Dr. Yavuz Besogul is a cardiovascular surgeon at Neolife Medical Center. He received his MD from Erciyes University in 1989. He pursued an academic career in cardiovascular surgery at Eskisehir Osmangazi University. He served as Professor from 2008 to 2012. His clinical posts include Eskisehir Osmangazi University (1992–2012) and Kiziltoprak Florence Nightingale Hospital (2012–2014). He worked at Medicana Camlica as Coordinator of Cardiovascular Surgery and as a member of the Ethics Committee (2014–2016). He later served at Medical Park–Istinye University (2017–2023) and Biruni University Hospital (2024–2026).
His clinical focus includes minimally invasive cardiac surgery and axillary valve surgery. He performs valve repair and replacement and coronary bypass, including minimally invasive methods. He treats peripheral vascular, carotid, and venous disease. He offers varicose vein care with sclerotherapy, foam therapy, and endovenous ablation, as well as capillary laser. He also performs sympathectomy and provides diabetic limb care. He manages Buerger’s disease and Raynaud’s.
He is a member of the Turkish Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, the National Vascular Surgery Society, and the Phlebology Society. He serves as a referee for the International Journal of Interventional Cardiology. He is on the advisory boards of Türkiye Klinikleri and the Journal of Cardiovascular Sciences.
