a Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeon at Artemis Hospital, with previous roles including Head of the Plastic Surgery Department at Oman Hospital and Senior Lecturer at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research Chandigarh, India.
