The doctor graduated from Istanbul University School of Medicine and furthered their education at University Eye Clinics in Cologne and Tuebingen, Germany. Specializing in ophthalmology, the doctor holds certifications in LASIK application, presbyopia correction with multifocal intraocular lenses, scleral fixation techniques, corneal collagen cross-linking, femtosecond applications for anterior segment surgery, and corneal topography analyzing.

As a member of several prestigious organizations, including the German Ophthalmological Society, American Academy of Ophthalmology, and European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, the doctor has contributed to numerous international seminars and publications, notably on immunomodulatory therapy of uveitis and at various European ophthalmological congresses.
