Romatem Hospitals use the Lokomat robotic system to help restore walking in children with cerebral palsy. Rehabilitation may cost around A$3,800, not including accommodation which ranges from A$560 to A$700 per day with meals, medicines, transfers, translation, and nutritionist services included. Prof Dr Gunesh Yavuzer, PhD from Erasmus University, leads the centre and specialises in robotic rehabilitation and gait analysis. The clinic is part of University of Namik Kemal with hydrotherapy, occupational, speech, laser, and nutritional therapies available.
