Assoc. Prof. Atakan Topçu, M.D., is a medical oncologist at Medipol University and Medipol Acıbadem Regional Hospital. He treats solid tumors, including lung, breast, colorectal, gastric, and neuroendocrine cancers. His work also covers targeted therapies, immunotherapy, geriatric oncology, and cancer-related malnutrition, cachexia, and sarcopenia.

He has authored more than 50 peer-reviewed papers. Recent work includes a 2024 Frontiers in Medicine study on geriatric syndromes and a 2023 Future Oncology paper on sarcopenia and anxiety in lung cancer. He has also published on the CONUT score in breast cancer and on malnutrition in HER2-negative metastatic gastric cancer.

Dr. Topçu serves on the Editorial Board of BMC Cancer. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology, ESMO, and the Turkish Geriatrics Society. Dr. Zuhal Cakmak Peksen is a Family Medicine Specialist since 2017. She earned her MD from Çukurova University in 2010. She completed specialty training at Yüzüncü Yıl University between 2013 and 2017. She is currently studying for a bachelor’s degree in Health Management at Anadolu University (2024–present).

She has 15 years of clinical practice (2010–2025) across 8 institutions. Her experience includes research in Family Medicine (2013–2017) and work at several Family Health Centers. Since 2020, she has served at TOKİ Avrupa Family Health Center in Gaziosmanpaşa, Istanbul.

Dr. Ercan Ozden is a specialist in internal medicine and medical oncology. He earned his medical degree and completed his residency at Istanbul University, Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine. He later received a subspecialty in medical oncology at Kocaeli University Faculty of Medicine from 2016 to 2020.

Dr. Ozden has worked in medical oncology at Şırnak State Hospital. He has also served as an internal medicine specialist at Bağcılar Private Safa Hospital and Küçükçekmece Batı Bahat Hospital. He has extensive clinical experience in both internal medicine and oncology.

Dr. Muhammed Mustafa Atci is an Associate Professor of Medical Oncology at İstinye University, Liv Hospital Topkapı (2025–present). He previously served as Associate Professor and Education Coordinator at Prof. Dr. Cemil Taşcıoğlu City Hospital (2023–2025). He was also a Medical Oncologist there (2018–2021).

He has been a member of ASCO and the Turkish Society of Medical Oncology since 2018. He is the author or co-author of 19 peer-reviewed international papers on colon, breast, gastric, pancreatic, lung, thyroid, sarcoma, and colorectal cancers.

Notable works include a multicentre study on stage IIB colon cancer survival (Journal of Chemotherapy). He also studied the De Ritis ratio for lung metastasis in testicular cancer (Current Urology). His prognostic studies used PET/CT, MSI, lymph node ratio, and metabolic tumor volume.

Dr. Mehmet Yigit is an internal medicine specialist. He focuses on diabetes, metabolic syndrome, thyroid diseases, and hypertension. He also treats gastrointestinal problems such as dyspepsia, gastritis, and irritable bowel syndrome. In addition, he manages spondylitis and connective tissue diseases.

Dr. Yigit graduated from Çukurova University Faculty of Medicine in 2007. He completed his internal medicine training at Adnan Menderes University in 2013. The doctor has extensive experience in the field of urology, having started their career with mandatory service at Konya Seydişehir Gevrekli Health Center. They advanced their expertise as a specialist student at Atatürk State Hospital and Ege University Faculty of Medicine. The doctor gained international exposure as an observer at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Mayo Clinic, and as a research assistant at UCLA.

They served as a urologist and later as an Associate Professor and Professor of Medicine at Ege University. Additionally, they held the position of Vice Dean at Izmir University of Economics Faculty of Medicine and currently serve as a Professor of Medicine at Medicana Bursa Hospital.

The doctor graduated from Uludağ University Medical College with a Diploma of Medicine in 1983 and completed a residency in Radiation Oncology at the Center of Oncology & Nuclear Medicine in Istanbul in 1990. A post-doctoral fellowship in Thermoradiotherapy was completed at Thomas Jefferson University from 1990 to 1994. The doctor served as Professor and Chairman of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Uludağ University Medical College from 1994 to 2005 and was the Faculty Accreditation Coordinator from 2001 to 2004.

From 2004 to 2017, the doctor was a Professor and Director of the Department of Radiation Oncology at Anadolu Medical Center, also serving as Coordinator of Oncological Sciences from 2011 to 2017. Currently, the doctor is the Director of Oncological Sciences at Medicana Bursa Hospital, a position held since 2018.
