What I would say to a friend considering this procedure is to make sure they have a thorough blood test beforehand. As for me, everything was very straightforward. The surgeon gave me a very clear explanation of the glands that needed to be treated, which put me at ease. Regarding my concerns about bone density, we decided that this is something to monitor later, which makes sense at this stage. I will come for a check-up in six months
