After the training he received in 2006 and 2007 at the “Laparoscopy, Robotics and Oncology Center” of Heildelberg University, Heilbronn SLK Hospital, Germany, he continues to serve his patients in Turkey, especially in the field of Laparoscopic/Robotic Surgery. Prof. Dr. Ali Ferruh Akay is a board-certified urologist with more than 30 years of medical experience. He has specialized in urology for over 25 years. He currently serves as Professor of Urology at Başkent University Istanbul Hospital.

Dr. Akay earned his medical degree from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his urology residency at Dicle University Faculty of Medicine. In 2005, he received advanced training in Endourology and Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Rochester in the USA.
